I purchased a Peugeot 508SW from Lidingo Cars Ltd (53-55 Waterloo Rd, London NW2 7TS) on 27 February 2020 for £3,990.00. On the drive home the car broke down and needed a new fuel injector fitted which cost £349 to fix. Lidingo Cars would only cover £250 of that. I drove the car the following week, but the semi-automatic gearbox was concerning me as it was very jerky when crawling in traffic. The final straw was when I went to drive the car the following weekend and it wouldn’t go into gear, neither in manual nor automatic mode. I therefore decided to return it for a refund (less £190 admin fee). The V5C registration certificate was given to the Lidingo Cars owner to update the ownership back to him. On 20 April 2021 I received a Notice of Enforcement letter for a penalty charge incurred on 5 August 2020 issued by London Borough of Brent. I can see on the Gov.uk website that the car was sold again on 27 September 2020. Therefore, the owner of Lidingo Cars Ltd never updated the ownership back to himself after I returned the car and before he sold it again, thus leaving me with the hassle of challenging the penalty charge and updating the DVLA of his unlawful actions. He has also deceived the current owner of the car probably because he didn’t want to explain why someone owned the car for a week and then returned it. I gave Lidingo Cars the opportunity to fix the ownership record of the car and pay the penalty charge before I posted this – he ignored me. DO NOT TRUST LIDINGO CARS.
Sold a car to a mother of two small children knowing the gearbox was damaged. The heat shield had been removed altogether to prolong the cars running. After a years worth of emails AND a lawsuit that lidingo did their best to avoid i STILL have this useless car sitting in my drive. Ny guess us they do this on a regular basis and know which loopholes to exploit. Most important - they will not honor the consumer goods act and even if you can prove the fwult was pre-existing (which we did with a specialist report) they wiill not give you a full refund. Avoid at all costs.
Bought a mini from what seemed to be a genuine salesman who promised me the car had gone through a service and MOT. The engine light was on and he promised to get his mechanic to fix it before we purchased it. We came back, the light was off and that was it. Within days the light was back on but driving ok. The dealer offered free 12 month AA warranty so we accepted. After four weeks the car started jolting occasionally when changing gear. After taking it to a garage, I found out the vanos system needed replacing - which can only be done by a BMW specialist and the clutch needed replacing at a personal cost of £800. Not only that, the oil was thick and gloopy indicating the service and likely MOT never took place. Funnily enough, this arseholes website is down and his phones are no longer in service. If you're reading this, I hope you've gone bankrupt you cheating c*nt

Car tyre exploded driving home from the dealership, it was the wrong tyre on a faulty alloy. MOT done by them, obviously fake. Zero customer service, in fact they were rude and totally unsympathetic, and really defensive.
I purchased a Renault scenic in June 2018 and within 4 weeks the drivers door would not open and only opens intermittently. I contacted Lidingo cars but received no help at all and was told it was wear and tear. It has now stopped working completely and I am now looking at £200+ to fix the door lock. They seemed genuine when I purchased the vehicle but customer service after this is appalling. Sad to say I would not recommend Lidingo Cars.

Bought a car from Lidingo Cars in Feb 2017. Drove the car 70 miles home and discovered the air con didn't work, the wheels seriously needed balancing and the rear window wouldn't close properly. Contacted them and they told me to get an estimate for the repairs and a diagnostic of what was wrong with the window (it could have been loads of different issues)Cost us £160 to get this done and provided them with a vehicle report. They refused to pay for the repairs saying "it's too much" and told me they would only refund me if I took it back within a few days (they aren't local to me). I was already out of pocket as I'd paid to get the vehicle report plus I had part exchanged my vehicle which had then been sold so I was not in a position to give the car back (and it's my right to require them to repair the car). Had to go through a 3rd party (the AA) to mediate with them. In the end, I had to threaten court action to get it repaired. I agreed to take the car to them for them to "look at" and agreed in writing they could have it for 24 hours. They kept the car for 9 days, ignored my calls and emails, they weren't clear when I asked them what they were doing with my car and I almost reported it stolen as I couldn't get to the bottom of what they were doing with my car, where it was or when I could have it back. In the end (and without them telling me exactly what they were doing) they repaired the car. The service really wasn't great and they don't know consumer rights as they repeatedly tried to breach mine. I haven't been refunded for the cost of the vehicle diagnostic that they asked for..... Avoid Lidingo Cars if you value your blood pressure!

Thank you for your review.but you forget to say that we give £300 discount to do all that. And you forget that you sign the invoice to accept that. customer always right but i think the lair always wrong.if you can proof am wrong you welcome. best regards.

Wow...there is is much wrong with the dealers reply here that I dont know where to start! You had MY car for NINE DAYS and in this time, you didnt tell me what you were doing with my car, you didnt keep me informed and didnt tell me where my car was. At one point, I was going to report the car as stolen because you wouldnt communicate with me and tell me when I could have the car back. Your memory of the incident is totally inaccurate. You wouldnt return my phone calls or emails. I had to get the AA involved (the dealer is part of their network) and at one point they told me they were seeking to remove you from their network because of how badly you treated me. They have everything recorded if my information here needs checking via a third party. Avoid this dealer....they have not been honest with me or in this review
The service from Lidingo cars was exception, having been in the motor trade myself, I was really impressed and blown away by how professional and friendly they were and how well prepared the car was. I have had no issues with my Nissan Qashqai and I have had it since January. I would happily recommend Lidingo Cars to anyone.

I bought a Citron C4 from this dealership. They issues it with a new starter but the depollution lights have come on but I think this is a glitch because the car is showing to symptoms. I will see how this goes and if it persists then I will go back for them to have a look at it. I would recommend this dealership They have been really helpful.
