I purchased my car from Manor Garage last week and am absolutely loving the car. The service was fantastic from start to finish, and they went above and beyond for me, The car was supplied with a quarter of a tank of fuel and was spotless inside and out. The service was professional, efficient and at no point did I feel pressured, I would not hesitate to recommend.

Manor Garage is a two bit crappy little garage run by the worst salesman I have ever encountered. I drove from the other side of Derby to look at a Jag there. The guy was entirely unfriendly and after looking at the car I asked for a test drive. He asked if I was committing to buy it and I said I wanted a test before I committed. He had the hump about that and asked if we were looking at other cars, which obviously you do when you're buying a car. Then said we should go and look at the other ones first and only come back if we were committing to buy his. He seemed to think he is the only person selling used jags in the area but I was able to pick one up at a garage with a much nicer salesman later that afternoon for 300 quid more but 11k less miles on. Guess he doesnt like money.

There was a nice looking red volvo c30 on autotrader being sold by Manor Garage in Nottingham. I checked the recent mot reports online and it stated that the front headlights were out of alignment and loose. ( I did not think that was anything to worry about ) upon looking at the photos again, I noticed that the wheel arch "under cover" was coming away on the bottom corner. As it was being sold by a dealer with good reviews I called them to check that the car had not been in an accident and that I was travelling from Heathrow. I was told that it was okay as far as they were concerned and it is up to me if I wanted to view it. after two and a half hours driving we arrived at Manor Garage. The car looked nice but you could clearly see that the front bumper did not line up with either wings, I checked the lights and they did "wobble" in and out and on one of them I could see red paint spray through the gap. ( he was ignorant about everything) "they are held on with one spring ( which he indicated to me ) pull it and the whole light will come out, the spring is probably lose" So I replied "pop that light out and show me" ( the one with the paint spray on it ) he replied that he did not do anything with cars! So we went on a test drive and the car started to shake at around 30 mph and his response was that if I go around 80 mph it will go away and that the wheels need balancing!!! ( I suspected it was a drive shaft ) I ask him if we could balance the wheels as I would like to take the car today... his reply "I'm not rushing around because you want the car today" Bad Dealer, Bad attitude and Bad business! Please get an AA, RAC check done if you are not sure because these rouges are ruthless

Gary from Manor Garage Ltd in response to damaged car
Hi Eugene, We are shocked that you have left us 3 really negative reviews on 3 different websites. We have noticed that your girlfriend has also left negative reviews. Firstly i'd like to state that we are not 'Rogue dealers' or 'dodgy dealers'. The car you have complained about has not been in a crash, the C30 is all HPI clear and has no damage to the bodywork that suggests it has been in a crash. It's a lovely car with brilliant service history. We also welcome any inspection from the RAC or the AA. We first spoke to you on a 'RECORDED' phone call on Friday the 23rd, I have since re-listened to the conversation. Our salesman was nothing but polite to you, while he was answering some of your questions you were rudely interrupting him and even laughing at him. The phone call eventually ended with us declining your offer of £5500 when the car was priced at £5895, you also then proceeded to tell him that we are bad at marketing because we declined. We will happily let any future customers listen to this phone call if anyone is concerned about this review. Despite us declining your offer. The day after on Saturday the 24th with no prior warning, you came down to view the C30. From the first second to the last, all you was doing was picking fault with the car. The bewildering part of all these terrible reviews, is that you wanted to drive the car away. Despite all your 'concerns' you still wanted to drive the car away?... Unfortunately you couldn't because all our cars get MOT'd when sold, to make sure they are fully roadworthy for all our customers, no other customers seem to have a problem with this. It was a Saturday and all our mechanics were closed. To be truthful on our part, we were also reluctant to let you drive the car away because of all you criticism you was giving the car. You are probably already aware that the C30 has now been sold (two days after you came). So we're sure that probably added to your momentum to write these horrible reviews. We are really disappointed, because these reviews can really damage our business. If you was so unhappy with the car why didn't you just walk away from the car rather than leaving us so many negative reviews. We hope that any future customers can see through this review and decide what we are like for themselves. We also have many reviews from verified customers on autotrader and our website from customers who have actually brought a car from us. Thanks Gary
The Skoda I bought from Manor Garage has been spot on! The boys there deserve top marks as they've been helpful and I've had no problems. I would recommend!

Manor Garage Nottingham are very unprofessional sellers, even if he knew l'm coming from London (160 miles away from the garage) he didn't bother to clean the car inside, the service book was totally wrong for what they was saying in the advert , l couldn't test the car , l wasn't allow to start the car by myself or to look proper into the engine compartment. The car was having more mileage on the clock then was advertised, and the seller experience regarding the car was awful. I had to show them the service book details (witch l founded in BMW dealership from a single phone call)and the mots paperwork to prove them that the details that they provide it in the advert was totally different...... you can't treat a client when he wants to buy a 13.500£ car, offer him nothing, just:" you like it you buy it, but don't touch it". VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, not about the car, because l couldn't test it properly, but about the seller. He looked like he was hiding something.....l just walked away from them , and l still can't believe how this car dealer is selling his 13.500£ car.
Gary from Manor Garage Ltd in response to They don't know what they are selling
Hi, we apologise for your experience and your journey down from London. Customer service is very important here, we treat all our customers friendly, equally and fairly. The car you viewed was £13,695 not £13,500. I did explain to you that the car was being used by ourselves daily so the mileage was only a little bit higher than the advertised figure. All the service history was correct, the service stamp you pointed out had nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't a main agent stamp, we had the invoice to proof that the service was valid, I only started the ignition myself as it was at the front of the forecourt (not blocked in) so it's just our policy to be careful, we weren't hiding anything from you, I still allowed you and the person you were with to check around the car for as long as you wanted however when customers who aren't mechanics start taking the engine bay apart I kindly ask them to stop, I instead reassured you that we were going to get the car MOT'd and checked over by an independent garage when the car is purchased by someone. I do feel that this review isn't 100% accurate in places as you have stated that you chose to walk away from the car based on experience, however you only chose to walk away from the car when I declined to reduce the car to a price you wanted. The car was already great value, this was later proved right as someone else viewed the car later that day and bought it at the price on the screen. Despite all that, we do understand that you are disappointed in missing out on the car and we apologise for any inconvenience you experienced, we hope you find your perfect car from somewhere else. Thank you
I am very pleased with my Audi from Manor Garage! I have had it for a few months now and I have had no issues with it. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and the car was clean and in good shape. Very nice people, I would recommend manor Garage to anyone.

I bought a car from this dealership a few months back. The car is great and just what I wanted and at first the dealers were really helpful and friendly. The only down side is that when I experienced issues with the car they didn't really want to know which was a shame but I have to say I would recommend them based on their customer service in the beginning and the cars.

Perfect experience, I bought a Honda in June. The dealers were very knowledgeable and happy to help and the car is great I have only had one issue with it which was resolved within 24 hours. I do not have a bad word to say about this dealership and I would recommend them 100%

Manor Garage were excellent, I went down to the dealership and they offered me a cup of coffee, we had a good chat about the car and they told me all about the ins and outs of it, he was a genuine bloke who was very easy to deal. I'd definitely recommend them.
