I BROUGHT A CAR FROM CARMAX LEICESTER IN 2022,CAR WENT BAD,TOOK THEM TO COURT,I WAS ALLOCATED 4K,THEY REFUSED TO PAY AND WHEN BAILIFFS WENT TO THE GARAGE,I WAS INFORMED THEY ARE CLOSED OR CHANGE NAME,I WANT PEOPLE TO DESIST FTOM DEALING WITH CARMAX LEICESTER BECAUSE THEY ARE A FRAUD.

Brought an 2010 MPV from Leicester Car Shop with an add posted on eBay stating "runs and drives lovely". Txt to confirm what the advert stated was true and the response was "as per advertisement" which means nothing wrong, right! Booked a train, went up and brought the MPV with 28 days warranty for "the engine". Drove home, no problem, over the next week their is a heavy rattling coming from the engine and the car wouldn't start when it got cold that week. Drivers side window went down and get stuck coming back up. So the engine needs the auxiliary belt tensioner, a set of glow plugs and new window regulator. I contacted them and spoke directly to one of the owners who told me that he would order the parts from Euro Car Parts and get them shipped to my local for pick up. I am a mechanic and can sort the problems myself. The cost is abt £150 for the parts. Been trying to contact them for a week with no response to txt or voice messages. Not very honorable people, avoid them.

Avoid. I am trying to get a refund under the 30 day Consumer Act 2015. They are refusing. They have sold me a car that is dangerous and unfit for road. Their previous director was taken to court for selling dangerous cars. These guys are not only committing a crime they are endangering lives. DO BOT BUY FROM THEM.

AVOID AT ALL COST They sold me 635d bmw sold as perfectly good working vehicle. When I made payment the lying sneaky misleading people sent me a receipt 5 minutes later as sold as spares or repairs after I left the building. Then the next day edited the ebay listing. Illegal boys ebay keeps a digital image of everything prime example of discusting artists. Since reading this review I have been subject to almost threating behaviour as well as name calling accusations and for some reason digs at my wife....

Booked appointment to see car and rang again 20min before we arrived as requested. Car wasn't ready when we arrived and blocked in by 7 other cars! They were really rude and unhelpful. When we asked them to prepare to get the car out as we had traveled 50 miles to see the car and we wanted to test drive it in the day light, they became awkward and frankly aggressive. Did not feel like customer! Would not buy car from them. We were serious & genuine cash buyers!

Everything was fine at first. I found a car that I loved, they told me everything was fine with the car, that there were no lights on the dash and that it had just seen serviced and would have a new MOT. So then I waited 2 days for them to put 2 new tires on so it could pass it’s MOT. Which is fine cause who wants a bodged car right? Finally the day comes where I can see it, they know I’m driving an hour to see it and they have told me multiple times nothings wrong with the car. Because why would I make a 2 hour journey if I wasn’t sure the car was perfect and working? I’m given the keys to look round the car… no new tires had been put on, they were all worn past the legal limit. I get in the car, soon as I turn the engine on, the engine management light comes on and the glow plug light. THEN the service message pops up! After them telling me it had just been serviced and there was nothing wrong with it. The car was covered in dog hair and dirt and hadn’t been cleaned. I checked the oil which was apparently changed, it was completely black. When I brought this up to them, they tried to bluff me in saying oil goes black straight away in diesel cars. I’ve owned diesel cars, I’m not stupid. So I gave him the keys back and left very upset that I’d just had to do a 2 hour journey to see a broken car and that I’d been lied to about multiple things. Bearing in mind I have autism, when I get my hopes up with something and get let down, I have a break down, which I did on the way home. I then get a text over a week later saying are you still looking for a car as it’s been fixed? LOL. I should’ve read the reviews before even considering to buy a car from here. All the reviews are awful. They are scam artists and a waste of time. Please don’t bother wasting your time you’re better off going else where.

Just pick up my new to me car, Shabs is a very nice guy ,went out of his way to get me a deal, had a test drive no problem ,coffee ok.

I had to return the car I bought, The guys were very understanding and friendly, and willing to help. Not at all like the other reviews left here had said, I imagine if you are friendly and polite, you get back what you give. So if you are contacting them in an argumentative manner, then I would expect you'd get the same back. Service- I would recommend giving them a try as they are friendly and helpful, both delivering and picking up the vehicle was very stressfree. Thank you for an easy transaction, and being understanding- sorry it didn't work out, but excellent customer service.

Disgusting service, rude. Only had car 2 weeks and it’s not right. Asked for a refund to be told ‘No chance’. Avoid at all costs and keep your money in your pocket. These guys are absolute cowboys. They also gave £120 for my old car saying they would auction it for scrap as it’s not in a great condition and has lots of advisory’s to then see it for sale and now sold for £700. Unbelievable considering the condition the car was in. The car bought was also filthy and clearly not checked as certain things have had to be replaced straight away such as bulbs and wipers. Zero stars if I could. Can’t stress enough to Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
