Agreed to buy a car that matched the description and photos. Left a deposit and went back a few days later so car could get a new MOT. Told car had sailed through MOT so paid up and brought car home. Looking over what I thought was a bargain I noticed a large dent on the tailgate. Phoned garage to complain but they insisted the dent had always been there. It Hadn't. I checked out his online photos when he advertised the car and the tailgate is unmarked. I asked him to show me on the photos where the damage is but a week later he has still not replied. I also needed to use the windscreen wipers but they had no effect. When I changed them, the old ones were split, frayed and useless. Went online to check car MOT history and found that it hadn't sailed through at all. It failed on the windscreen wipers and then passed the same day. Don't know how he managed to get it passed without replacing wiper blades but he did.
