Was purchasing a Ford Puma In Matter grey maqaddas was helpful and said we can deliver saves the 115 mile drive down but I said no I will look he assured me I would not be disappointed so I paid £500 deposit a gamble but assured me it was mint when me my wife and a friend turned up only I was allowed to test drive with him. Me and my friend looked around the car and wow the problems was horrendous. 1, dash drivers side chewed. 2, rear bumper lines did not meet up big gaps at one side. 3, rear seats the backs looked like they’d be clawed by a dog. 4, rear passenger side seats rubber seal around where the seats was hanging off wouldn’t clip down as well as the plastic trim was hanging off wouldn’t clip down. Front bonnet badly fitted big gaps around the drivers headlight compared to passenger side he had told me a week earlier no front end damage!!!. 5, middle console big gauge around where you alter the eco mode stop start. 6, front bumper had been re sprayed you could see the colour difference. 7, considering it was rear damage I did know it was cat s but the bumper he said has been changed and re sprayed I know it was changed as he sent pictures but it was very badly scratched. 8, down the passenger side rear at the bottom bad gauges. 9, Engine cover had big pieces missing out of it god knows how as it sits under the bonnet. We only looked for 15 minutes where certain we’d have found plenty more problems. I had to make the decision that I had to walk away from this and knowing I was to lose £500 deposit but I was so pleased I never transferred all the £14500 and had it delivered so relieved at that decision, he asked what was wrong with it by Whattsapp and I listed the faults he just said ok well I have another grey one and a blue one saves you losing your money. Been honest he could have offered the puma at any price I would not have bought very disappointed and a lesson learnt from this.

Adam from Kingstanding Car Sales in response to Worst buying experience ever

Hi very sorry to hear that you was not happy with the car. You were advised it was a cat-S damaged repaired car at point of sale, also we did advise you to come have a look before leaving a deposit but you said for the price you didn’t want to loose the deal. Sorry once again that this was not the one for you. Thanks Kingstanding car sales

Mark in response to Worst buying experience ever

Yes I did know it was cat S and you really pushed to pay all the money up front and have it delivered free glad I never I would have been mortified to which I said no I want to see it you advised to pay £500 deposit as if I drive down it maybe sold to someone else and I’ve still got the messages stating you said you won’t be disappointed you have my word. The car has been on sale a while now which shows yes it looks great In the pictures and is cheap but I’m guessing a lot have looked at this car and walked away if you scroll through the reviews it’s not great reading BEWARE

Kingstanding car sales When we arrived noone was there we didnt realise appointment only so we waited when someone arrived they were quite nice and let us have a look at the vw cabriolet . he didnt seem to know an awful lot about the car ,he seemed to hover and not allow us to fully look at all the car ,   we asked about the log book which he only had a picture we asked about previous history he non ( of which we excepted and v5 could be done online by the photo) we asked to look at mot which we picked up advisories that were quite serious the brake pads needed doing we did raise this with him so went out to the car to look we did tell him they needed doing . after went for a test drive which was pleasent although the guy from the garage didnt seem to want it to be a long test drive and was quite insistant we go back my husband had to ask for me to have a test drive which i did but seem a little hovered over .. Regardless we liked the car got back to the garage and i was a little concerned about the mould in tbe back he assured me its because it has been standing for a while not used which we accepted i was assured after asking quite firmly for a service that it would recieve one . we left a deposit to come back at the end of the week to collect . when we went back for the car they were all pleasent and paperwork was completed still seemed to be a bit unsure of things in the car as we asked about door card replacement ( money taken off for this ) however once we left we found that warning light was on all the way home for brake pads which we asked to be changed but he wouldnt do that ,  we found sensors is not work as the radio put in the car was not original ,  the drop top roof has a small section where it doesnt close as tight as it should ,  non of the interior lights work and arent even connected ,  electric wing mirrors dont work at all and with inspection taking off door card find that wiring is taped so wiring was broken at some point . none of this was picked up when the car was supposedly serviced ( only oil and filter changed) and the garage apparently cleaned the entire car so these things should have been picked up by them . they can al be rectified at cost but i think they should be paying more attention to letting the customer look properly and doing things like a service and advisories on a car mot when they are of a serious nature like brakes . they also need to LISTEN to there customers when they say the pads need changing these should have been checked especially when the warning appears on the dash ! . i am extremley disappointed that the things that were wrong were not brought too our attention and that a proper FULL service wasnt carried out and that they had this car for a while and havent checked it properly if they had the issues we have found would have either been stated or rectified . Also with them charging a £149 admin fee when given cash payment is a joke ! . just be careful nice guys but dont fully check there cars and they do hover hang over you when  your looking at a vehicle . we accept we took the car regardless as it is a nice car and my husband can fix all the faults what we dont like is the fact these issues werent told to us and werent rectified and that they left serious issues like the brake pads undone .

£1400 for a car from Kingstanding Car Sales with brake problems. Driving with ABS problems on ! If you do buy a car here the warranty is a bigger headache, got to wait 14 days before they will even look at repairing costs which has to be emailed from a garage of your choice which they can turn down ! Absolute joke! Sound like I will have to wait a year before I can fix it and I only get 3 months warranty

Bought a car from Kingstanding Cars with satnav.....doesn’t work, aircon....doesn’t work, spare keys need batteries, don’t work. Staff don’t have much knowledge of their product and their customer service needs to be reviewed. Will NEVER go there again! Auto Trader ....how can you be associated with coins use like this???!

I bought a Vauxhall Corsa On the 12th April this year for around £2690 and it had a short MOT (ending in June 2018) On the online advertisement it was labeled as 'in perfect working condition' and said that it has passed all of their internal checks. When I went to view the car on the 6th April (it was late; 45 minutes before they close, as I came straight from work) the car was parked between three other cars so I couldn't get in it and have a quick test drive nor was I offered this, I was told I could start the engine and that's about it. I had to put a £100 deposit down which I did and that was refunded to me in full on the day I bought the car - I was offered this or one years warranty - I declined this as I was relying on that £100 for fuel and they had given me a free 30 days warranty. Me being a first time driver I had no idea what questions to ask or who to bring with me...I'd fallen in love with the car so decided to buy it. The day I bought the car they hadn't cleaned it inside or out, no fuel had been added to it and was in the red zone, no screen wash etc - they hadn't even moved it for me I had to wait for them to move the rest of the other cars so I could get into it. Driving around in the car was fine, a week after I bought it I heard knocking but I had no idea what it was and it didn't happen again, so I just left it. I had my partner and his family check it out and couldn't find anything obviously wrong. The car again seemed fine, had a few scratches here and there but I didn't mind as it was my first car. I had my MOT yesterday (10/5/18) and was called to say my car had failed it and was dangerous drive because (the following are from my MOT certificate): -Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases front - Exhaust emissions lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits -Suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint offside Front Lower This was jibberish to me I had no idea what is was until the mechanic told me. He also said I was lucky to not have crashed yet! I was absolutely distraught, my car was on finance and I didn't know if I was able to afford the repairs. I called Kingstanding Cars and told them what had happened, they asked when my 30 day warranty ended and me being flustered couldn't remember and thought it'd already ended. I was then informed that their manager was on holiday for the next week and I had to wait. I got back home and double checked when my warranty ended, it was in two days. I called them back and told them this, I immediately got a very angry and frustrated man on the phone telling me that this only covered engine and gear box faults - I was NOT informed of this and it 100% was not on my receipt like they later said it was. I told the man on the phone exactly what was wrong with the car and he proceeded to tell me that it had passed all of their checks and that it was my fault the car was like this and they couldn't do anything about it - he was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He then said that I should have asked for the pre MOT that they did before I got the car - again I was NOT OFFERED THIS!! He then said 'we don't tell you that we offer this you should already know' I'M A FIRST TIME DRIVER!! I have no idea what you offer and it wasn't advertised anywhere that they offer it. I asked them if there was anything they could do, they then said they've got to wait until their manager was back but they'd 'try and get hold of him'. I couldn't wait a whole week for this! I asked him 'well what do you expect me to do' he simply said 'well you should've bought a mechanic with you' ... WHAT?!? Not everyone knows a mechanic i'm afraid!! And I doubt a mechanic would miss out on a whole days pay to come and check to see if ONE car is suitable to drive. HOW DARE THEY sell a dangerous vehicle to anyone and tell them it's in perfect condition, and at £2690!! ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!! I'm disgusted that they would sell faulty cars to people...it could have been a new mother/pregnant woman or elderly person in the car and it could have caused them to crash! Will NOT be using this company again and I advise EVERYONE to steer clear from it!!

Jacob Smith in response to Sold me a faulty car

You should ask my dad about king-standing cars, sold him a car for me, which had the air bag wiring loom cut, Death trap on wheels, Had to bring in trading standards for a Corsa FT63 AHX . . Every time he phoned the manager he was on holiday in Pakistan. Plus the warranty they sell you are worthless . He paid £3650 for the car, the repair bill for a new loom was £3850.. Shouldn't be allowed to trade. The warranty company is only interested in protecting the dealer, Another £99 wasted. Auto-trader should vet the dealers they allow to sell cars . Walk away.

Can you get in touch please? I've had major issues too and would love to know what you did afterwards to get this resolved?
