This is the email I sent them after they continuously messed up. Hello, I want to file a complaint with management about the extremely poor service I’ve received. How am I supposed to not go and leave as many terrible reviews as possible about how poor this service and communication has been? I had an appointment with you 9:45am Monday to get a standard MOT test done. When I dropped it off, they were not prepared. They tooo the vehicle back and said it will be ready for pickup at 4:45. Throughout the day I and my assistant made numerous calls to get more I formation about payment and when it would be finished. After no calls out of over 10 were answered, I showed up to get my vehicle back. When I arrived, it took a long time before someone would speak to me. Finally someone did and said the car isn’t finished. It wasn’t even started because you fired someone and it was in their area. It sounds like it’s management that needs fired because you didn’t train you people well enough to handle things properly and didn’t make plans to complete the works they had started. So after spending money on travel and losing time going to the location again, I was told you are closing and I wouldn’t be able to get the car but if I showed up at 9 am it will be finished and ready to pick up. I questioned and clarified again that it would be ready to pick up. The guy said yes. He also said my extra Uber fees would be reimbursed. About 10am I show up, giving extra time since I received no communication. After 20 minutes of no one helping me other that the receptionist that I had to ask help from. Eventually someone came out and said it’s not done and still hasn’t been started. They said the 9 o’clock appointment on this day gets prior over me even though my previous day appointment which wasn’t completed as a result of your failure. At this point I’m very furious about this poor service and communication and I have other responsibilities to attend to so they said in two hours it could be complete. I leave and get another unnecessary Uber to go back to work and I cancel my business trip that I was supposed to go on in the car. I was assured that it will be taken care of and delivered to my business and the Uber expenses will be reimbursed. I also ask about payment link because it was never sent. Hours go by and I receive no communication. Finally the link to pay is sent and we pay it. I and assistants try to call multiple times again. Service department never picks up. Finally the sales department picks up. They say that I will be called back soon. Almost an hour goes by and finally a second payment link is sent about a past due payment. This wasn’t brought up to me any of the other times I was at your location. We pay the link and still no call or communication. No response to emails. I call back again as I really need this vehicle back. I finally get someone and they say I will be called back shortly. About 30 minutes go by and No call received. I attempt to call back and all the lines say the departments are now closed. Now I have no vehicle for the night I really needed it. I have lost thousands of pounds as a result of your errors now with the lost time and plans falling through. This is the poorest service I have ever received from any vehicle dealer or service center.

So many incompentencies to list, Wasted a day of my life, booked in to have windscreen done, checked all was in stock and ready to go a couple of days before as have a 4 hour round trip to get to them. They confirmed all was in stock and in place, only to be told, hands up, it’s not even here! So much more to this, felt some sympathy for the service advisor, but the new service manager (knew he was new there, as he started to excuse himself a bit from the horrific service because of this!) By their own admission, they were at fault, but offered no solution to minimise inconvenience to myself. Off to Land Rover customer service to lodge a formal complaint. I hope they’ve got an hour spare!
Reading these reviews and they completely sum up my experience with Taggarts Glasgow. When i was purchasing the car the staff couldn't be more helpful. I deal with Jak Reid and she cam back to me when i had a query, she was informative and everything went well, including the transportation of my new car as I live in England! Fast forward a couple of weeks when i highlighted some issues with the car and they were completely different. They took forever to return my calls or emails and when i did finally get a response and agreement for the work to be done in my local Land Rover garage, amazing these problems continued. Both myself and the local garage tried for 3 days to contact John Malley at Taggarts to get approval for the works to be completed and he didn't return mine or the garages calls or emails...ever. My car was in for 3 days and none of the work was done, i ended up having to pick it up again as the courtesy car i was using was booked out for the 4th day so my car still needs fixing and, 5 days later, i am STILL waiting for a call back from John Malley/Taggarts. If you are going to spend money buying a car they will be very helpful, but do not expect this level of service to continue once they have your money!

Purchased a Velar from dealership in Leeds on 29/01/19..... In the first year I booked it into Taggarts Maryhill to complete three minor repairs under warranty. Received a call to pick my car up as all repairs had been completed, this was completely false as none of them had been completed. In the second year I booked my car in again with the same issues but also a new more major problem as I heard a noise coming from my front driver side wheel. Again I received a call informing me all was sorted apart from the noise as the mechanic could not hear it. At this point I told the. To keep the car as there was definitely a noise and it was probably the wheel bearing. Next morning I received a call telling me, good news that the mechanic had taken it out for a test drive again and heard the noise. I was advised it was a wheel bearing surprise surprise which required replacing but unfortunately they didn’t have the part in stock. The car would have to remain in over the weekend and that they would replace it on Monday. Received the call Monday afternoon and I could collect my car. Before driving off checked the original faults and yes they were still there and not touched but when I was driving home I could indeed confirm the wheel bearing was sorted and no noise. Third visit I booked the car in for the alloy wheels to be checked as they had started to show bad rust spots from inside out. Also sent photos to the customer care rep showing the rust on all four wheels. So I left it for a couple of weeks and never received any update so called the garage again and asked for an update. I was informed that my claim had been rejected a a warranty job. When I asked what my next step was they couldn’t tell me and basically told me that was the end of it as far as they were concerned. So I took it a step further and contacted citizen advice who told me after seeing the photos that I had a legitimate case and indeed would be covered by warranty. In the meantime I contacted the dealership I bought the car from who asked for the photos to be sent on. Once they seen the state of them there was no stopping them. They advised my wheels would be changed under warranty, when I arrived they would give me a courtesy car for the duration of my visit and they would provide compensation for the way I was treated. Guy Salmond Wakefield could not do enough for me whereas Taggarts could not get rid of me fast enough. I had to drive all the way down to Leeds for a job which should have been done in Glasgow !!! Oh and they completed the outstanding repairs which Taggarts had three go’s at....
I have had 3 Range Roger Sports from this site over the years . 3 weeks ago I called and spoke to a sales assistant to explain my daughter was interested in an Evoque but she had a limited budget. Then last week I called again and someone said they would call back . I have not had any replies to my calls . The service here is poor , some of the people are arrogant and think it’s beneath them to attend to you . My car is due a service but I have booked it in elsewhere and won’t be back .

I took my Land Rover Evoque into Taggarts Maryhill for a system recall. I was told my car would be ready in 4-5 hours maximum - great. On day 1 after after 7 hours I called them to find out what was happening, I couldn't get through to anyone on the service desk so I got a taxis to Maryhill. On route they called me back to be informed nothing had been done as they did not have the part (I had booked this recall 2 weeks in advance) it would be ready sometime tomorrow. Day 2 I called at 9am to state I needed my car asap as I have kids and a job to go to - I was told it would be ready by 1pm and they would call before 1pm to confirm when to collect. Ok. No word from them by 1pm. I called them at 1pm to be told no work had been started but they would ask the garage to start it now and would be ready by 4pm I had to go and collect my car as I couldn't wait any longer. 3 wasted taxis journeys. The worse customer car I have experienced as a car owner, absolutely no communication from the garage. When I went into the garage to get my car I asked if anything had been done in the past 2 days to it at all. They said yes ... its been washed. I could have done that myself for £5 saved 2 days and £50 in taxis.

If you think they are bad you should deal with parks Landrover of Ayr.They gave me an email saying my car was 100% safe 18 miles from the garage the same life threatening defect reoccurred... i wouldnt trust them with my grandchilds pram
If Taggarts is one of the best Land Rover garages in Glasgow then the rest must be awful. Picked up my car following service at 14,0000mls to find all the service staff had gone home and only sales staff who knew nothing about the vehicle were in attendance. A video message sent to me informed me of a serious oil leak on this nearly new car- but has anybody from Taggarts contacted me following my visit to explain what this problem is and how it can be fixed- of course not because to do that the Service staff would need to understand something about customer service which they plainly do not. Oh and the general manager who apologised profusely when I spoke to him on going to pick up the car and who assured me would address the problem and call my straight back the following day. Has he actually followed up and called? You must be kidding!

I wanted to use parks of Ayr but my new Rangerover couldnt get there without breaking down
Visited Taggarts Glasgow North to test drive the Range Rover Evoque. The staff were warm and friendly while waiting for our salesman Omar Mohammed. After our test drive we decided to ask more questions and Omar always replied with great knowledge and showed us around the Evoque. We were so impressed that rather than think things over we decided to purchase the car there and then. Omar discussed all options and provided all the information necessary. We were happy with his salesmanship
