I got a ,207 from Neil at Maidstone cars and on agreed price I was owed a service, and told a cost of replacing cambelt &water pump which was a good deal, after using car for a few months I called Neil about work and was pleased when they came collected car took to workshop and completed all work as agreed on sale, it's good to meet a car dealer that kept there word.

I've been really impressed with the service from this dealer. From my very first contact, they have responded to all correspondence courteously, promptly and fully. They agreed to show me a car on a Sunday, even though this is not a normal opening day for them. There was no hard sell, their prices were reasonable and they were very accommodating. When the car I bought developed an issue [not their fault], they drove to my home to collect it (over an hour each way), offered to leave me a replacement car, got it fixed quickly and delivered it back within a week. Oustanding!

This dealer has been in my home town since a was a child my dad often looked here for cars too! just bought my third car from Neil and Cara all Jaguars! From initial contact to picking up the car is always good customer service. They have an ebay group too which good for looking at their stock list. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if they have the right Jaguar and give me a good PX for my current Jaguar. Have had to take the car back a couple of times for a fault and they didn't hesitate to put it right. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently traded in our old Qashqai (for a fair value) and purchased a Land Cruiser from Neil and Co at Maidstone cars, right before Xmas. A few days later it developed a misfire and they paid for the repairs promptly and without fuss. I thank them for their decency and professionalism in working with me and would recommend them to anyone, used cars do go wrong but i know if it does these guys have got my back. Buy with confidence.

Hugely disappointed with Maindstone Car Company, faults highlighted 3 months ago days after purchase still not sorted , and they play games over pitting second hand parts of eBay which too are faulty , my car has never been right , still.in there alleged 6 month warranty, I've had to spend £900 to sort what they refused to do. Very sad that I trusted there word , never again will I go near this trader , all words no back up .

Thank you for the review, however we dispute the version of events. It is hugely disappointing to us after we have tried our utmost to accommodate a very demanding customer, (even with a Vauxhall Main Dealer’s assistance), that we have to defend a review which does not reflect the true situation. To state fact and to précis the whole the story, we resolved all initial reported issues with the 2011, 100,000 miles Vauxhall Insignia Diesel purchased for £3,495. This included replacing a starter motor (Lucas genuine and new), that had been diagnosed by the customer’s friendly local garage/friend. This was unnecessary as the problem was with an ignition switch, which we purchased from Vauxhall and duly fitted. We also replaced two 18” Alloy Wheels sourced via eBay, complete with a guarantee, plus a new tyre, as the customer was reporting a vibration between 70 and 90 mph. A Vacuum Boost Pressure Valve was also purchased via eBay to try and determine and eliminate a vibratory noise, the customer had not even requested that we address this. A loan car was provided during this time. At this point all reported issues had been resolved. A fresh issue, a misfire from cold was reported. The customer refused the assistance of our garage, even though they have Vauxhall Dealer Grade Diagnostics. And so despite the Insignia having covered 5,000 miles (in two months and four days), it was booked into Eden Vauxhall Bracknell, at Maidstone Car Company’s expense, for a diagnostic and health check. The vehicle was given a clean bill of health, the only four things reported by the mechanic were: “slightly corroded rear disks”, the customer had accepted that these and brake pads would need replacement on the next service at time of sale. “noisy vacuum boost pressure valve” – a modified new part may reduce the noise but may not eliminate it. At the time we asked Eden Vauxhall if they could fit a new Boost Pressure Valve whilst the car was with them but they could not. “a slightly heavy clutch pedal” – an “amber” advisory. “aux belt worn” - an “amber” advisory. A VIDEO AND WRITTEN REPORT OF THIS VAUXHALL INSPECTION IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW. After the Vauxhall inspection the customer demanded a replacement clutch and dual mass flywheel. Vauxhall had reported “a slightly heavy clutch pedal” they did not state it required replacement. The customer had not at any point complained of any issues with the clutch.
