Bought my Zafira last November from Lincs Sports Cars. Drove home and realised tracking was way out. Then noticed steam from engine-radiator was cracked. Took it back and they repaired only to bugger the turbo. Took back again and was ‘fixed’. Come to MOT and the car overheats and bleeds out all it’s coolant-turns out they put a clip straight through a pipe. Got tracking done and then needed lower suspension arms and ball joints. And the icing on the cake is I have realised this month that I have never seen an ABS light on the dash-I’m no mechanic and assumed all was well but realised I should see a light when ignition switched on. Took a a mechanic and turns out the ABS pump has failed and the ABS fuse had been removed so the light didn’t show. So basically I was sold a car without functioning ABS. I have kids in the car daily and went to a garage for peacemof mind and have been swindled! Very disappointed and now need to find the money to repair something that should have been sorted before sale!

Stay clear of Lincs sports car, car I brought suddenly went dead power steering needed fixing all the electrics sparked out central locking and windows wouldn’t work, Mark agreed to have it bk and fix, but he brought another old banger, and took the bits off of that and put on my car, I then ended up with car that had a new key to start engine but couldn’t open the doors with it, I had to break a window to get in it, then the engine blow up a week later Mark wasn’t interested in any solution, ignored calls and letters, stay well clear.

Does anyone know if RHZ cars currently trading out of the same premises are in anyway linked to the previous companies?
I brought a discovery tdi from this chap Mark at route 66/Lincs motor cars what ever you want to call it but he's a dodgy car dealer....the disco was packed behind the bumper with chicken wire and plastic padding and found out when the car got hit! If I ever see this guy I wont be shaking his hand, he does not care. DONT BUY FROM MARK END OF.
VinnythePanda in response to DODGY DEALER!
I'm afraid said dealer, Mark, has a very chequered history indeed.
We brought a BMW from Mark Dury at Lincs Sports Cars with a warranty within a week oil started to leak and we couldn't get the bonnet up which we rang him he said just give it a shove. We then said we were bringin it back he said ohh I've stopped trading stick it on eBay u will get u money back !! This man is a danger so we are now £5000 out off pocket aswell as spending trying to get all the other problems solved we are in process off getting legal action against him why oh why is he still allowed to trade!!!!

You are 100% right. He’s crossed the wrong person with me or rather my parents. He’s made my father feel a total fool and has had a breakdown over the way he has been treated and spoken to by Mark Drury. I’ve done my homework and digging and I can assure you that Lincs Sports Cars Ltd is still a “live” company on Companies House. This man is as slippery as a snake so the way to get him is to take out a County Court action against Lincs Sports Cars Ltd, Mark Drury, Robert Holden and Kelly Drury. These are all involved in the duplicity of selling you, me and every other decent person, dodgy cars. It’s the only way you’ll get a result. If you want to know more please feel free to email me at lemmonsteve@yahoo.com
Lincs sports , D and m , Route 66 ??? Whatever ,, If you fancy a car for sale in Lincolnshire area ,,,or anywhere in uk go to companies house and check if the "Drury" surname is listed if so FORGET ABOUT IT AND MOVE ON !!!!!! Feel sorry for anyone who works or linked to this outfit . Save your money unless you like court cases or waiting on motorway embankments in the rain waiting for tow trucks. Shut these down please !!!!
My son saved hard to buy himself a decent car from Lincs Sports Cars. So in December last year(2016) he bought a nice looking BMW. All seemed well on the day of driving it home. After a week the oil light came on so he topped it up with oil. Then a week later the same thing .... more oil. Then a week later more oil .. the more oil. Took it to a local garage who looked at it under the 3 month warranty it had. Garage put 2 new injectors into it because it started to run a bit rough. They took it for a test drive and suddenly smoke poured out of the exhaust. The mechanics pushed it back to their workshop. Long story short, The engine was totally knackered and beyond economical repair, WarrantyWise claimed it was wear and tear and have refused to pay out. Basically he was sold a pile of sh*t. When he phoned the garage (mobile number only) he was told the company had ceased trading. So now he has a pile of scrap metal that has just cost him £6000. Word to the wise people, Research your garage as well as the car. Sadly my son fell in love with the car and he didn't think about anything else. Had he done so, he would have seen all the negative reviews about this company. Oh and the 3 month warranty you get when buying a second hand car isn't worth the paper it's written on.
Bought a car from this company and so far it's cost me over a thousand pounds to put it right the gasket had gone the water pump and timing belt I ain't a mechanic so I saw a low mileage car and thought it was ok then two of the tyres had perished this is all a day of taking it to a local garage to look at . Now when I bought it a noise was coming from the car I thought bearings so cheap to fix and mark said just a bearing , now I find out it was gearbox bearings outch that has just cost me £625 with a new clutch that was on its way out . This company needs to be shut down. I am in talks with my solicitor because this is a company that just rips people off . When I bought the car it was Linc's sports cars now it's d & m

I bought a car from this company (D&M Trading, Lincs Sports car, whatever they call themselves), the next morning I broke down, battery flat, engine mount damaged, I FOUND A FLOOR MAT IN THE ENGINE, they inserted a floor mat in the engine to minimise the noise and shaking, my health and safety was at risk when driving back home because of that. Now I have a problem with the gear box and the car is just unusable sitting on the driveway. complete waste of money, of time, lots of stress. When I emailed them to state my Consumer Rights and ask for a refund I was told me: "stop bloody crying you bought a cheap car". I never seen such a rude and sarcastic person. This company should be banned from trading. The cars are not even serviced properly before selling. I strongly believe that they used to be called Route 66 Lincs, check out their reviews, they keep on changing names to get away with what they do. This is a disaster, stay away, don't even go near them.

Did anyone have an email address for Lincs sports cars or d&m Trading please? I am also rejecting a car I purchased and need to email them. I also intend to post the consumer rights act claim letter. Not hopeful that it will come to anything, so many bad reports about this company ( and the other names they've used)
steve Lemmon in response to CELINE
Hi Celine, I'm in the same boat as you with this bloke. Hes making mugs out of us all. I have been in touch with the Linconshire Trading Standards office rather than thcitizens advice who honestly do not understand the criminal behaviour of this guy.....theyre alright if you've bought a faulty washer from Currys but not to deal with a professional rogue trader like Mark Drury. If you want to contact me at my email address I will tell you who you need to speak with. If we all join together im sure we can stop him..
Lincs sports cars seems to have the same bloke mark in charge as Route 66. Take from that what you will. Bought a car recently with the advertisement stating the cam belt had been done, turns out it had but easy in its life on 17k and done 88,000 miles after, basically wants doing again. Rang mark who had no interest in keeping a pleasant tone and was told that he wouldn't get the belt done and if I wasn't happy bring the car back! His whole attitude towards after sales is disgusting and he even muttered an expletive on putting the phone down to me. I decided to get the car checked out at a local garage that I trusted before I made a decision wether or not to bring it back and told him so. The car was looked at and was fine, did however end up doing the can belt at a cost of £300. The first phone call was the last as mark never answered his phone to my number after that. I also had to chase up with the warranty company to make sure I got my warranty! It took 5 or 6 phone calls to the warranty company who then rang mark to ask him to put the warranty through. Eventually it was done. I am of the belief that if I hadn't done this it wouldn't of been done. Even after it were done the details were wrong and it had to be amended) The whole experience of buying the car was ok but once he got your money that's where his interest in customers ends! I wouldn't recommend and in the future I'd be checking out the the next car sales outfit that pops up in or around Boston isn't run by the same person. I don't normally leave reviews about such things but this guy has left an extremely sour taste in my mouth! To summarise there is no such thing as after sales, his attitude towards problems after he has your money is unbelievable. The whole operation is incompetent or blatant false advertisement. Whichever one it is i recommend steer clear.
