I rang to arrange a test drive at Lancaster Jaguar in Sevenoaks. They couldn't offer a time for a week or so. Having consulted their management they finally agreed a date a fortnight ahead and they suggested I ring beforehand? I. rang the day before and, after a long delay, they said that they hadn't got the test car available after all. They hadn't bothered to tell me this so if I hadn't rung them I would have made a significant journey for nothing. They couldn't care less about their customers. Avoid.

I couldn’t agree more, I rate them the worst garage I’ve dealt with! I had exactly the same problem, their customer service is lamentable to say the least! I had to fight to buy my Jaguar XKR- after making an appointment and driving 35 miles , they rang me when 10 minutes away to say could I make an appointment another day as someone else had just turned up and the car wouldn’t be there!! After agreeing to buy the car, they messed up the finance, the car wasn’t properly prepared, no spare wheel repair kit , despite being told there was, the total process was one of non returned calls , emails not replied to, They just always too busy with someone else , who seems to more important to you! More recently their handling of a corrosion attempted claim, left me with a very low opinion of both Jaguar and Lancaster. Despite having a 6 year corrosion warranty they turned down a clear case of corrosion, despite the workshop confirming it was just that! I complained to Jaguar at Goodwood, who were horrified, who advised me to get on to their customer relations. I took the car to another Main dealer, who advised , in their opinion, the car had been involved in a serious accident and repainted, and therefore the car had to be returned to Lancaster, they felt it was a valid claim! raising doubts in my mind that despite being told the car had not been involved in accident when I bought it, is worrying. After having another go at Lancaster, In fairness, they have dealt with the corrosion, but only because I’ve created merry Hell!! Even now , there’s no attempt to make the customer feel important, in fact I very much feel they couldn’t give a dam! And that’s from the dealer principle!
I cannot simply thank Lancaster Jaguar enough. They are professional, trustworthy, keep you up-to-date with lovely videos instead of the 'run of the mill' email! I'm loving my new car now, and I would recommend them to anyone who was looking for their next car! Having been fobbed off by the local BMW and Mercedes garages, they looked after my needs. Many thanks to Paul Thomson who really tailored the car for me and tempered everything with humour, making it more of a treat and less of a chore when buying a new car.
