Went to look at a ford fiesta for sale at Lane Autos with the cash and the real possibility of buying the vehicle but after my experience I'm happy that I walked away I was doing simple diagnostic checks at first on the car I ask if it was ok to do this and he seemed ok with it but then he became impatient saying what are you doing u just sitting there I tried to explain that I was just checking the vehicle properly before I think of Buying I Can't see what his problem was them he became more impatient and sarcastic/rude if there's problem it would come up on the engine warning light then went to say I don't like you putting the diagnostic check on the vehicle it might break lol I try to explain that it shows up any Problems and The fact that it's a cat C who wouldn't do the extra checks o Yeah 3 owners not 1 and also on top of that there was no car history/paper work showing the repairs of the damage of the write-off claim suspicious! so I just thought at that point handing back the keys thanks for the attitude best thing to work away I ain't saying it's a bad guy/place to buy a car from what I am saying has all the signs to me pointing that way maybe he was having a bad day I don't know but I thought if you wanted to sell the car that he would be except that I would want to thoroughly check the vehicle test drive ask questions but seemed not interested with that I wasn't just going to handover cash without checking my advice personally I wouldn't go there again or recommend Lane Autos.

I bought an Vauxhall Astra on the end of November 2016 and I've used the car almost every day since then, including some extreme trips on snow and all over Scotland (even though I live in Manchester). The car is just amazing, no issues at all and drives very nicely. Only negative aspect I could point out is the fact that the car came without the carpets, but apart from that, 5 stars!! Additionally, I was given a ride from Bolton train station to the Dealership and the whole deal was done smoothly. I would recommend Lane Autos to everyone that is looking for a good, affordable car and enjoy a very good service. Kind regards!

Bought a great little motor from Lane Autos as a run around for my other half, it was exactly as Scott has described, great condition inside and out! I called late one evening and Scott arranged for me to view the car early the following morning :-) We were left alone to view the car and take it for a test drive, no hassle! Great service, great car, great company, great guy! Thank you again from me and my little family (who now don't have a half hour walk to nursery, the park or the grandparents! ha ha)

Both me and my son have bought cars off Scott and no complaints decent cars not over priced will recommended to friends top man and decent trader.

I rang the number for the dealer at 8.00 am. I assumed I'd either get through or no-one would be in the office yet."I'm interested in the Astra you have advertised". The reply came, gruffly..."I'm not interested in doing anything at half seven, eight o clock in the bloody morning" and he put the phone down. Surely this can't be Scott, the general owner mentioned in so many other reviews here. I tried twice later and couldn't get through, but was warned that "this phone call may be recorded". Good. Listen to yourself. If you don't want to do business at 8.00 am, don't answer the phone.

i met scott for the first time on tuesday as i saw the car i was interested in.nothing was too much trouble him...he came across as a genuine caring person only interested in giving you good customer service and giving you the right price for your car.in this world of high pressure sales....scott is at the other end of the scale,from the moment you meet him...you know you are under no pressure,as leaves you to decide.its very refreshing to know that there are still car dealerships that do care about the customer.....and scott is one of them.....i would recommend this guy to anyone to buy a car off....nice cars at an affordable price....well done.
