Sold a car in Feb, MOT'd in Feb this year and it has 8 MAJOR, DANGEROUS FAULTS that are not classed as wear and tear and are indicative of a fraudulent MoT (VOSA been informed). The owner Rick Freely refused to help at all and following a letter being sent under the advice of Trading Standards eventually agreed, under duress, to refund the price of the car plus £150 so called "goodwill". He made buyer return the car himself despite him seeing the vehicle health check, carried out by Bristol Street Motors, that clearly stated the car was unroadworthy and dangerous. When we returned the car this morning he referred to the before court letter and attached evidence as "this pile of £@#% you sent through" despite it being cc'd to Trading Standards and a lawyer. He tried to get out of the £150 "goodwill payment" by saying the car had scratches that weren't there when sold. He even made buyer sign a piece of paper to say he would not leave any bad reviews. This car will probably be sold again and i just pray it doesn't result in a nasty accident as it is very dangerous. Please don't send anyone you care about to this place.

As someone previously mentioned, the measure of true customer service is how they respond when something goes wrong ! I can’t speak highly enough of Lynx Motor company, I bought a car from them which turned out to have a fault with the Dual Mass Flywheel and required replacement, this is an expensive repair it actually cost £1200 to replace. Lynx agreed to replace this (and the clutch) FOC as part of the month warranty. I needed it replacing before my holiday where I was towing a caravan down to Cornwall, they couldn’t get the parts in time so allowed me to take it to a garage of my choice to get the repair done and picked up the bill. I thoroughly recommend Lynx, as my experience right for the moment I stepped onto the forecourt has been pleasurable especially the people who run the business from and very nice ( no pressure salesman) Glen, to the very fair and honest owner Rick. I wouldn’t hesitate buying another used car from this garage.

It's always a daunting experience when buying a used vehicle, but my husband found the perfect little van for his needs at Lynx Motor Company. It was made ready to drive away on the day of purchase with a 3 month warranty. The only problem that arose within that time was the bonnet support, which was fixed by the professional mechanics there without any quibbling. I bought a car from Lynx Motor Compnay, they gave me £400 for my car in a part ex they said that's all its worth I went back 2 days later and it was up at £2495 and they did not do a thing to it.keep away from them.
