We have just bought an historic vehicle from macwest motors, what a pleasent change, no salesman in a designer suit and tie, but a real down to earth guy, what i call old school, says it as it is, thank you brian, nothing was too much trouble, yes he had some sales banter, but you should be able to see through that, everything was expertly dealt with, even down to the timing of the delivery, and i live 120 miles away, many thanks brian, i can highly reccomend this firm.*****

Bought a few cars from Brian and always received good service , last car was Ford kuga which has given me 5 yrs trouble free motoring ( couple tyres and pressure switch in that period) so I’ve got nothing but praise ,

Booked to view a car for tomorrow with the intention of buying and taking away same day. Never asked us for a deposit as we’d asked if it would be ready to go so knew we had intentions of buying. For the guy to ring us today saying he’d sold the car. Not very professional considering we had booked Wednesday to view Sunday could of said he’d already had potential buyers and if we didn’t buy then sold it. Absolutely disappointed.

Bought a cracking used Honda Jazz here in top condition and at a great price.Service was excellent by a guy who knows his stuff.Practical and down-to-earth speaking highly of his service staff.Definitely recommend this place and would make it my first port of call next time too.No hard sell either.

When I made an enquiry about a Jag for sale I asked about trade in for my car and supplied detail. The MACWEST website states "trade in welcome. "Then received a message by text "Sorry not interested in px." When I replied that the website is misleading as it states trade in welcome I received this message. And I quote " ok then how about we don't want your petrol guzzling high road tax car does that sound ay better rather than saying we don't want to px.". If this is the level of staff in this dealership then make your on mind up about going there.

Bought an old Hyundai in very good condition from Chris and Brian. Friendly and efficient service from these guys. Had the car checked out by an independent mechanic and HPI Ed it. No problems reported. Have recommended the garage to family and friends. Will definitely use MacWest Motors again. Cheers, John

Was just passing and thought I would view a car, the owner of this garage wins the award for using the most swear words in a sentence !!. God help anybody with any disputes after a purchase with Macwest Motors.

My recent purchase a VW Passat is the second car iv had from Macwest Motors. The first was superb so I returned in good faith. My recent purchase has been nothing but trouble. Its been back 4 times, the 4th times with a list of numerous faults only one of which was rectified. It was returned the 4th time with the following: constant dropping into limp mode, misfire when cold, battery constantly going flat, parking sensors not working and the electric handbrake intermittently not holding. If truth be told I can’t be 100% sure what information was relayed to Brian as he was on holiday when I took it the 3rd and 4th time however the only issue rectified was the limp home fault. The rest is ongoing. Brian seems a lovely fella but I think iv been stung with this one and I’m looking at trading it in because it would appear iv bought a lemon this time. Don’t think I will be returning to buy a third car from Macwest motors
