Mike from M & T Motor Company in response to Rubbish service

this review is not 100% accurate the customer was promised an mot an oil and filter service at point of sale which was completed he mentioned he thought the timing belt may be due soon so we did this included in the original sale price where other garages would have charged after collection the customer called to say he expected a full service i explained we promised an oil and filter service and even did a timing belt but out of good will if he bought the car back i would also replace the other filters out of goodwill this was offered a good half dozen times however the customer never came back instead he went to a local garage to get them done then sent a threatening email saying he wanted the money re-imbursed i did explain we had not authorised the work and had offered to get it done this end but out of good will would settle the bill but i would need an invoice made out to us for accountancy purposes which he refused but to put the matter to bed we paid the bill which was 3 times the amount it would have cost us to do the customer also said he was not happy with the 2 keys he was given which were the same 2 he was presented with when viewing the car for in excess of 2 hours and the same 2 he was given on collection of the car which was in excess of an hour he said 1 was not an original key from factory the keys were both working and fully functional but maybe one had been replaced at somepoint prior to us owning the car again the customer took it upon himself to get another key and presented us with a bill and threatening emails we again covered the bill all be it it took a few days to settle as i was out of the country on holiday and a colleague did reply to an email saying i was out of the country and would deal with the matter on my return for my colleague to get an abusive email saying it was lies and it was me replying trying to hide ?? i would also like to point out i offered on more than one occasion for the car to be returned and i would give a full refund but this did not happen so i am not really sure what else i could have done ?? i offered to put things right that didnt need doing out of good will i offered a full refund and paid over inflated bills so i feel i went above and beyond
