Purchased a GLE 400 D Jan 2021, 1week after, headlights internally are suffering from extreme condensation to the point of water running down the lens & settling within the unit. Took photos, returned to dealer & spoke to Danny from service, who proceeded to tell me this was normal & his girlfriends A class sufferers the same, not a very convincing or professional explanation. I suggested that this was not a bit of condensation but water running down the inside of the sealed headlight unit, look at the photos I’ve taken do you not see it or believe me? under duress Danny somewhat reluctantly booked the vehicle in for an inspection ( More on that later as this issue is not resolved yet ) I also asked Danny to enquire with Mercedes Uk if this was a known issue, after sometime he returned with a print out stating this is a known issue & Mercedes Uk authorise the replacement of the headlight units if the condensation is extreme. So the vehicle is returned to the dealership, with the outcome that all is satisfactory no problem found. Having spoken directly with Mercedes-Benz Customer Service & emailing over the photos I was information that each dealership has an undisclosed budget from Mercedes Uk to resolve similar issues, that the dealership is paid by Mercedes Uk for any warranty work carried out. So the big question is will Inchcape Loughborough replace the headlights? I will further update you on progress & additional information of which I am unable to disclose as this dispute is on going, But be reassured I will. In the meantime I’d strongly suggest if considering purchasing a premium brand car is headlight condensation a know issue, do a google search there are several videos, make your own mind up, the salesman’s not going to tell you.

Never go back , lots of promises, salesperson then reversed my nice new car into a metal bollard and damaged the back bumper I couldn’t believe it still waiting for the manager to apologise

I went today to Mercedes Loughborough interested in buying an E class coupe 400 petrol announced on autotrader. The salesman didn’t show any interest or professionalism . Just said the car was not available today as they use it as courtesy car for their customers. When asked to see the interior of a similar car, just said I could see the interior of the saloon version as they are the same. He showed me a basic version of an E saloon but not even bother to turn the car on to adjust the seat. I am not sure if I will waste time to visit another Mercedes dealer, but I am sure I will not buy at Loughborough. The salesman doesn’t have the excuse of being in a rush or busy as I was the only customer at the store and I went there at 3 pm.

I first my purchased my own Mercedes E Class Cabriolet in December 200n3 from, Mercedes in Loughborough and was lovingly cared for by Warren. Since then I have purchased another 4 Cabriolets from them and my husband bought an SLK. The main thing that stands Loughborough head and shoulders above the rest of the dealerships is their service department, yes the cars are brilliant but it is how you are looked after from then onwards. Previous service managers have been okay, since then I have been looked after by Chris North ever since he moved to the Loughborough dealership, he is the best ever, IF Chris moved to another Mercedes dealer I would have to take my custom with him, he is such an important part in the Mercedes Benz experience. He is always smiling even under pressure, very understanding, professional and extremely efficient - so much so I will not deal with anyone else, if Chris is not there I wait until he returns. He has such passion for the service he provides to his customers - he is definitely a 5 star employee of the Inchcape group.

We recently purchased a used mercedes GLC from Mercedes Loughborough. Our sales consultant Andy was extremely helpful, patient with all my queries, and wasnt pushy, I would highly recommend Andy who answered all my questions , and there was many! but was also professional in his approach, well done Mercedes for having great staff who are a credit to the brand.
