BLUE CITROEN C4 CACTUS VK15 WMM - I previously owned this and I dealt with Jacob who was at first really nice and helpful. I also test drove the car for about 20 mins and there was nothing obvious. I bought this on the 15th of July and whilst driving it back to Scotland via Sheffield I heard a knocking noise and had a couple of lights pop up on the dashboard, I spoke with Jacob who was happy for me to drive it up to Scotland and have it looked at. Once in Scotland I had my local garage check the car and they advised there was multiple faults with the car including issues with the exhaust - which was an advisory on 2023 MOT but not on the 2024 MOT, I understand that legally they don’t have to add advisory’s but it’s really just common decency. I was advised it would cost around £1/2K to fix (£3500 including all the other faults) and I would’ve never bought the car if I knew this. There were also other faults with the engine that had to be further investigated, I was advised the rear registration plate is an automatic fail. I can admit that the garage I took it to potentially over exaggerated some faults but the major faults were not a lie. I relayed this all back to Jacob and he advised that it must been incorrect and wasn’t ready to pay out, which is understandable. He wanted to see the vehicle however being in Scotland it’s just hassle. I advised I wanted to reject the sale (Consumer Act 2015) however Jacob declined. I then went via my finance company who helped me reject the car,. I did advise Jacob of this and was trying to put me off this by saying it would take a long time and that they had “their points” to why it’s not faulty. My finance company arranged an independent inspection to take place on my car and a report was sent to my finance company which stated Kinsall Green sold a faulty vehicle to me. Kinsall Green made it pretty difficult and weren’t very forthcoming which makes sense as it would cost them almost the same amount to fix it as it did to buy it. I also have so much evidence that this happened if anyone needs proof. The car is now back with them and I just noticed that they have put it up for sale. The car hasn’t been with them a week and I would be very surprised if they had fixed all the problems. I’m writing this review as I wouldn’t want someone to buy the car and then have the exact same issues as me. I would recommend looking at previous MOT history on DVLA which will show you the exhaust fault. I’m sure others have had great experiences with them but for me it was just a nightmare for 3 months and I want to help others avoid that.
Philip Taylor who is the owner of this company is linked to other car companies. Just like this one they will scam you, sell unsafe cars and not refund your money and falsify info. Do not buy from them. Do your research and don’t believe the fake hood reviews.

Purchased a car and was told it would be services and valeted before collection, get it home to see a chip in the window screen what apparently wasn’t picked up on MOT, battery was completely dead the next morning and the car wouldn’t start, oil is black and inside was filthy.
Purchased a car from here for my girlfriend about six weeks ago and on face value it seemed great but over the past six weeks there have been a myriad of issues with the car. The battery needs replacing, the wipers don't work, the brakes squeal horribly when the pedal is pressed, the coolant tank was empty, and the car wasn't in the best state when we picked it up, especially the engine bay. The garage has been decent to deal with, the manager sent me the money I spent on coolant and an alignment but overall, the car was not fit to be sold in all honesty and the website makes some bold claims such as "At Kinsall Green Cars we don't just sell cars, we do everything possible to get you on the road with your perfect vehicle. Why not come along to our dealership in Tamworth? We look forward to meeting you!" This just isn't the case. If looking to buy from here, make sure you thoroughly check, and test drive the car and do not pay a penny until everything is done.

Ive purchased 2 cars from this garage,Liz the sales lady is great she will do all she can to find you a car that's suitable for youre needs,im still driving my Nissan Juke 13 plate it's been really reliable motor,im hanging on to it for a while yet,but I will be back,thanks for great service .
All went well when looking at the car I was interested in and I picked it up a week after viewing it. Later the same day the low battery warning came on so I emailed the dealer. Not a particularly helpful reply received so followed up with a battery test the next day which showed the battery was ready to fail. Emailed and phoned again to advise of this but real lack of interest in resolving the issue - see how it goes for a couple of days and let us know was the response. The battery failed later that day so I replaced it obviously and that was the end of the dealers interest in me as a customer. Very disappointed, so exercise caution if buying here.
I was initially really nervous as a 17 year old female purchasing my first car. They were all really helpful and went through loads of information to match the right car to me. Things like insurance, tax, future repairs etc that I hadnt even thought of. Im really happy and have recommended them to my friends. Thankyou.

Phoned Kinsall Green Garage a couple of days in advance of wishing to see a car advertised for sale. Would have therefore expected the car to at least have more than 7 miles of petrol in the tank. Customer service from the lady was nice, but the overall experience from the whole garage was not customer oriented. Pointing out a few areas on the car which were not great and being met with a dismissive comment from the older gentleman who took us for a test-drive meant there’s room to improve their customer service, if that’s what they wish to do. Subsequently purchased a car from a different garage.

We purchased a car from Kinsall Green Garage after having lots of recommendations from friends that have bought cars previously. Really friendly staff, knowledgable, approachable and excellent value for money. Never had a problem.
No after service at all I found 2 faults day after buying. wing mirror wouldn’t demist and other would not fold in so stay well away from Kinsall Green Garage.
