Please read before you part with your money bought 14 plate Jetta from Lookers Volkswagen in Preston and to start with you pay £20 for fuel but they don’t put it in so check before you sign for car car sold to me with no service book still not got after 3 mouths of asking give up and now come the best moted day before by them and never showed me mot had 3 advisers all tyres was one back brakes a not working properly and seat belt work in great condition but still sold to me jobs now done but still no service book please give away from these.

Phoned Lookers Volkwagen in Preston up to arrange a test drive prior to ordering a new car left my details for a call back, no call back. Phoned the following day and managed to arrange a test drive with a named salesman a few days later on the Thursday. Arrived at the sale room 10mins prior to the arranged test drive and was told that the named salesman was off today as Thursday was always his day off ! Why arrange a test drive with me on his day off ? Receptionist said that she would try and get someone else to take me for a test drive I hung around for a bit lots of staff wandering round but no one offered to take me for a test drive so I left. I phoned up later in the day and spoke to the sales manager here “ Anthony “ who said that the named salesman I had arranged to meet had taken the day off because of family reasons which was a different story to what the receptionist told me. In my brief dealings with this car dealer not one word of apology from any of the staff I conversed with. As an afterthought I checked the customer reviews for this dealer and it transpired that their after sales service is abysmal so it was for the best that I didn’t order my new car from Preston Volkwagen.

We were really impressed with the way Alex delt with us. He wasn’t pushy at all and was polite friendly and really helpful. In the end we decided to go elsewhere for a car but this had nothing to do with Alex.

I purchased a VW from Lancaster VW but I live in Preston. A few warning lights came up on my dash, VW warranty covers you at ANY VW dealer in the UK. So I was worried about driving up the motorway with 3 lights on, 1 inc. an engine one. So I drove 0.2 miles to Preston VW and an older man from Servicing said to go back to Lancaster as they won't be able to cover me which I know is a lie. Quite frankly, his attitude stank and he was a discredit to the company.

We bought a new car from Lookers Preston Volkswagen and the salesmen were very attentive during the buying process. However, it came without several parts and careless in-house fittings, the pre-delivery inspection having been almost non-existent. When subsequently phoning the dealer with queries, as when warning lights come on, we found it impossible to talk to anyone as policy seems to be "leave your name and number and we`ll phone you back". If you`re calling with a buying query, you`ll get a quite different response. The after sales service, call returning and follow up, compared to the local Nissan agent, are very poor and makes it unlikely we`ll buy our next new car from them.

Great at selling, must listen to customer when they say they have a fault on the car. Don't listen never return calls customer service very very poor. After sales warranty service dreadful.do not buy a Volkswagen if you want good after sales service. Head office no better takes hours to ring you back,then place you on hold so you get fed up and hang up. They also book appointments then cancel at the last minute.so if you want good service don't buy a Volkswagen.
