I bought a Renault from this little garage and have been delighted both with it and the service they gave me. I don't recognise the experience the few other reviewers have left. Maybe I'm less picky or a more careful motorist, but the guys there have always put themselves out for me and my car has worked perfectly from day one. I can recommend this little garage to anyone for decent, cheap used cars, personal service, servicing and repairs as they have never let me down.

Bought a bmw x3 from them. They stated on there advert in brilliant condition and working order. Excellent example. Well after a few days the car lost all power. Took it in and the dpf was gone ( well that's what they said ). Car ok for a couple weeks then it broke down costing us a huge amount of money to receiver and fix. Now after 6 weeks of fix car has lost all power again meaning the dpf is blocked again suggesting work wasn't done right or there is another issue which wasn't fixed first time. Tried speaking to them about fixing with no joy. They got aggressive. Will pay to have car fixed and will move issue to small claims court to recover the repair costs. ( when they had car to fix dpf they damaged the exhaust ) I would avoid and should have known better then by a car from back Street garage. Jo wonder there stock sits so long.

I bought a car from Lonsdale Cars and I have had nothing but problems with it. Despite offering to fix the problems under "warranty" the garage have failed to fix any of them, resulting in my having to keep taking the car back in. I would avoid this place if you are considering buying a car

I brought a motorbike from here in full working order as they said... Missing bolts from my brake light, was hanging off one day when I got to work, bolts was missing from the dashboard so when I was riding my speedometer was bouncing up and down, didn't feel safe riding the bike at all!! Electric start won't work now I have to use the kick start every time which is rather annoying. I had the bike under 2 months, have rang countless times they said the bolts being sent in the post, first one for dash came which I had to pay postage for!!! And the second for brake light I'm still waiting for (gone and brought them myself now as given up hope) and when I rang about my electric start well have a guess again NO HELP AT ALL!! Poor customer service and poor quality of goods. In all honestly I reckon this place should be closed!!
