Went in on a Sunday and was met by John - very knowledgeable about the Kia I was interested in, took car for a test drive and decided would purchase. Got a very fair price for trade in, completed paperwork and got go ahead for car finance very early Monday morning, kept up to date from John at Nissan all the way through, agreed to collect car Saturday 7th September and when arrived car all ready to go as was paperwork - got shown to vehicle and again John very knowledgeable about instruments on inside of car and boot etc and drove away within the hour of arriving and can say one very happy lady driver, Nissan Gateshead I thank you 😊

My experience with Nissan Gateshead has been a complete disaster. The vehicle I purchased had severe issues, including poor condition and a malfunctioning engine management light. Despite reporting these problems immediately, the company failed to respond or take any action. Attempts to resolve the situation were met with excuses, such as having only one driver for deliveries and collections, which caused significant delays. When the company promised to handle repairs, they sent the vehicle to a local garage without proper authorization. The entire ordeal has been characterized by communication failures, broken promises, and unprofessional behavior. The manager's offer of a partial refund was far below the original amount paid, which is unacceptable. Nissan Gateshead is unreliable and dishonest. I am now pursuing legal action against them. Steer clear of this company to avoid a similar experience.

Purchased my first automatic drive from Lookers. Was unsure about the change from manual transmission but was taken through all procedures by Abi Chipchase, who gave a very competent demonstration of use. Abi was very knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly. Much obliged for her help. Would recommend.

The service I received at Nissan was incredible. Jason was fantastic, explained everything clearly and helped me through the process of purchasing my car. As a young female looking for a car alone it can be daunting but Jason was helpful and made the whole process simple and easy. I went to view the car last week and brought it home yesterday. I chose the finance option and everything was shown to me step by step to insure I was happy. I will defiantly be using this Nissan garage again and would like to thank Jason for all his help along the way.
My X-Trail was booked in for a minor paint work repair to the rear bumper via Premia Solutions. The online process to register the repair requirement and to book a repair time slot were without issue. Post repair when viewing the car in daylight the following quality related issues were identified, overspray on adjacent black plastic components, flecks / speckle effect in the paintwork i.e. not smooth and incorrect shade of white painted used that noticeably did not match the cars original colour (reportedly they did not have the correct paint in stock, so they applied the closest shade they had) Overhaul the initial process lacked the appearance of any form of quality control measures being in place. Ultimately the car was returned and sent to a Sunderland Coach Works which had the correct paint in stock. The finish from this 2nd process / location was as expected but did result in additional days without the vehicle and the need to arrange drop offs and collections at the garage. Not the quality you would expect from a Nissan main dealer (Gateshead), and any future requirements would not be via this location.
I bought a van from here back in July. It was clean and in really good condition and I have only had a few small issues but the dealers have resolve them now. The van is really good value for money and I'm hoping to buy another one from them in the future. I would definitely recommend.
