I purchased a Ford focus for £10000 from them and within 20 minutes of driving the car from their dealership, the engine light came on, he claimed he would fix it took the car and next day brought it to me with no proof of what has been fixed. They told me if there is any issues in 14 days they will refund. 1 hour later the car had an engine fault I took it back to them, they said there is nothing wrong and to get a diagnostic done from an independent garage. I got the diagnostic done from Halfords and they said they was shocked the MOT only passed a week ago with so many clear mot failures, there was £2000 worth of damage. I then communicated to M & J autos and they said these are small issues and not worthy of a refund. 3 days later the engine started rattling loud and the car eventually stopped working completely. They have still not offered a refund, disgraceful instead they said they will take off price of the engine replacement in the refund value, please contact me if you have been through the same thing 07892471148

We bought car on 3rd July as soon as we left your premises this started mis firing, then again, We took this back, and the fault was digitally corrected. Again, when I took this, it had a fault and Aziz said to go and have the diagnostics completed from a known company. Again, which we did, and he still refused to acknowledge the defects or to provide options to correct them. Also said he would refund me if I provided the diagnostic, again he refused. Also, I told him on that day that the car isn’t driving at all and he again no concern of how your customer has been mistreated. They had known the car had defects before you sold this as this should have passed the MOT. The MOT was fraudulent. I am your customer, and they should give me my money pay within 30 days which they aren’t acknowledging. These are the facts. No fully service history Vehicle is not of satisfactory quality or worthy to drive. Unsafe to drive on the road. This is a safety concern. Fraudulent MOT knowing tyres were bulging and other defects Halfords had raised and said this shouldn’t have passed the mot. Overall, they never keep to their word, and acknowledge that they sold a car knowing it was faulty. Since we bought this, we have been complaining to you and they aren’t acknowledging the faults however keeps on sending messages and communication but never go through or keep to what you are saying. Conclusion is you have sold a faulty car and I should be refunded fully. Please don’t trust what they say because they don’t keep their word. Fraud and scammers. He said warranty- we haven't received the engine warranty or AA service. All salesmen speech but they don't give this to you.
Bought a car here as AA accredited. Problems from the start. Faults supposed to be rectified with MOT not done. No attached notes on MOT cert. (which AA were subsequently wary about). Slow puncture wasn't - needed a new tyre within a week of purchase for damaged tyre which should have been picked up by MOT. From day 2 warning lights came on. 8 visits in 9 weeks were met with stupid reasons for the light, a reluctance to fix anything despite report saying CAT needed changing and an oil leak. Left car with them when the AA said we should NOT DRIVE it, just return to M&J. Even then, they wouldn't fix faults - only moved with AA intervention. Subsequent engineer's report still found faults. AGAIN, only remedied after AA involvement. Refused compensation despite my son's car being off the road for nearly 3 months, stress caused, inconvenience of having to take him to his job at 2am. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! They will do the minimum they can get away with. Would never trust them.

I went in, looking for a specific car I saw online wasn’t as expected and the lad was kind enough to show me around the forecourt, ended up buying the same make but different model and i absolutely love this car. Had it for 8 months now with no issues
Went to look at (and hopefully buy) a Vauxhall Astra convertible. The guys knew that we were travelling 3 hours to get there and over the phone told us the car was in good shape and had no damages. Finally arrived there to find the car didn't start properly, the roof didn't open (broken button), the CD player ripped out, key scuffs of side of car and a smashed registration plate. Absolutely fuming

Bought an Audi A1 TDIS line from M&J Autos, car needed tracking I was told when I put it into the garage found out they had a rear bent axle to bent shocks and a bent wishbone,Garage told me they would only put secondhand parts on which I declined told them I would replace the parts then refusing to pay for any of the work done currently in the process of being repaired I will be taking them to court and reported to trading standards.

Hi I see you've responded to my review just below yours. Excessive rust on my car which is an MOT fail. Broken parts all around the car. Refer to this website if you approach Trading Standards as I've spoken to them just last week. It's a long procedure to take them court but claim all costs relating to the car. Loss of earnings, storage, keeping on insurance etc. These guys are the scum of the Earth an should be taken down through whatever means possible.

We currently in the process of taking them to court please call us and I want to know the outcome. They are scum.
M & J Autos sold me a Ford Focus which was falling apart. They clearly glued some of the parts together so it gets me home but that was it. The problems have ensued since. According to my mechanic, this car was not roadworthy. Avoid coming here at all costs. Seeking legal action and reporting to Trading Standards. Going to do what I can to get these guys shut down. I can see from the reviews a lot of people agree with me. AVOID!!!

Jay in response to Avoid
Hi Mohammed, sorry to hear I’ve been through the same thing, may I have your number mate, I’ve been through the same thing and taking them to court
After looking around the car we were assured by M & J Autos it was roadworthy (and it should be as it was a 2016 car with just over 10,000 miles on the clock). After getting it home and having it looked over by a mechanic the next day we have been advised that it should NEVER have been sold in such a dangerous condition. Brake fluid is leaking from the brake hose, the anti-roll bar is bent and the entire underside of the car is smashed to pieces. We were also forced into taking out a warranty with M&J Autos as part of their rip off £199 admin fee. This was not negotiable and they insisted we had to take it. It costs £199 but only includes cover up to £500! We insisted on paying part of the purchase price with a credit card so we have added security. They are not answering the phone to us so we have asked the credit card company to return the charge and instructed them to claim our costs back. We have also reported M&J Autos to Trading Standards.
