Thanks Kelly, it's nice to hear when we get it right. Enjoy your new car.
I only popped to the shops for a couple of things and ended up buying a car, and I know it's a girly thing to say I fell in love with the colour first. I always look at the cars there as they are all immaculately presented, and I found Jeremy to be incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very pleased with my purchase from Lombard Street Motors so thank you very much x

Thanks for the review Susan.
My family have dealt with Lombard Street Motors for close on 40 years and I can't recall a problem.Although I did have a battery go flat, but within the hour a mechanic arrived and sorted it so no complaints. I always look at the stock as I drive past and it is always well presented and seem to be reasonably priced. Speaking as I find I would not hesitate to recommend.

Thanks for the review Alan.
After spending the day trawling around other garages looking at cheaper cars, it was a breath of fresh air to find Lombard Motors and their immaculately presented cars. There were no high pressure sales tactics as with other garages, and Jeremy gave me a fair deal on my part exchange as it wasn't the best. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Thanks Ashley, it's nice to know that I do get it right most of the time.
4 hours ago. NO STARS !!!! Had to put 1 star, as no choice . Lombard Street Motors sold me a car I couldn’t test drive ,as blocked in . Had to take his word . Terrific squeal, when collected it . Back twice and still squealing .. I had to buy a new battery . DVLA logbook never arrived , I paid £4999, 5 months ago for it and book retail price I’m now told , is £3400. I’m a silly woman who’s been ripped off . BEWARE . Can’t sell it until logbook arrives after re applying , and can only get offers of £1600 to £2600 which is book price for the car . An expensive and unfair deal in all.

Rude man told me I couldn't afford the car I looked at. He is intimidating and a nasty little man. Do not bother going to Lombard Street Motors

Jeremy Taylor from Lombard Street Motors in response to Bully and arrogant man
This is clearly a fake review as I've never told anyone that they can't afford a car, it's not a great sales tactic is it? I would also say you've never actually been here Mr/Mrs Anonymous because if you had you'd know this silly 'little' man is 6ft 6". I think it probably says more about your personality leaving anonymous bad reviews than it does of mine.
Purchased a car from Lombard Street Motors, had loads of problems,It went back several times, and after the 3 months the problems continued, Allan Healey said he would still warrant after the 3 months if the problem is not solved, took my car to a main dealer and had it checked over, was told that the car was not fit for purpose. Went to citizens advise, they helped me write a letter to Allan Healey. Who suddenly had sold the company to his Minion who was working for him, and then the garage suddenly changed its name, So far the repairs to my car have out weighed the value of the car. Steer clear of these people.

Purchased a car from Lombard Street Motors in December 2012, sold back to them May 2016. All paperwork completed, advised by Allan Healey the company owner that he had to send off the change of ownership to DVLA. Nearly a year later after moving to New Zealand my wife has court bailiffs chasing her for unpaid parking tickets from January 2017 when physically she is the other side of the world and the vehicle had been sold to ALLAN nearly a year previously. Checked with DVLA, Lombard ST Motors failed to register their ownership of the car. When approached today the response from the owner was to laugh at the problem and deny all responsibility. A cautionary tale for anyone considering buying or selling a used vehicle, and an excellent illustration of how customer service and honesty can go so sadly wrong.A cautionary tale for anyone considering buying or selling a used vehicle, and an excellent illustration of how customer service and honesty can go so sadly wrong. I have rated this one star, reality is it should be ZERO, but the site will not allow posts without a rating.
No hard sale, Alan is easy going and very reasonable. In my opinion he prides himself on providing good quality cars. His reputation speaks for itself and I am confident in agreeing that he has repeat customers who return to him, because of his trustworthy style. My husband and I enjoyed the fact we were not bombarded with bull, just an honest appraisal of the car we ultimately bought. I would recommend.
I would urge caution if you are considering buying from Lombard Street Motors. They were advertising a kia sportage they described as "very well kept and in excellent condition both inside and out". I made some further enquiries with the dealer Alan via email and based on his brief descriptions I drove the 6 hour return journey to view/ test drive it. Yes it was tidy but only drove it no more than 50 yards before I realised thick blue smoke coming from the exhaust. I returned to the dealership immediately and left in disgust. "Excellent condition inside and out"...Really? Even Stevie Wonder could see there was something seriously wrong with the engine and evidently the dealer was not wishing to mention it! That was a whole day completely wasted and spent over £40 in fuel to travel to view it. Out of disgust, I emailed the dealer indicating my unhappiness - I have received no response! This dealership is, in my opinion the worst there is.

Alan heeley from Lombard Street Motors in response to Mr Irritated
Suggest you change your name to Mr Know not a lot about Motor Cars but like to pretend I do.The Kia Sportage you drove did not emit clouds of blue smoke. After you left our premises at high speed without saying a word we test drove the car and there was no smoke whatsoever at any speed. The following morning again on start up there was nothing. We supplied this car to its last owner and we know it has been well maintained. The car has now sold [the next day actually] and the new owner is very pleased with his purchase. The silly petulant attitude you exhibited at our premises tells me a lot about you which I wont go into ,but I am relieved that we do not have you as a customer. Thank goodness most of our customers are nice, genuine folks that are the reason we have been here 35 years. So,Mr Irritated [what a stupid name] go take your business elsewhere and the best of luck to them !
