From the start of the process of buying the Used Ford Focus the way that the staff dealt with me and my wife was excellent and what you would want but not always get elsewhere. Bradley was our main contact so a big thanks to him along with Savio who finally pushed the deal over the line. Also Charlie who popped in to just see if we were happy. So it's 👍👍 from us. I recently had an airbag recall for my, admittedly, old Ford Mondeo. I took it to Lookers to have it exchanged. That part of the job was as expected; no issues, nothing to make them stand out as either good or bad. Then today I tried to open the bonnet of my car and realised that they had pulled so hard on the release catch that they had snapped the cable. I called them to ask them to repair it and they lied and stated they had not attempted to open the bonnet. At the bottom of their repair sheet for the airbag it states they could not open the bonnet so it wasn't checked. How could they know that they couldn't open the bonnet if they didn't attempt it? Yes, my car does have an issue with the bonnet release but I did tell them how to open it and I now cannot open it. To damage a car then refuse to repair it is unforgivable. So basically I got my car back in a worse state than when I gave it to them. I would recommend going elsewhere if you require honesty.

A massive Thankyou to Daniel Muff Business Manager at Lookers Ford Sheffield I purchased a Ford Puma from Dan a week or so ago and the service was amazing it’s a massive decision when buying a car and even harder when there are two or three cars to choice from Dan explained clearly to me the best options for me and I came home with a car and the colour which I wonted, I have had a number of after sales phone calls from Dan and his team checking that’s am still happy and if they can assist in anyway which is brilliant , I would highly recommend lookers Ford Sheffield if you are thinking of buying a new or used car 10/10 for total service .

I bought my first Kuga Titanium X with less than 10kmiles miles from Lookers Sheffield. When my wife and I collected it, there was only fuel for 1 mile. After a week or so, the low oil light illuminated. I looked underneath and there was no signs of a leak. Spoke to the service dept, who were not helpful. I topped it up and thought everything would be ok. The light came on again. Their service dept accused me of undoing the filter. Why? I took it to my local dealership who replaced the fabric engine cover and fitted a new oil filter and oil under warranty. It appears that the oil filter had not been tightened up and had unscrewed. Having said we would not buy from Lookers again, we recently saw a grey 69 year Vignale with 7600 miles and a factory fitted towbar. Because of Covid, we had to buy Click & Collect. I paid a deposit, sent a picture of my current Kuga ST X and completed all paperwork via email. We agreed the part exchange valuation and arranged to collect the car on a Monday morning. I had advised repeatedly that I would making a BACS payment on collection. To enable me to set up a BACS payment, I needed Lookers bank details. I called on the Sunday and didn't get a call back. Tried 4 times on the Monday we were collecting the car and was told everyone were in meetings. We carried on to the dealership and the Vignale was ready for us to collect. When we inspected the vehicle, the seat memory function was not working and were told that it could be fixed under warranty. We were then told we couldn't pay by BACS on collection but would have to wait 48hours. The next thing, they would not honour our part exchange offer, as they claim the wheels on my Kuga were not correct for my model. When I said that I had sent a photo, I was told that a photo was not received albeit I had proof of the email sent. Again another poor experience with Lookers. We left and vowed never to deal with Lookers again.
I took the usual initial lies with a roll of the eyes, ’I’m losing money selling it at the price it’s on for,’ etc, etc. Started to get a little irritating when I got a lot of calls in the week before I picked up the car, ‘My manager didn’t put it in the diary when you we’re coming in to sign the finance,’ ‘What time are you coming to pick up the car?’ ‘Can we change the time you’re coming to pick up the car?’ What time did we say you’re coming to pick up the car?’ You get the idea. It really turned to harassment after I’d bought the car. Despite having paperwork demonstrating I’d paid for the car in full, I started getting calls demanding a further £200. These included emotional blackmail, ‘If you don’t pay another £200 they will take it out of my wages,’ (they told me they were an honest family business – guess that was another lie) and also ‘If you’re an honest customer I’m sure you’ll come in any pay another £200.’ I’ve had to block them calling me again. Look elsewhere
