I could write a 3 month report on how bad the service department is at Kia Maidstone. I have had to have a whole host of work done on my car - all under warranty. It should have taken a few days. I originally took it in in November and it is still not repaired. They never keep you up to date, never apologise for their mistakes, never listen to a word you say and lie to your face. All i ask from a garage is honesty and a safe car. This place will provide neither. Take your car somewhere else for your own sanity.
I will start my review of Maidstone Kia by pointing out that Kia cars advertise a 7 year warranty. We were told our brand new ceed 4tech would deliver 50 mpg ours did 29 mpg from new. The radio is not a dab radio, the heated seats did not work and the parking sensors were faulty. Kia Maidstone wanted to charge to their faults. Their 7 year warranty did not work after 7 days. The car has lost £11000 in value over 18 months. We would not recommend Kia head office neither would we recommend Kia Maidstone, they I have been told have a high turnover of staff in their branch. We found Kia Lifestyle in Tunbridge Wells more helpful and professional but would we buy another Kia? Definitely not.
