I explained to the dealer that I can't get over until the following week, but I'd be happy to leave a deposit as long as the Peugeot 206 was as described, he seemed very honest and and answered all my questions, I took my son with me who is a mechanic and it was a relief that all was great when I collected the car, I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine bargain!!

I want to emphasize very strongly that the previous review from YOUBEWARNED is absolutely accurate with regard to LANE Auto's BOLTON my friend recently bought a opel astra estate. under the consumer rights act, if a purchaser has been mislead or the description of the vehicle condition is misrepresented then the buyer can return the vehicle within 30 DAYS of purchase for a full refund. The salesman from Lane Auto's sold this vehicle with a full 12 month MOT, when in actual fact, the car should have failed the MOT, I had this authenticated from another MOT testing station. The exhaust was blowing so badly that it would never have passed the emissions test, and 2 tyres had chord showing through the tread. Lane auto's completely ignore your consumer right's and once they have your money, you or the vehicle you have bought from them, are of no interest what so ever....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.....Buy from Lane autos at your peril.

I came to Lane Autos looking for a cheapish runabout for the wife and when we found the car we were looking for via Autotrader, the price looked too good to be true so I had some reservations. Absolutely no pressure sale, just given the keys and able to check and drive the car on my own (well with my brother in law who's a car mechanic), and it turned out to be exactly as described. It wasn't perfect by any means because it did have some age related marks which can be sorted with a bit of elbow grease but mechanically the car is sound which to me is all that matters. I bought a Polo and to be honest it was so cheap I didn't have the cheek to haggle the price because similar cars I'd been looking at elsewhere were costing a lot more. I would definitely use Lane Autos again.

I purchased a Citroen C3 from Lane Autos in Bolton and the saleman was very helpful and no pressure was put up on me to buy the car is as it was described in the advert. I am very happy with the car it's clean and tidy.
