I purchased a Mercedes 4x4 from their “Too good to trade” portfolio. Utter nonsense and mis-selling on their part to call it this! It started when I was told that home delivery of the vehicle would be free, but then after purchase and when it came to arranging delivery I was charged £250. Before making the decision to purchase I was told of repairs that had been carried out, including a replacement battery having been fitted, and the brake pipes replaced. However it was only a matter of a week or two when the car wouldn’t start. I charged the battery (thankfully I have a plug in charger) and sure enough the car started. On taking it to the garage they tested the battery and found it to be faulty and said that it was certainly not new from the condition it was in. Shortly after the car lost all acceleration when driving at the national speed limit- very unsafe as I’m sure you can imagine! I decided to take the car to Mercedes themselves, who found further repairs required, ranging from glow plugs, parking sensors, brake pads and discs needing replacing to wheel alignment and balancing. Most importantly I was informed that the brake pipes were in an unsafe condition, and were not at all new- again Mangoletsi had lied about replacing them. I accept this is an older vehicle, but we are still talking about an £8000 car, not an unreasonable amount of money. I have since spent over £2000 making it roadworthy. Because of the age and mileage I would have no issue if Mangoletsi had told me there were a few issues and explained them- I expect this of a second hand car, but instead they chose to lie through their teeth and have avoided responding to all contact I have made since to request an explanation, refund or change in their practices. Clearly they don’t care about the poor service offered. The liar I dealt with is named Paul Madeley, if you can trust him to have told the truth about this!

Great guys for selling.... Absolutely terrible Aftercare. Its been over a month now of me emailing, calling and turning up. I have an electrical issue with a recently purchased jeep which it has been in once already. It still has issues and not once have they contacted me back. On another note the deposit was not taken off the total amount. They were made aware of this within the first few days. I have been told it has been processed and yet still nothing into my account. Buying a new car should be exciting and a good feeling alls I'm left with is bitterness and a lack of trust in the car. Thanks Mangoletsi.

Brilliant communication from Joe throughout the sale, nothing was too much trouble! Car was exactly as promised and he has checked in with us multiple times since collecting! We visited after seeing a used car via the website & came in for a test drive without necessarily being set on buying that day. We were approached by a salesman (Isaac) who was extremely relaxed & friendly from the get go. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase, he gave us all of the information that we asked for, allowed us to go for a test drive & gave us plenty of time to make our decision. Great price offered for our car for part exchange & all sorted and the car collected in the space of 2 days. Fantastic service from Isaac, we re-iterated to his colleagues and management that we felt he handled the sale and whole experience very well and made us feel at ease and able to make our own decision without any pressure tactics. Great handover on collecting the car, again a very relaxed experience with time to check over the car before driving away. Can't fault our experience! We will certainly be recommending Mangoletsi to our family & friends! Thank you Isaac & team.

Bought my car over three months ago! Randon person drove it here and been told that they never used him before and he arrived with a broken mirror a massive hole in my boot and scratched the whole side of the car and a tyre almost run down and while driving been pulled constantly to the side of the road, no car mats nor repair kit or spare tyre like payed for and stated! After getting quotes from two different places Mangoletsi and their staff Paul and Sam told me it's too expensive😳so we agreed instead of the 1500 to 2000 pounds quotes (to do the repairs their driver has done to tye car) to just 300 pounds into my account, the missing car mats and because also no spare tyre they offered a repair kit! I was MORE THAN PATIENT and they started to ignore me and don't answer emails nor my phone calls since over two months, absolutely worst service I have ever experienced! Thw car was 14000 thousand pounds and if selling I will lose a hell of a lot of money! Wondered already why this place has so many negative comments and I fell for it as I hoped it was some unlucky people! Now I am one of them! Thanks for literally nothing than a horrible service and a half broken car! Yes they offered me to take the car back with a loss of 500 Pounds on my side! JUST WOW! Thanks for nothing you bunch of horrible and money sucking people!

Once they have your money and sign you up for service plans that not worth the money you pay not interested!!! Won’t take any responsibility for any issues raised. Only interested when they want you to buy another car. Very diss-missive when complaint made probably because I am a female owner.

Made an online enquiry regarding a new Alfa and received a telephone call in no time at all. My requirements were given to the sales person - budget, part exchange etc and he said he would come back to me that day (Sunday) or the next day without fail. In the meantime I also received an email from another sales person the same day saying what they could do for me etc. No response from the telephone enquiry. Responded to the email enquiry and advised no response from the telephone enquiry and guess what no response either. They certainly didn’t live up to their values they advertise on their website. They failed in 2 out of the 3. As luck would have it I managed to source a new Alfa locally and what a difference in service.

I really would advise anyone considering buying a car from this place to look elsewhere. I purchased a used vehicle from their "too good to trade" used car outlet. Literally an hour before I was due to go to collect it I received a call telling me that it was "faulty" even though it had supposedly just been serviced. Over the following few days the salesman contradicted himself so many times and couldn't remember what he had told me the day before that it was obvious I was being lied to. Although I really wanted the car I lost all faith in this dealership and eventually demanded a refund. They couldn't even pull their finger out and do that straight away, again I was lied to on 3 occasions by being told that it had been issued. Disgraceful service from a so called main dealer
