I purchased a used Aygo from Rayleigh Steven Eagell back in April and have never experienced such poor treatment from a company before. I will include all of the issues I've had with the company, who have been shocking when it comes dealing with my issues. - the delivery of the car was delayed due to issues on their side - the car specs did not match what was advertised on the Toyota website (lack of parking sensors and touch screen system) and the car paint work being not as described. - the petrol gauge was broken upon receipt, which causing me to break down a week after purchase - when picking the car up from the dealership after the petrol gauge was fixed, I had to wait for approx an hour whilst someone located the keys to take the car out of the garage. - This car is now due a service and MOT, 2 months after purchasing it, when this should have been done before delivery. - The air conditioning is not working - There is a high pitched squeak coming from the wheels when driving in 2nd and 3rd gear. - After multiple attempts at speaking to the general manager Ramiz, he had "arranged" for the car to be picked up today at 10am to be MOT'd and serviced. No one arrived. - After calling them at 10:40 to find out why no one has turned up, I've been told there are no courtesy cars available and that the car will be picked up tomorrow. - The car got picked up the following day and a courtesy car was received (one small positive!), however that was almost a week ago and I haven't had any updates, even after calling 3 times (I keep getting told they'll call me back....) No one at the company cares, no one calls you back when they say you will. I would highly recommend that you stay clear from this company.

I walking in to Rayleigh branch handed over my car and spoke to the lady with glass about VAC & WASH, she straight way said “it only depends on man power we have and only VAC in the front” this is not I was expecting from Toyota. Around 16:15 Mr Lewis from service team phoned me to inform that car is not gonna be ready today (no valid reason was given) and it will be ready on 28th March around 14:00. He will call me to update when to pick it up. I was trying to call the branch from 14:00 until 18:00 no body answer the phone. However, my call got connected to the call centre. She told me that she I’ll ask some to give me a call back with out asking my details. This is a shame. On 29th GOOD Friday I been to the branch @08:30 to check what exactly going on with my car. This branch was shut until 10:00am cuz of bank holiday. Thanks for the gentle man from the sales team, he step forward to help me out in this situation because service team is off for 4days. At last, I got my car back with sales invoice of £370.00 with out my service paper. When I asked where is the service paper, he said he doesn’t know anything because he is from sales team. This is my work car and I am Self employed. Because of your internal issues, I didn’t go to work for 3 days. Who is responsible for my loss ? I don’t know what exactly happen with Toyota Rayleigh branch. They let me down and lost my trust. I’ll take this matter to this next possible level. It a shame!

Unable to book a service and MOT on the same day so had to have two different waiting appointments. Arrived for MOT and was told it would be 60-90 minutes. When I booked I was told it would be 45-60 minutes. I waited for 90 minutes and asked for an update and was told they have a back log and the MOT hadn’t been started yet and would be at least another 45 minutes. Speaking to another customer she had a 5 hour and 11 minute wait for her MOT to be completed! Hope I’m not kept waiting that long! Avoid Rayleigh Weir Toyota if you can!!
Don’t use this company unless you are willing to be lied to, mislead, ignored, the list goes on! I’ve had nothing but trouble for the past 5 weeks. They are incompetent, negligent, untrustworthy and most importantly have breached agreements. I will be taking this further, absolutely shocking.

Steven Eagle Rayleigh must be the worst Toyota dealers going nothing like lookers . Took my 1 year old hilux for a Toyota recall and the week beforehand had 2 calls from customer services to make sure i was coming . Upon arrival they took my truck to another workshop somewhere on the estate and i sat around for over an hour only to chase them up how long and was told they cant get internet connection to download the recall programme .i thought we were in modern times all businesses had internet lol

I brought a 30 grand car and needed a dash cam fitted the service centre overcharged for it Toyota Rayleigh have now lost a customer for good now
Really great service. I came to collect my car and was impressed how quickly and efficiently Simon had done the handover, despite me being late for the appointment to collect. He didn't keep me waiting and made sure I was looked after whilst he finished up with his previous customer. Got an excellent deal on the car I bought and a really good handover. Would recommend this dealership highly

We bought a used car from your salesman Simon at your Rayleigh branch on Wednesday 21/04/21. When we took the car for a test drive the fuel gauge was literally on empty, when completing the paperwork for buying the car Simon said that he’d make sure the car had a full tank of petrol upon collecting on Wednesday 28/04/21. My wife had a phone calls from Simon both Monday & Tuesday trying to sell her insurance. I rang your Rayleigh branch Tuesday afternoon to speak to Simon but was told he wasn’t in the branch so I spoke to a young lady & told her we didn’t want insurance as we were staying with our current provider. Obviously Simon didn’t like the fact we didn’t take him up on the insurance because when my wife collected the car the fuel gauge was just above empty, just enough for her to get home. He also mentioned the car was free to tax but when my wife taxed it yesterday she had to pay £30. Not happy, won’t be returning & won’t be referring anybody to Steven Eagell.

I have no issue with the vehicle I bought from Lancaster Toyota in Rayleigh, but the sales executive was untruthful. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
