First off, they lie in the adverts. Saying the tires are perfect condition when they are road legal limit. Car I bought had: *Worn tires and brakepads (£200) *Damaged DPF pressure sensor (£300) *3 glow plugs needs replacing (some plugs with sensors, costs about £100 each) *A/C condenser has a hole, doesn't work (£450 to replace) And the list will probably keep on growing. Guys sell lemon cars like nobody.

The day after buying the car off of Lakeside Cars the engine cuts out as I'm driving. Said the problem wasn't under warranty and only offered to pay a quarter of the repair cost. At this point I had gotten a full service so decided to front the cost and keep the car. It still took him a month to pay what he promised.

Lakeside Motors in Bedford were awful and extremely rude my boyfriend has had an awful experience. Would not recommend anyone go here! We live an hour away, and half way home from picking it up and driving it home the check engine light comes on. Take it to a garage near home and theres a fault with the sensors in the exhaust and needs replacing. Called garage up, we were given a month warranty only on the gearbox and engine upon purchase and he refused to pay to fix the issue as it was 'too expensive' and said he would get quotes. 3 days later we call back and they won't pay us to get it fixed properly even with a warranty. The part alone is £130 not including labour and they said all they are giving us is £70 and that was that. Complete con artists.

My partner and I bought a car form Lakeside Motors and one month and a half later it broke down in the middle of the road. We asked him for some papers and information we needed for the repair and he said he had never sold that car to us. We are totally disappointed with the car and the service of this man, not trustable at all.
