Absolutely Sound …. Straight talking and keen pricing. No joking...but 95% of motor dealers are shysters.... these are two of the good guys. Totally recommended... and Top Motors.

Initially we were happy with how Leo's Motors were keen to let us test drive a number of cars and when we had chosen one we were not too put off when it was mentioned that a couple of minor things needed doing as we were reassured they would be completed when we picked up the car. One of these was just a replacement gear knob, but actually when collecting the car this part was not available and actually was not delivered to us until two months after we purchased the car. As a precaution, and as this was a second family car, we had the car checked over ourselves, although Leo's state that their vehicles are checked at a reputable garage before sale. It was discovered that the tread on the two front tyres was so significantly below the legal minimum tread depth that we could have been liable to a £5000 fine. What's more, the brake pads and discs needed replacing as they were metal on metal. Leo's Motors initially were apologetic and said they were keen to reimburse us for the expense we had gone to and we were really pleased with this. We received reimbursement for the tyres relatively quickly (although later than they told us we could expect the money), but in regards to the brakes, we have been told on 3 separate occasions to expect the money but then nothing appears. It has now been over 2 months and we are still awaiting the refund, but having read other reviews and seen the refunds Leo's Motors have promised other customers (of which there seem to be a few) we are very unlikely to get the money. I would suggest using a car dealership that does not have the financial commitments this firm already appears to have because, if the worst should happen, they do not appear to be in a position to rectify the situation.

On a thoroughly horrible rainy day I was looking for a new car, found a perfect little motor in the Honda Jazz, Receptionist Kelsey did a fantastic job of sorting me out with test drive, jumpstart where battery had just run down a little from being stood and a lovely latte to warm us up while sorting all the payments and paperwork. This car is a beautiful driver and I would definitely deal with this family run business again and have no hesitation in recommending Leos Motors UK to anyone and everyone else, who doesn’t like a friendly and affordable business.

We purchased a Vauxhall Astra from Leos Motors UK in February this year. The car had only been in our possession for 2 days before it broke down. The company recovered the vehicle and took it back to base for repairs. Our car was in their possession for 2 weeks before we could fetch it back. When we inspected the car there was obvious damage to the front of the vehicle, when we spoke to Leo’s they denied all knowledge. We received an email from our insurance company that the car had been in a accident with another car miles away from where the dealership is based. I have multiple emails and texts from this company denying that anything had happened with this car Upon rejecting the vehicle we were told that it needed to be taken back to the dealership and that money would be paid into our account. After weeks of waiting we were in constant communication with trading standards. We eventually instructed a debt collecting agency. We have been paid some money back but not the full outstanding.

Hello Emma, Glad you least got them to pay something.. We been waiting since December 2018 for our refund.. and by next week after fee's for my hearing date it will be whopping 4.5k they need to pay! not to mention the debt collections fee's added... its truly shocking that when they have sworn they will not let you down on paying you.. yeah they meant they pay me when i retire! I have to say this, they defended my claim, stated nothing wrong with car but below they said there was a bung wham bam! also sent a emailing accepting responsibility for owing the money. so you see.. the court case is just 1 massive delaying tactic as i have no clue how they could win it..

Hi, have you sorted your issue out with Leo’s motors? I have paid them £4000 and not received a car or my money back. I presume there are plenty of people in a similar situation to me and would want to do something about it?
Family run business with a friendly attitude. Left us to get drive the Rover 25 and make our own decision. Even though the car was only £995 we haggled and got 12 months RAC and 30 days guarantee. Small couple of problems but what you expect from a 15 year car! All sorted once posted parts. Thank you Leos Motors.
A very bad experience at leos motors !! I bought a car from leos motors ltd with many faults. When I saw the car had the engine light on that they promised to repair and in two days I will deliver my car at home that is just a sensor to change. They brought me the car after 7 days with the light off the car but the car it accelerated by itself and the smoke came out of the engine so I took it to Vauxhall Birmingham to repair it just that there I found another problem at the car, timming was badly repaired. When leos motors repaired the car they broke all the plastic clips, the timming cover was changed, the engine cover was broken and the engine was very hot (107 degrees). I do not recommend !!

Brought a gorgeous Street ka in December from this garage. Sadly the engine management light is on and its the cat converter which needs replacing which I have been quoted at £240. Worse still it started making a noise underneath and lost all of the power steering fluid. Just had a quote of nearly £700 to fix it. All of the pipes are rotten. Thats nearly £1000 which is more than the car is worth! I will now scrap it. Can't do anything about it because I brought it sold as seen but I would like to have at least had it a for a while before I scrapped it. The strange thing is the mot hadn't long been done when I brought it. I will just put it down to experience

Hi, have you sorted your issue out with Leo’s motors? I have paid them £4000 and not received a car or my money back. I presume there are plenty of people in a similar situation to me and would want to do something about it? A car purchased from a dealer should be ‘fit for purpose’ not ‘sold as seen’ so they are liable for up to 6 months after purchasing the car under the consumer rights act. So if a car develops a fault within months of purchase then the dealer have a Legal duty to resolve it, unless they can prove the fault was not there when they sold you the car
We bought our Kuga from Leo’s Motors UK, Jamie and lee were very friendly and helpful on purchasing. Once I’d taken the car home I noticed it had not been MOT’d I called Leo’s and they arranged for me to take it to a garage more local which they paid for without hesitation . It needed new breaks they ordered them and again had them delivered to local garage and paid for fitting. A week or so later the car developed a very bad diesel leak which caused me to have few days off work and a taxi a few times, it did take a while to get back to Leo’s however when it was arranged they came with a recovery van and courtesy car they fixed the leak (so far so good) without question and seemed genuinely happy to fix the fault they even offered to pay for the taxi I needed for work! I spoke with Jamie mostly and can’t fault him at all did his best to sort everything as quick as possible, it’s not ideal I’ve have problems with a new purchase BUT these are 2nd hand cars so the fact they fixed every single fault my car developed is great. The only down side I’d say sometimes I found it hard to get in touch with them but other than that I’ve not got a bad word

Many thanks Kelly could not agree more we are not perfect but try our best we are addressing a few issues communication because we are poor at this due to high sales and a small family team, secondly finances on the occasion we have to buy back a vehicle I have approached the government for help on finances so we have the funds to pay customers back when required immediately I'm hoping this will solve the negative reviews because all this comes down to is money and being small we do not carry a large safety net that I hope will change in the near future many thanks for all your support regards lee x
