***** READ THIS POST BEFORE BUYING FROM LOMOND CAR CENTRE *****Bought an £11000 van from the other end of the country, was told of a couple of minor marks on the bodywork which would be fine. Upon delivery, it has a smashed splashguard in the wheel arch, rust along the cills, the wing isn't flush with the door and there is large dent in the tailgate. Totally ignoring my emails and everyone on the phone is shirking responsibility. Trading standards are now getting involved. Not to mention it dumping all the fuel out over the road 30 minutes after being collected.... Salesman becomes aggressive and rude when questioned about anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Same issue with buying a van. Salesman wasn't interested his attatide was terrible and their cars and vans are filthy and un kept. The owner of this company should get a new salesman and a valeter. What ashame. Another sale lost
AVOID Lomond Car Centre. They are terrible to deal with got a van from here a year ago broke down leaving to fore court was told her problem which never got fixed due to being pawned off and being told his mechanic were always on holiday or off sick alot of issues with the van and paid 3k for it at the time I was told by Mark it would have been 5k if the bodywork was a bit less dented. I wasn't told it didn't have a v5 for it and was told I would have been refunded for the v5 which I wasn't. Guy eventually kept rejecting calls and not answering phone. The vans now packed in again and has left me without a job or transport as I am self employed companies a joke so stay well clear
Drove all the way from Essex to pick up my transit van from Lomond Car Centre. Exactly what I was after, glad I chose to come here.

Blue Toyota Hilux advertised on Autotrader, using the words of Lomond Car Centre 'first class condition...excellent condition inside and out'. Rang the day before travelling 270 miles each way to view the vehicle. I asked the man on the phone and he backed up the statement that it was in excellent condition. On viewing the vehicle...every single body panel was covered in scratches, stone chips and paint missing due to over zealous pressure washing, alloys were all scuffed, rear bumper stoves into right rear wing, damaged sills, small bits of brick rubble in crevases in the load bay, engine bay was dirty (stuck on dust) interior smelt of fag smoke and the entire interior had only had a quick wipe over leaving dirt visible on all switched etc. The keys were given to me with an SHB fob attached so is an ex hire vehicle. My conclusion was it had spent most of its life on a new road/construction site environment and had been used and abused. It was a wreak. The old boy at the dealers basically said it is what it is...oh and all the scatches would buff out! The majority of the 4x4 pick ups they stock appear to be ex hire vehicles so beware!

Stay away from Lomond Car Centre! I purchased a van from this man and encountered nothing but problems. When driving the van back to London, almost halfway the brakes failed and when it was checked the brake pads were worn completely to metal. The EGR started playing up and 2 of the injectors stopped working. The oil was thick and dirty, the fuel filter was totally disintegrated and yet Mark claimed the van had just had a full service and MOT! I believe it was a dodgy MOT, I cannot see how the van passed it in the first place. No effort has been made to sort this out and I've had to complain to the finance company in a prolonged complaint and facing an £18000 debt on a van simply not worth it. Wish I had checked the company online and read the reviews before using them, cowboy sellers, they deserve 0, 1 star is too good.

Traveled 600 miles to view a van advertised at Lomond Car Centre as being in excellent condition. Further from the truith and wasted my day. Took 3 turns for the engine to stay running. DPF warning, plus streering warning light came on.something kept buzzing somewhere. Door key barrel missing and centeral locking didnt close it. It was sprayed a different blue front back and sides for whatever reason. Bonnet didnt match both wings. Brake pads nearly all worn down and the back box exhaust coming appart. Definitely what i wouldnt describe as excellent condition. Dont waste your time traveling as they are rouge traders. They obviously purchase vans from auctions that nobody wants for a very low price.

Don't, just don't. They knowingly sold us a BMW with an N47 engine which is known among anyone who works with cars, to have a faulty timing chain which snapped in ouurs and we are left with a car which can't move, is uneconomical to repair and we can't cancel the finance payments as it will ruin our credit rating. They gave us a three week warranty during which time engine lights came on they did a DFP filter clean, played for time till the three weeks were up when we tried to return it when the engine lights came on they didn't want to know. They don't answer letters have no concept of customers service. We have wasted in excess of £6k not to mention the stress. DONT TOUCH THEM

I purchased a Mercedes C class from these jokers in August. The day after I got it home (I live 300 miles away) it had 2 defective tyres, there was no service history for it despite being advertised as such. On calling them, I was told it was the distance I drove it home that caused the tyre issue. 2 days later I noticed an oil leak on it. Having it inspected locally it was obvious the car had issues as the gear box had damage to the casing. Lomond cars told me I HAD to have it repaired by them. I left the car with them for 10 days and they told me it was all fixed. They offered me a tank of petrol as compensation, this was not forthcoming. On getting the car back home, it was inspected again and they had fixed nothing. The car was shipped back to them and a refund requested. That has taken 3 weeks for them to give the funds back with the help of the local trading standards. They are thoroughly dishonest and if you get a car from them expect it to be not as advertised and to be treated with utter contempt should you complain.
