Bad experience all round. I had a number of issues with the car which they refused to solve. Very polite on the day of the sale, after which they were very rude in all conversations on the phone with them. The car had a noisy engine. I know very little about cars, and I asked about the noise. I was told, its a diesel and it's cold. The noise will go away. My fault for trusting them, but just over a year later, told by repair shop high-pressure fuel pump needs replacing at a cost of over £2k. I feel totally conned. And all their positive google reviews are fake if you look into their profiles at all.

I got in touch with Mark at KB car centre about part exchanging my car towards a Renault Mégane they had. Mark offered me a quote for my car and when I asked about viewing I was told I'd have to pay a £250 "refundable reservation fee". This probably should've raise some alarm bells but it's been a long time since I last bought a car from a dealer so I assumed this was the norm. After I paid the reservation fee Mark informed me the car has no service history, "not the end of the world" I thought, still worth checking out. So I made the 3 hour round trip to view the car and immediately there were problems. The windows and central locking had all packed up. Only happened that morning apparently. I took the car for a test drive and it drove as it should, only complaint was that the gear stick wouldn't automatically centre like it should which made gear changes awkward. Returning from the test drive we spoke about the windows and central locking and Mark assured me they would be fixed. When I brought up the gear stick I was told it was a 13 year old car and "can't be made new". I'm not looking for new but I don't think it's unreasonable for it to be working as it should. At this point Mark told me the car also only has one key. I gave the car some thought over the weekend. I spoke with a local mechanic about the cost of putting things right. It would need a cambelt and water pump replacement due to lack of service history, gear stick issues were most likely caused by worn gear cables and sourcing and coding a replacement key altogether would cost around £8-900. I emailed Mark early the following week to say I'd decided against the car due to the amount of work it would require in the near future. I received an email reply from Aram who basically accused my of lying and making up numbers. He then proceeds to tell me that the work required can be done by them for only a couple of hundred pounds. After Mark's "I can't make it new" comment I'd be very dubious of any work they did. But you also have to wonder, if they can make the car good for such a small amount why not do that before they advertise the car for sale? After a few days of emails back and forth Aram finally tells to email Mark about refunding my "refundable reservation fee". It's been a week since I gave Mark my bank details and still they haven't given me my money back. So far I'm down nearly 200 miles worth of fuel and £250 for a car that was absolutely not as advertised. I would avoid these guys like the plague. A bunch of crooks that seriously lack manners and customer service skills.

Noticed on line this car dealer selling cars slightly cheaper then anywhere else ....must be a catch right? Well, I haven’t found one! Not yet anyway! It’s been a great experience buying my lovely new Eco sport Ford from Aram and his team. I phoned him several times before meeting him and viewing the car (we live 75mls away) and he couldn’t have been more helpful, putting my mind at peace. He understood I didn’t want to come all that way and he would come back on his word part exchanging my car etc and telling me the EcoSport is in good condition when it isn’t. That wasn’t the case at all. He was friendly, accurate, professional and honest. He stuck to our deal we discussed in the phone, took our old car without any problems and I now have my Eco sport Ford, much cheaper then anywhere in the UK and it drives/operates fabulous as it should. WOULD RECOMMEND KINGS BROMLEY CAR CENTRE.

Purchased our dream car, a BMW X6 09 plate from Kings Bromley Car Centre in April 2018, when we went to look at it a young guy seemed to be running the show on his own, polite enough, but not sure he gave us the confidence he knew what he was talking about. We had a test drive and the car seemed okay, we looked at the service history too which didn't look too neglected but a couple of the MOT advisory notes recorded an oil leak amongst other things, we raised this at the time and asked had it been fixed? The answer to that was we'd check it over if purchased. We decided we wanted the car and started to talk to the young guy about our part exchange, without looking at it properly and after a few phone calls to his boss (a bit odd) we got what we thought was a decent price for ours so the purchase went ahead. The garage was going to check the oil leak and and give the car a full RAC inspection before we picked the X6 up a week or so later. We got the car and was so excited about it, allegedly the oil leak wasn't a problem so we went on our merry way or so we thought!! A couple of weeks later and just before we were due to go on holiday in May there was a hell of a racket from the front wheel, the air conditioning unit wasn't working and there were some other niggles, we rang Kings Bromley who promptly said bring it in, fair enough we thought. They had the car in for a few weeks which ran into the time we were going away, Kings Bromley had to loan us our old car back to go on holiday, after a week away our car was ready. The car took 3 weeks to fix at a cost to the garage not us, fair enough! Got the car back and went on our merry way again! Had it back a few weeks and low and behold the oil leak that was meant to have been fixed was obvious on our drive way, again the car went back and yes it was there for another 2 weeks at a cost to Kings Bromley. Again we were grateful but why does it have to take so long each time?! Got the car back again and went on our merry way, a few weeks later on the motorway the car went into limp mode and a transmission fault appeared! This time we took it to a local garage as Kings Bromley said it was out of warranty by now (can't say on here what I want to say), oh what a surprise they didn't want anymore to do with it after all this repair was eating away at their profit on the car and cheek enough suggested an extended warranty from them, yeah right!! We're still trying to find out what the transmission fault is as a diagnostic showed several more faults e.g. transfer box (got it fixed £150.00), DPF unit (expensive to sort, next job) gear box oil change (got it done £200.00) and a few other things, which we're still working through. Oh and the latest is the alternator has packed in which we have had done £300.00 quid later and guess what just before we go away again, and guess what again, the effin thing broke down on holiday, we've had to leave the car in Cornwall for a low loader to bring it back, luckily our cover included national recovery and a car hire or we would have been stitched. So anyone wishing to buy a car from Kings Bromley shouldn't do but if you do please take no notice of the full check it's suppose to give, there's no such thing!!! My dream car has turned into a nightmare!! NEVER AGAIN from Kings Bromley Car Centre!!!
