Purchased a vehicle which was advertised as being sold with a 12 month warranty. After a major fault became evident 5 weeks later I informed Junaid Ali Shafa (or 'Junaid I'll Shaft-Ya' which may be more appropriate), and was promised that the car would be booked into a garage for repair. As many other reviewers have reported, this was the first and last time he answered any of my calls, letters etc. I contacted the warranty company myself to enquire about the so-called warranty which the car was advertised with, only to be told that there was no record of any warranty being set up for the car! Currently in the process of bringing a court claim against them. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of purchasing from this company to take a good look at this and other terrible yet factually accurate reviews they have received.

Very pleased with my purchase, was abit sketchy at first buying a long distance car without viewing. John did a detailed video call pointing out even the smallest of chips on the bodywork and when the car arrived I realised it was actually much better than I expected, a week in now after doing 70 miles a day and I’m over the moon with it. I called maple 2 days ago to say a rear window stopped working and they ordered me a new motor straight away and transferred the money for fitting, what more can a person expect. 5 stars from me

i had a terrible experience with these dealer. Due to the trust I had for your company I bought the vehicle without even coming for inspection. I believed in the words of the person I spoke with (Junaid), he assured me that the car is in perfect condition and I can always reach him on the phone anytime I have concerns. I was given a 3 month warranty when I explained that I will not be driving the car at the moment , because I need to learn to drive a manual car and sort my licence first. A few days later I checked the car. I noticed some noise from the car, the engine cover missing, the back window not working, issue with engine, timing belt in a terrible condition,. The seller (Junaid) has been avoiding my calls immediately after delivering the car. This goes a long way to show that there is lack of integrity. I have never driven the car since it was delivered. Now I did a comprehensive check at the car dealership, I am informed that the Timing Belt is bad. Oil pump gasket and some major fault in the engine. I sincerely feel cheated as they not live up to their words. They will never pick your calls immediately you pay them... I am very dissatisfied. Mr Junaid only picked my call this afternoon when I called him with another Unknown number. He told me he does not work for the MAPLE motors anymore. They are very fraudulent in nature. I will advise you avaoid them at all cost.

Bought a car online from this dealer and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Car was as described, communications were fast, and delivery was ahead of schedule. I recommend Maple Motor Group.

Put deposit down on car, went to collect and no V5 and said it will be fine. No, no it wasn't. Wouldn't answer calls, wouldn't return calls and got nasty. Now we have a car on our driveway that we cannot use. Be very aware of this dealer.

I took my daughter to purchase her first car, the salesman explained what we should be looking for explaining about different insurance groups, tax bands and fuel costs, we ended up purchasing a beautiful corsa 2012 and 2 months later we are still loving it as much as day 1 so 5 stars for Maple Motor Group 👍

If I could give these guys less than 1 star I would. Had an awful experience buying a car from them. The whole process from start to finish was terrible. Avoid these people! Rude people on the phone, car had many issues, claimed to fix them after chasing many time. Car passed MOT even though the brakes didn’t work properly, how!?! Key was basically falling apart and unuseable, told that a mobile key replacement company would fix and they would pay, used the company but got billed for it personally told they would give me the money and still waiting till this day for £130 rang Junaid Ali Shafa the owner of this company he fobs you off, ignores your calls and is now saying company doesn’t belong to him and trying to palm off responsibility of refunding the money for the key which he said he would. Everytime they promised something they failed to deliver, I did all the chasing. Everytime they promised to pick up the car for repairs or deliver they failed, it ended up being pushed out by days and weeks. I can’t express enough how horrible the experience was with these people. Don’t and I repeat don’t put yourself through the hassle. Go elsewhere!!

Hi, I had the very same none customer service and deceptive selling aproach recently. However, they picked on the wrong guy. They trade on Autotrader as Carfac Ltd T/a Maple Group. That company is dissolved and therfore they are putting cars on Autotrader in a fraudulant way. I have now issued legal proceeding against them, reported them to trading standards and the HMRC. They wont be trading much longer.

The car sale was agreed easily enough and delivery was organised for 4 days time. I told the company that it had to be after 3.30pm as I was not here to accept it. On the day I get a text to state that they would arrive 1.30pm. I messaged back to say this could not happen as I was not there and it was agreed 3.30pm. They argued to say this was not the case but agreed to wait for 3pm. Come 5.30pm still no car, I then get a message to say it had broken down and the EPC engine light was on. I contact Maple Motor Group who say this is a lie and the car is fine, but the driver has turned around and come back, and told me that excuse. After then trying to reorganise delivery with Maple Motor Group, they seemingly did not want to sort this terrible experience out, offered no solution or apology and despite my best efforts for them to reattempt delivery they gave up and said we can’t do it and gave the money back, 11 days after the sale was made. This is despite their Autotrader and website stating they can deliver anywhere in the UK. This whole experience has been woeful and it is clear Maple Motor Group should be avoided, their customer service and ability to rectify an issue has been dreadful and we are now back to square one. Any decent company would bend over backwards to sort an issue out like we experienced. I have a feeling they sold the car locally days ago and have just been messing us around pretending to organise delivery. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a car, either near them or UK-wide.
