I made it abundantly clear that I was undertaking a hefty journey from Bristol, which would take me 5 hours by bus. Despite this information, they gave me the impression that the car would be available upon my arrival. When I finally reached the dealership, I was met with the shocking news that the car had already been sold. I received no call, no email, no text – nothing to suggest that the car I was travelling miles for had been sold out from under me. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to claim it was my fault for not paying a deposit, a requirement that had never been mentioned during our previous conversations! This was a bold-faced lie, and it added a whole new level of deception to their lack of professionalism.
