Attended Ashford dealership today 01/04/21 as a first time customer and first time buyer of a Mercedes. Having looked around the forecourt at various models I entered the showroom to get some advice from a member of the sales team. While stood at the counter, there was no one at the desk but a numbers of staff standing around chatting to each other. Having been totally ignored, I left. I would rather drive further to another town/area and deal with another dealership that’s go back to the one in the Orbital, Ashford.

Mercedes Benz Ashford is beyond shocking they had the car for 12 months to fix a fault after arriving to collect the car we found bodyworks damage round the whole car a bottle of beer in the drivers door pocket and a hole in the roof interior trim not put back on properly I was absolutely mortified at the way the vehicle and ourselves has been treated if I could rate with a minus I would

If I could give lower than 1,I would .I bought an expensive GLE from them which has had multiple faults since the start. My own local dealership has had to fix them and this us still on going. I emailed twice and called 4 times the managers of this dealership with my concerns that such a new car , still under warranty should NOT have do many serious faults and to date they have still not responded. I know feel they knew all along the car was dodgy and are trying to cover up and not contact customers. Disgusting and disgraceful service. Do NOT use this dealership and DO NOT BUY THE GLE- they all have one of the many faults my car has which is that the interior lights do not automatically come on, when the engine is switched off. I feel this is the cause of all the media and more dangerous transmission problems my car has

Can not understand the poor reviews for this dealer.. Bought my last car with them (GLA AMG STYLE) excellent service by the salesman.Any missing items replaced no problem, car has run like a dream for three years. Am just going to buy another GLA from Ashford Mercedes. I shall write a review on the next vehicle . Dates on review are a rough guess due to time lapse.
Mercedes Ashford rip innocent people off to part with there hard earned cash. They put on extra on there bills by over pricing. They also tell customers they need to replace wiper blades when they don’t need them to reach there figure targets. I know this cause I worked here and wanted me to do it and when I didn’t want to I got pushed out. They miss sell to warranty as well so they ripping of who ever they can to line there pockets and mark terry is the manager telling the staff to do this.

Recently took my Mercedes into the Ashford branch to have a previous diagnosed oil leak with the branch repaired. They informed me over the telephone that the work would be completed in a day/two and so I dropped my vehicle to them with good faith the following day. They advised me that I would have to pay a diagnosis fee of £168 prior to the work being completed. I was a bit taken back by this as I had already received a diagnosis previously and myself and their garage team were both aware of this as they had previously done this. I didn’t want to make a fuss and thought they were a responsible company and wanted the work to be completed by Mercedes experts so was willing to pay this extra cost. Mercedes of Ashford never contacted me like they said they would the following day instead I waited for two days and on the second full day of having my car they called the second contact person on my details provided who was my husband to state that they hadn’t been able to diagnosis the fault, bearing in mind they had previously diagnosed this? Only to continue to say it would take another few hours to diagnosis at a cost of £500 on top of the previous £168. I was utterly disgusted and couldn’t believe what I was hearing, they had quoted just under £1500 to repair the oil leak which was enough in itself without trying to put an extra £668 diagnosis fee on top of that. I have owned my Mercedes for 5 years now had it serviced every year and it has been well looked after and always run smoothly. Following my previous experience with the Ashford branch to diagnose this fault I was 5 miles in on the motorway and my vehicle went into limp mode. When I phoned them to explain they had had my vehicle on the ramp for hours and had never experienced my car doing this they went on to tell me I would have to pay for it to go on a diagnostic to detect why.I went to a trusted garage and they looked at it for me and said it looked like someone had put a leaf in to make it go in limp mode. I went and collected my car the following day and will never take it back here, these people are crooks and are only interested in ripping people off and giving the company Mercedes a bad name in the process.
Well I couldn't fault Mercedes Ashford. Adam the salesperson was very professional and got me a good deal. I wasn't too sure how some of the apps worked (too much to remember at the time of purchase) so he arranged a further meeting to go through things with me.
In brief....no customer service at all, ML63 returned to the wrong house and keys posted into another persons door, 2 damaged front tyres on return which they replaced under protest but their vehicle check video proved they were not damaged before they drove my car to the wrong house! Never do they have the parts needed. I hate Mercedes of Ashford, it fills me with dread when my car goes in.
Called Mercedes of Ashford to see if the car advertised was still available, I was told it was, when I arrived I was informed it was sold a few days previous by a different branch, I was offered other similar models (surprise, surprise) that were due in but none were estate cars. A week later the vehicle is still being advertised for sale, I called again and this time I was informed it had been sold and they were 'slow in removing sold vehicles' I made a 120 mile journey and wasted half a day, they just leave cars as available on the Mercedes Ashford Website as bait!! Definitely poor customer service.
