Unlike others we actually received a car from Mangoletsi Knutsford, but only after literal months of needless back & forth. My partner & I were on the market for Tesla & found a good option advertised by Mangoletsi. We contacted them & immediately Karl Hobart was on hand to sort us with information on the car & payment, even throwing in free delivery. Karl said the car needed some updates & valeting but that it should be ready for delivery when we need it. It all seemed perfect, until we paid the deposit. when delivery was initially planned for 3 weeks later we were told the car was not updated or valeted so was not ready (what had they been doing for 3 weeks?). From this point communication on their part stopped entirely. I don't know if they receive commission for sales, or a decent wage - but they won't contact you whatsoever. If I didn't ring & pester them I genuinely wouldn't have heard from them again which is crazy. Delivery was scheduled for week 4 (which wasn't good enough), but was mysteriously cancelled as Karl said that he had noticed the boot didn't open fully & needed to order new parts to fix it before delivery. If they checked the vehicle as they stated then this would have been found on day 1. It turned out to be a lie as when the vehicle was delivered, it was the first thing we checked & there were no new parts anywhere in the boot (it was even rusted as it was clearly the original & working fine. This was incredibly frustrating. Over the 8 weeks they would ring us just a single time. This was on week 5 when Sam Horne, a manager, realised that Karl had taken an illegal payment of thousands over the phone & wanted to fix it immediately to save themselves. I knew from buying pretty much anything that this was illegal, but at this point would try anything to speed up the deal (what car sales company is unaware of this law?!). Despite the funds leaving my account instantly, the refund processed in 3 days, meaning that for that time we were without over £30,000. With the dodgyness of the company we were concerned that we may not see the car or money again. Thankfully it was returned, confirming that this was a genuine company no matter how terribly run. That illegal mishap meant that delivery was to be delayed yet another week, & we were starting to believe that the car wouldn't come - which even led to us starting to look at other options for an easier life, even though we really wanted the car. Mangoletsi showed no urgency to take funds or send the car. I was ringing Karl & Sam every day for clarity & was often told lies that they were busy or not in when I knew that not to be the case. At this point we hadn't even been sent an invoice or any documents. When Karl did send the invoice, it was the incorrect figure. It appeared that they couldn't even get the basics right time & time again. After reading other scathing reviews online we had lost all excitement for the car arriving, & had almost lost interest. We viewed another car & agreed with that seller that if the car didn't arrive by next week we would go with him. Nobody around us could believe how bad this company were. The car finally arrived by week 7. A miracle. After inspection we noticed that the car hadn't been cleaned inside or out, the boot had clearly not been worked on - & worst of all the windscreen was broken as the glass had a big crack down the bottom corner. They lied about valuable features within the car such as the winter heating package, which was not present. They obviously knew this but sent it down anyway hoping I wouldn't see. I called Karl & he said he would sort it. They ended up wanting me to claim on my insurance so it would be as cheap as possible for them (dodgy). They also said that they would pay me a compensation figure for all of the defaults. Since this I haven't heard back from them & don't think I will again. The absolute worst car company I have ever had to deal with. Difficult at best, illegal at worst. I strongly advise staying well away.

Well where to start really. This dealership has had my jeep for two months and still the repair has not been completed. I was told the part needed to be sourced which I appreciate can take perhaps up to a week or so with it needing to be shipped but it took well in excess of this for some reason. I have since rung the garage on several occasions for an update (no curtesy calls from them) the last being after my MOT and service was scheduled to be done ( I have since received reminders this is overdue!). I was informed it would be done by early this week and after hearing nothing I again chased them, today, To be told the technician was working on it... Im due to go on Holiday on Friday and so need a car. When I asked politely ( though i was fuming inside) for a courtesy car I was told they had nothing until the 14t of August.... now this is a garage we are talking about. I should add I have paid for the part and work ( via pay assist) so Im stuck. Its too late for me but my advice to anyone, is steer clear ( no pun intended. Shocking. All the gear , no idea.
I bought a new electric car. When I got home the was only an 13amp charger and no charger for public charge points. A couple of other small issues. I’ve tried phoning and emailing but after 4 days I’ve had no response. Twice I’ve spoken to staff and they told me the salesman would get back. He didn’t. I tried contacting other options on the answerphone but they too go to ‘leave a message.’ I’ve contacted the CEO and sales manager ( email addresses not difficult to work out). If no response I’ll go to their other profiles on social media. It seems my last option is to go back to the garage and give the car back under the Consumer Rights Act. If you use them then I’d suggest you keep a diary of every attempted contact and if you do speak with anyone then get their names. I would NOT advise anyone to use them.
Back in March 2023 I bought a second hand Stelvio from Mangoletsi. I paid in full and arranged to pick it up two weeks later. I live 4h away so planned a full weekend away in Manchester around the collection of the car, this included hotels, tours and hire car to get there. In the evening the day before I was due to collect they called me to state the car was not ready! This resulted in me having to extend my hire car at my cost or lose all the money I had spent on the weekend. Mangoletsi took the approach of a collective shrug of the shoulders, I would get used to this. I wanted to proceed with the purchase as it was the only one available in the colour combo I wanted, They then took another 5 weeks to get the car ready! When I finally got there, what sat before me was a terribly prepared car. Covered in holograms from, incompetent polisher use, The boot button wasn't working, the rear reflector was completely smashed and the rear wheel arch was hanging off. It only had 9 months MOT despite being advertised with 12 months. I only agreed to take the car when they agreed to send me a boot opening button and rear reflector and cover the cost of me having them fitted locally as well as reattaching the rear arch and extending the warranty. It is now July and a full 3 months on from my collection and they have still not sent me the parts and are now also ignoring all emails requesting them. I have bought many cars, from many dealerships and this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had and continue to have. I would 100% advise you look elsewhere.

Appalling Customer Service. Zero communication after deposit paid, complete radio silence and now chasing refund of deposit is like banging your head against a brick wall. Terrible.
NEVER USE THIS GARAGE AS OK TAKING YOUR CASH BUY AFTER SALES AS SO SO BAD ........MADE ME CRY THE WAY THEY TREATED ME .....I bought a car Nov 22. A part of the seat was missing I was promised it within a week now July nothing after emails and going to dealer in Knutsford and text after text. Call there a few weeks ago again ( this was a good day as I am disabled and some days can't go anywhere) I was struggling with walking with my stick but went the counter. As my message came up this morning on my car to say my service due. 🙄....WHY as I bought the car with 12 mnts service and I only did 3000 miles since November. Three people were trying to talk to me one man took the service book of my and changed the date to June before. Which to me was really bad i also said I had too have brakes and dics after not even 1,000 miles he waved the receipt I was showing him in my face as he took it off me and said we been coned he continued to do this and someone else joined him . With a raised voice what do you want his name was sam I was getting really stressed and thought I was going to faint I asked for a drink of water but was not offered chair by this time I wobbling on my stick to be asked to go too my car so they could check the part for the 10th time.i took the matter to trading standards then still did not respond. PLEASE BE AWARE ALL GOOD TOO LOOK AT UNTILL YOU WANT AFTER CARE AVOID

Broke my new car during a routine service, now i have another issue with it and they have had it for 4 weeks - they are not responding to my calls or emails and I have escalated it as high as i can.... I think i will have to go to the ombudsman as i have no idea what is happening or faith in them to sort it out. Shocking service.

Completely Understand your frustration I posted a negative review also and ultimately had to resort to help from the Ombudsmen, These dealerships need to be held to account. TBH I've not seen a good review! Good luck.

I have used this dealer for the past year or so with regards to servicing my Alfa Romeo Stelvio. I recently fancied a change and visited the car sales side of the business where i was looked after impeccably by a gentleman called Fraser Cameron. From the test drive, to the part ex deal, to collection of my new car i was looked after every step of the way. I cant recommend Mangoletsi enough for new or used cars.

Don't trust this dealer !!!!, they do not declare the true condition of their vehicles, having been a long time customer of this dealer and having spent hundred's of thousands of £'s on new and used vehicles from this dealer this clearly counts for nothing, they sold me a used Alfa Giulia knowing full well the engine was faulty, i can prove their service department have been trying to repair the low oil pressure fault it had and have since advertised it without mentioning their previous attempts to fix it. A true disgrace to the motor industry. i will be taking this further. so much for your reply, true to form no matter how many time i email no one replies.
