I've owned many new cars from Audi, BMW, Mercedes - as well as several non "premium" brands. Without doubt, the very worst dealer experience by a 'country mile' has been with BMW - specifically KNIGHTS BMW in Staffordshire. Their service is consistently appalling, they treat their repeat customers with contempt, and if you need something from them that doesn't involve any immediate revenue, they are simply not interested. Having owned 4 brand new BMWs in the last 8 years, KNIGHTS BMW is the single reason why I will never own another.
Exactly a year ago now I was on the market for a new car, I had a short list and started with Jaguar Stoke, having arranged a "Test Drive" in an F-Pace, what a truly terrible experience, from the young salesman with his dinner still over his face to his confrontational attitude from the start, they had one F-Pace in the showroom which was locked with no keys so out to the car park in the pouring rain to sit it a customers car, just sat there looking at one another! No offer of a test drive so left without going back to the showroom - dreadful, how can they get it that wrong! Never-the less, next morning undeterred I headed to Knights BMW with my wife, from the minute we walked through the door the whole experience was totally different, polite greeting, left to browse until we were ready to discuss the various options with John Williams who proved to be really helpful, informative and relaxed with our questions. Finally we purchased a new X3 and exchanged my wife's Z4 (bought from Knights the year before) for a new Z4 (because it was outside and a nice colour!). A year on the service support for some minor glitches with the Sat Nav has been nothing but excellent with any questions and concerns dealt with superbly efficiently by Steve Heath in the Service Department. Lastly, both cars are great to drive, Mel loves the Z4, in particular as it is auto, my X3 is so precise and both cars have been pretty well faultless. Excellent all round!

I walked into knights bmw not looking like your your usual bmw buyer. (Jeans, trainers, acdc t. Shirt.) Where I was greeted by salesman Scott Cooke. Nothing was too much trouble for this young man. After selecting a car and test driving a 135i . ( in which 3 cars had to be moved out of the showroom to get it out). I fell in love with it. I'm now the proud owner of it and living the dream! Excellent service. Excellent advice. Thanks again Scott!
Spoke to the garage on numerous occasions about the car and was told it came from bmw`s head office and was in a (as new condition)I travelled a total of 340miles (round trip) and has soon as I approached the car you could see it had been painted ,on closer inspection you could even see the over spray from the repair. The used car sales manager eventually even had to admit it was a bad paint job and the car would be rejected and sent back .I only wish I had taken notice of ALL THE BAD REVIEWS about this garage and its staff. In my opinion a horrible place to do business with(no doubt I`ll get the usual response from a manager)but will be complaining direct with BMW for what its worth and will spend a few hours on the various BMW forums .NOT A VERY NICE PLACE.

Delays after delays don't did not contact me always left for me to contact them.. only care about the money and it the service they provide. I do not recommend Knights BMW North Staffordshire.
They wanted paying in full for car before collection and before I had seen remedial work carried out. Then realised perhaps they had priced the car wrong and sold it to someone else while holding my deposit - I hadn't been well and initial delivery was delayed as waiting on parts which I was not advised off, though was told if I didn't reply they could sell the car for £3,000 more. I do not recommend Knights BMW.
Money grabbers. Pathetic service. Do not be fooled by their suits and the cup of coffee they offer. After a very heavy hasty invoice we collected our car from their service dept. The very next day the car wouldn’t start. I rang them and asked for the same guy I was dealing with, and they gave me excuses that he's not there. If they smell a problem, they will not come to the phone. After several phone calls, the car was booked in again. We are advised that it would cost us £1400. I said no. I asked them why this was not spotted in the previous check and—no surprise—their response was that it’s a new problem. So all four injectors were dead within 24 hrs. And it doesn’t end there. Now they said they would charge me again for the time they had spent looking into the fault. Yes, this is a BMW dealership we are talking about. Knights North Staffordshire.
I purchased a used car from this dealer, what can i say other than i got a 5 star service! Scott in used cars sales was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He made my car buying experience a pleasue. Ive used other BMW dealers before and never would have given them 5 stars.
Really good overall, I would recommend them. The car was really good value for money and was in pretty good condition. I have had no issues with it at all up to now ans the guys are the dealership were really helpful and friendly.
