If you are looking for vehicle quality consistent with that of only spending a grand or don't mind 'car auction' attitude then these guys are excellent! If on the other hand, you are expecting professional, high quality vehicles, excellent after sales service and responsible selling....you may want to further your search scope! I spent £18000 on a 4 year old Peugeot 508 back in October 2022. As per usual, the sales process was all great....smooth etc... because after all, at this stage they want your money and don't have it. The dealership sent a video of the car which all seemed fine. Very hard to see anything though unless it's glaringly obvious. When the car was delivered, again, on first glance, all seemed absolutely fine. It wasn't until later that day I noticed the bonnet was out of alignment with the OSF wing. Ok....not too much of an issue but you'd still expect this to have been noticed by highly trained quality technicians?? When driving it the next day, I noticed a slight judder on the clutch (still present), the audio for the parking sensors makes the speakers pop, and a clunking/rattling sound from the front end. Contacted these guys, very helpful and authorised to be booked into Peugeot main dealer with the diagnostics charge refunded. Great. Could not replicate any of these faults. Authorised to be booked into my local garage a couple of weeks later again, diagnostics charge offered to be refunded.....still waiting on that 3 months later! Again....could not replicate any reported faults. Ok....am I imagining them? Only thing I can do is wait for the faults to develop further to be diagnosed. Jury is still out on this. What the local garage did find was somewhere in excess of 20 fault codes in the ECU....most of which linked to bodyscan sensors. Codes cleared, and immediately 3 come back giving a clear sign something isn't right. Why were there 20 or more stored codes anyway when the vehicle was sold?? A few days goes by, local garage check codes again to see if more have returned....and yes! Approx 10-12 more codes in ECU. Airbag, seatbelt, calibration of this, calibration of that etc. Advised dealer of this. Response was something along the lines of 'there are many reasons why a vehicle would have stored codes in the ecu'. Also advised of issue with bonnet and was asked by dealer to get estimate for repair. On this second visit to my local garage (Trading Standards Approved) they discover the driver door is out of sync with the OSF wing and also out of alignment with the rear door. The rear door is also out of alignment with the rear quarter panel!! Need I say more? Request to reject denied, all communication from dealer ceased....still no reimbursement of my 2nd lot of diagnostics charge of £89, estimate for bodywork sent and ignored! Classic 'got your money and run' from what is supposed to be a reputable name in the vehicle sales field. Case referred to The Motor and Financial Ombudsman. Awaiting outcome. I'm not going to be all dramatic and spew out all the usual stuff about not trusting these guys, they're bad news, don't this and don't that.....the whole things speaks for itself. Gut wrenchingly disappointed and now having to go through a massive amount of grief with finance company and regulatory bodies when the dealer had the opportunity to do something decent and honourable - in keeping with it's good name ....but no, they chose to cut n run! Niiiiiiice!!!! So very sad.
