I’m writing this review as I sit and wait for my car to be serviced and MOT’d - I’ve had plenty of time, as having be asked to drop the car off between 8.30-9am. Five (yes I said five) hours later my car hasn’t moved from the parking bay I dropped it off in - will I use them again - well let’s wait and see - but I doubt it!!
Really don’t know where to start bought 18 plate car from these people for £53000 from the moment I got this car I had nothing but problems from start to Finnish 1’ brakes an disks warped don’t know how they passed new mot 2 electric faults 3 car kept juddering for know reason 4 it 11 days to get them to return my calls 5 charged me just short of £900 for usage of the car I didn’t have for a month 5 yes eventually they put things right but it has taken nearly a month to get my money back You don’t expect this from main dealership nice as pie to get you to sign on dotted line ‘ an yes I lost my temper more than once ‘ but only after countless arguments over the car ‘ STAY WELL AWAY FROM CHARLATANS 😡😡😡😡😡
Bought my Range Rover Sport 5 weeks ago. When I viewed the vehicle there were one or two internal marks that I was assured would be sorted when I would come to pick the vehicle up as I had paid for the car protection to be added to the paintwork and interior. Picked the vehicle up a week later all ok. Got the vehicle home and saw what looked like some chamois leather sticking out from the front grille on closer inspection saw that the grille was cracked. I took the vehicle back to them and pointed this out and they couldn’t apologise enough and assured me they would order a new grille for me. I also pointed out that the cleaning of the vehicle was not done to what I would expect on a vehicle of this value as you could see where the previous owner had spilt coffee on parts of the console. I then questioned whether the auto protect they had sold me had infact been put on the vehicle. Again they apologised and assured me this would be done when I returned the vehicle for the new grille to be fitted. It took the dealership 5 weeks to get me a replacement grille and that was only after I called them on more than one occasion to chase it up. I eventually had the new grille fitted, and should mention it’s not a new one just one taken from another vehicle as the badge is discoloured , and the protection put on the car. I then found out a few days later that there was a recall that was not dealt with before I picked the vehicle up. I need to mention this was something I found out from a friend who works for Land Rover and not by the dealership. I returned the vehicle and was told it would only take 20 minutes as it was just a software update and could wait and have a coffee. An hour and a half later I was still sat there. This is not the kind of service I would expect from a premium brand and especially when I have parted with £63k
Second visit to the dealership land blatantly ignored both time. Had wanted to discuss two approved vehicles on sale with a view to buying. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, whilst I’m not purchasing new it’s still a significant amount of money and I expect better service and at the very least being made to feel welcome

We have been to many showrooms over the years and this was by far the best service we have ever had, Vincent James our sale assistant was fantastic and we would definitely recommend the dealership. We were kept up to date throughout the process of buying our car and every staff member we came across, were very polite and welcoming. It was a pleasure to by our new car here

How many times does it take to try and fix the same problem. My Evoque has been in 4 times so far to try and get the power steering fixed. It even had a subframe wiring harness put in 3 weeks ago. Then yesterday the power steering stopped working again. So it's booked in for a fifth time although i have had enough and am considering getting rid of it. Not another Range Rover thats for sure. They also cut me off the phone twice again.
I just recently bought a car and my experience was awesome Everyone was so helpful to make my life easier and understandable of my requirements Gary Houges was sales guy who I made deal with he was a top person so understanding and very helpful I would recommend him anyone Thank you everyone at lister
I was left waiting 40 minutes after my arranged appointment time which was a poor start, the Jaguar I had chosen took over two and a half weeks to be ready, they made a series of excuses throughout that time as to why it wasn't yet ready for collection. When I was able to pick up the car I was again waiting for an hour over the time I was told to collect, I found the electric windows didn't work and the car hadn't been valeted so I promptly returned for them to rectify this which was another couple of hours. There was paperwork missing, including proof of MOT. I have since decided to contact Stratstone with any issues I've had and the service I have received from them has been on another level. I don't recommend Listers, they ruined the buying experience for me on this occasion.
