AVOID AVOID AVOID. I brought a Peugeot 306 from them about 4 years ago. The day I was suppose to collect it they told me "something was wrong!" So about a week later I went up with my mom to complain and say I wasnt having the car. They brain washed me. I went to drive the car home but I didnt even get it off the forecourt before the car told me to "STOP" on the dash board. So I went back in, They said "they would look at it and order a part" and then said I had to make my own way back home as they couldnt give me my old car back. About a week after I left the car with them, I heard nothing so I called them up. They said they had "ordered a part" and was waiting for it to arrive. But it would be ready within the next week. Another week passed, and nothing so again I called and asked them what was going on. They said they were "still waiting for the part to arrive from edinburgh" I was like hmmmmm. A few days later I phoned them and told them I no longer wanted to car, and asked them to cancel the finance. They all of a sudden said the car was ready to be collected. I went over again waited an hour, finally spoke to the "manager" and they said they would give me 2 months free finance! I said it wasnt good enough. They refused to have the car from me and not give it me, so I ended up with a pile of crap. Should never of taken it, as the problems really started. About a week later the spanner sign came on to say it needed a service, even though MA said it was serviced and MOTed before it left the workshop. Well shockingly, when it was being serviced, it was noticed that the passenger wheel arch was as smashed in, holes everywhere, brakes were down to the mental, it appeared to of been in a crash, and there was picasso suspension parts on a Peugeot car. I raised a very formal complaint and got no where, I took it to the financial ombudsman and they couldnt do anything about it as MA was not responding, giving false information and called me a liar, even though I had all the evidence to prove things. About 9 months later I was driving to work, and my engine light came on, again it had told me to stop, so I did. Once I got it to a garage, they told me the engine was a dodgy one and I shoukdnt if been driving it full stop because it was so faulty. I decided on that day to get rid of the lethal item. Luckily I did, as when I took it in to get my new car, the engine started steaming up, temperature gauge on the car was hitting red. Absolute death trap they are
Mark Andrews Used Cars sold my daughter a car with new MOT and apparently serviced to manufacturers spec. Car was found to be dangerously unroadworthy with a dodgy MOT, they refused to accept the car back and didn't offer to do anything under the 6 month warranty. Now taking this scum to court. They shouldn't be allowed to do business. Avoid!! Avoid!!! Zero stars

Mark Andrews Used Cars prey on people in need with bad credit. They sell cars that are faulty and refuse to talk to you even though you're within warranty. I am in the process of getting legal advice as my car broke down in December (AFTER putting oil in it despite the light coming on as I was driving, 5 minutes after the light appeared it broken down resulting in the vehicle needing a new engine). Despite paying for a mechanic to diagnose it myself, I only bought the car from them in July! MA Car Group blocked me on facebook and refused to help at all. Disgusting service and awful salesmen. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Ileana F in response to Faulty cars, didn't deserve one star
Hello, they give me a faulty car in February 2018 now I can not find them on facebook and the website is unavailable, Can you please give me their new facebook address or their new name? They change the name, and they have 2 address: Mark Andrews Car Centre Walsall, Unit 3 Bloxwich Lane, West Midlands, United Kingdom and 74-76, High Street, Moxley, Moxley, West Midlands, WS10 8SD. Thank you
Initially Mark Andrews Used Cars bent over backwards to sell me a car, however before even driving 30 miles the car packed up and the engine lights came on. They 'fixed' the car but within a month it happened again and i was told by an employee that they had reprimanded another employee for doing a 'botch' job. I have a small child and rely on needing a car but i'm scared to drive too far as it's unsafe when i lose power as i cannot get above 10mph. I have sent a complaint and never received a response then was told that they needed to order a part, which i had to keep calling about as have never been in formed that it had arrived. then when part did arrive i was told they couldn't fit me in to fit the part. I have constantly rang for a week to recive no reply so i turned up at the garage to walk into what i can only describe as a CHOP SHOP, i was informed that the lease on the building was up and they were moving (although people working at the next unit said they were moving due to being broken into on several occasions recently) i even videoed the state of the inside of the warehouse so have recording of the conversation held with an employee who promised to call me within 10 days to fit a part that was supposedly ordered before Christmas. Everyday something else seems to go wrong with the car, the reversing camera works intermittently, the handle on boot of car is falling off and the drivers door has never shut properly and on one occasion actually opened whilst i was driving along. Find it odd that they no longer have working telephones and that they have removed their website just for an address change!!!! Will definitely be taking legal advice as paying for a car completely unfit for purpose! Gutted, out of pocket and fuming to say the least. When purchasing the car it had had a 2nd MOT done within a month of the first however after 3 months of driving warning light comes on stating needs to be serviced!!!!
My Grandad recently lost his wife and needs his own car to get about to hospital appointments and day to day running but these dishonest low lives have taken advantage of him and pressured him into buying an unsafe car that loses power and cuts out when hes driving! Its given him nothing but problems since the day he had it and he doesn't feel safe driving it! He tried to return the car in the cancellation period but they refused to give him a refund? He called up to complain and spoke to a woman who claimed to be one of the managers but she just shouted a load of verbal abuse down the phone at him and hung up! He's found this whole situation very upsetting. To treat a vulnerable elderly customer this way is quite frankly bang out of order! There seems to be a lot of people online saying they got ripped off as well! Maybe its time these people get taken down a peg or two... My Grandad fought for this country and deserves to be treated with respect I'm thinking about taking this to the media you might be seeing an update to this fiasco on TV soon....

i'm unsure how a woman shouted abuse down the phone at you as they do not have any female employees ?
Emma` in response to Misled an elderly customer!
In the last 5 months i've dealt with 2 female employees so not sure how you can say there are no female employees there. i have names and even multiple recordings as proof. Maybe you just haven't met them!!
Do not buy a car from Mark Andrews Group, so not worth the hassle they sell faulty cars then won't honour the warranty or refund your money I'll get my money back through the courts if they won't do the decent thing we'll see whos laughing then!

Fuming.. total wastet of my time! They tell you what you wanna hear (a pack of lies) to get you through the door then try and force you into buying the rubbish cars that nobody wants! I would suggest to Mark Andrews if you dont want people giving you bad ratings listen to what your customers tell you! And another thing I'll tell you for free is learn to count or failing that invest in a calculator because you haven't got anywhere near 400 cars theres not even 40 your website is fake! Rant over!!

Not happy at all with Mark Andrews Group!!! They are the most unprofesional, uncaring people I have ever come across. They sold me and my husband a faulty car and are refusing to take the car back and refund our money. We have tried to complain but they never reply to emails and its impossible to get a manger on the phone all they do is put us on loudspeaker taking the mickey like its just one big joke to them! My husband contacted them via their FB page thinking that might get us somewhere but all they did was delete his comment then blocked him from the page! I'm struggling to understand why we are being treated like this but reading what others have said about them it just makes me sad that companies like this can exist in this day and age. If anyone reading this has had any luck with going above their head to get the finance cancelled I would realy appreciate some advice because as it stands we're being told we're liable to pay 8 grands worth of finance for a car that won't even start! I wish we had seen these reviews before we signed anything :(

Tina in response to Avoid This Company At All Costs!!!!!!!!!
Hi Julie, sorry to hear what you are going through, they sold me and my fiancé a faulty car as well and I just want to give you some friendly advice, they are a pain in the arse to deal with but if you know what your rights are and stand your ground you can beat them! Mark Andrews approach to handling customer complaints seems to be just shout as loud as possible over you down the phone without listening to you, (wtf!) however, back in the real world customers have got rights to reject faulty goods under a law called the Consumer Rights Act of 2015, you mentioned they don't reply to your emails, if you've already emailed them to complain and they haven't replied they've shot themselves in the foot because you can go straight to the Financial Ombudsman to report them for not giving you a response to your complaint, type Financial Ombudsman into Google their phone number is on their website or if you like you can just email them like we did, the agreement you signed when you bought your car is with the company your car payments go to so your complaint needs to go against them as well as Mark Andrews then if you get a refund its up to them to get the money back from Mark Andrews then you don't have the stress of trying to chase them up to get them to do the right thing. Send copies of your emails to the Ombudsman to show you've already tried to complain then take your car to the maker of the car like Ford or Vauxhall or BMW for a full inspection then send that straight to the ombudsman. When you've sent the report Mark Andrews might try and ask for a second opinion, they did when we were trying to get our money back but getting a report from the maker of the car carries more weight than if you were to go to a normal garage so the ombudsman are unlikely to agree to it if they try to challenge the report. My boyfriend was saying from the start our car looked like it had been in an smash, of course they denied it every time we tried to tell them but when we took it to Vauxhall he was right all along they could tell it had been in collision because the computer knew the crash had set the airbags off so that was all the proof we needed, they didn't have a leg to stand on our complaint was upheld and we got all our money back, they also told us that they wont deal with Mark Andrews anymore because of all the complaints they were getting! They are a truly vile company to deal with so I do know what you're going through. I hope this helps you Julie. If there's anything you want to ask me just drop me a reply on here. Best of luck!
Emma` in response to Avoid This Company At All Costs!!!!!!!!!
Hi, i am experiencing similar issues and i emailed them about my complaint and never heard a response. They were meant to order a part for the car and i've never heard anything off them. i feel like i am constantly chasing them and it's becoming very stressful. I told them they could have the car back as it constantly loses power. i had an apology off one employee as they said that the initial repair job had been botched. The driver door does not shut properly and the sill on the back door keeps falling off. if anyone has any advice to offer i would be very grateful.
NEEDED A CAR, MARK ANDREWS USED CARS APPROVED ME AND GET ME DRIVING AWAY SAME DAY GOOD SERVICES.
