do not buy a van from this dealership or parks stirling for that matter.been into both looking for a quote for the new transit custom van,i took time out to go in to the dealership,talk to the salesmen at both dealerships,they had a look at my part exchange & i would get a quote within a couple of days.still waiting yet!!waste of time.
Booked my sons fiesta in for a knocking noise from the steering. 68 plate bought just before last Christmas with a year's warranty. Took a day off work and drove almost 90 miles to the dealership. Described the fault in detail and left with them. Got a phone call to say that they couldn't trace the fault. I explained that the fault is detailed on the Internet as a common fault but this was dismissed. Also informed after a health check that the rear tyres were nearly worn to the canvas and were dangerous to drive when in fact the centre 3/4 of tread as per mot criteria were still legal. Charged £144 to be told nothing wrong with the steering. Strangely after a week of driving the noise is no longer present. Wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone.

wanting to downsize my audi a8 to something more economical but not knowing what i wanted ? called into PARK'S at perth. met by a smartly dressed young man who intreduced himself RYAN MacKINNON nice manner and friendly,swapped plesentries before getting down to the real reason for our visit.told him our requirements ,budget etc. looked at different makes /models.picked one that i liked but was in holding bay not in perth,buthe gave us all the spec that was on the car and assured me that i would not be dissapointed,so i gave him the go ahead to get the car for a veiwing .so 7 days later we motored to the showroom to inspect the vehicle,which i was NOT dissapointed with. very pleased and a very nice experience ,very impressed with all aspects of selling my old car and buying my new car and ryan for being very plesent and professional.100% satisfaction.
If I could give Macrae & Dick Perth Ford place no stars then I would. I have NEVER received such poor customer service in all my life. I had my car delivered to them with an electrical problem for their diagnosis and repair. They had the car over a weekend and on the Wednesday I had to call them to ask what was wrong. Firstly I was told that the "powertrain control module" was burnt out and a replacement would cost, along with the work already done(work??), around £1600. I had no option but to allow them to continue and replace it as it is a specialist part which could only be provided by Ford. On the Friday, again, I had to contact them before being told that they were unable to program the PCM as their internet connection to the Ford main computer was not connecting properly. Someone would call back later to let me know how they got on. They'd had the car a week! The TUESDAY after, someone did call to tell me that they still couldn't get an internet connection. Wednesday I called them again only to be told that the "cambus relay" had suffered corrosion damage and they had now repaired that but it had also blown another electric module. Cost went up to £1800 + change. With the car already in their hands I allowed them to carry on. On the Friday I was told the car was ready so went to pick it up. TWO WEEKS they'd had it. I turned up, paid and went out to the car, only to find the windscreen badly damaged. They had not said anything and if it had not been so noticeable they would have allowed me to drive out of their premises. There was a large star shaped smash where a sensor is located behind the rear view mirror and a foot long crack running from it downwards and angling off to the drivers side. At first they denied responsibility but finally agreed to replace the windscreen. Again I had to leave the car with them. When I picked it up all seemed well but I have since noticed that it was NOT renewed but was only repaired. I have since spoken to a windscreen specialist who informed me that it is dangerous practice to repair any damage larger than a two pound coin. DO NOT GO THERE ON ANY ACCOUNT!!!!!!
