Went to Mark Andrews by chance the best day ever. The service was excellent all the staff were helpful but special thanks goes to nicola who could not do enough to help sorted everything out and I drove off in a BMW was exactly what I had been looking for will definitely go back for my second car.
I was so shocked that I had been approved for finance as my past leaves a lot to be desired I had no idea how much this woulf affect me in later life . Mark Andrews not only got me approved they were able to offer me a variety of cars (a choice of 7) that fitted my budget and that I comfortably afford the repayments . My sales man Paul was most helpful and we discussed choice of cars over coffee and a biscuit, it was really relaxed and friendly . I liked it because they did not judge me because of my past . Nicola who sorted my finance was down to earth, friendly and explained everything in easy simple terms. She gave me mobile numbers just in case I should have any problems. I love my new mini one and I will be going back once I have worn this car out .
It's not enough giving one star. Please if your considering going here read this. OK so please bear with this post because it's just a complete farce. So December 2014 we purchase a Vauxhall Vectra from Mark Andrews after getting approved. We agreed on a payment plan over the phone arranged a day we was traveling to get it and everything seemed great. We got a car with good mileage and perfect for what we needed or so I was lead to believe. When we arrived on that fateful day we arrived earlier than our scheduled appointment (thank God we did) a full 2 hours before due to less traffic on roads then expected. We were offered a seat to discuss the car then later chased away due to another person arriving. Now I was OK with this due to the fact that I was early and ok it wasn't my time. During my wait coming from the head office was loads of abuse from what appeared to be a manager to who I believed must of been someone who defaulted on a payment just be verbally abused but this was now not the case as I will get too. My time then came and went I still hadn't seen the car or made any real headway in getting the car. Me and my family becomeing evermore anxious. When we was called to sign the agreement I said well I've not seen the car or nothing. The salesman went on to say how my car had been sold but they had one and went on to explain the car. Full service history and all up to date. Absolutely sound and a great car. I then asked to see all evidence of service history which was promised but first they needed more signatures first. Yes partly may fault and my nievity but before I knew it I'd signed so many paperwork that I then suddenly felt I'd been pushed so far that I couldn't retreat even if o tried. I voiced my concerns to the salesman who reassured me full service car in full working order and we can see the car shortly after tracking device and clean had been completed. OK now I arrived at 12 my appointment was for 2 and now at 5:40pm close to closing time your cars ready Mr blah blah. Finally did you have to build it. I went outside and it was running with doors open. ALARM bells. I switched the car off and tried restarting the car. It struggled but it did. After the chief mechanic came out we were told it's been idle for w long time but it just needs a run. I reluctantly took his word for it. Next hang on hang on where is this service history. The boss then said look the creditors take all the cars paperwork for checks. We couldn't sell it for the price without the service history once we have it back we will forward it on too you. Long story short the car was absolutely shot. Dual mass flywheel and clutch broken. Which is why it wouldn't start and might I add this is during the drive home that very same day. And they were shut so I had no choice but to stagger my family home for the cold December night. The cam belt had a bolt sheered off. Only one glow plug worked. Very very poor car. Mark Andrews response was to throw abuse down the phone at me and my partner. Call me a words I can not repeat on this website, lie and fob us off with the service history is on its way then eventually admitted they had never had service history. We had huge bills that got us into financial difficulty. Please please don't make my mistake. But my story has a happy ending. I provided all evidence to the Financial Ombudsmen Service and Trading Standards and I have won the case. The car is going back and my and my families dreaded hell is over. Don't be won over by the sweet girls on the initial phone line. They are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Ruined my Christmas and almost my family home. But hey Mark Andrews I Won. And I hope all other negative ones here take this advice and fight them back. We have a voice and just because they are a business doesn't mean they can treat us customers in this way.
I was in Dumfries yesterday, top quality staff and service. Didn't think I would get finance but drove away in my 2009 Hyundai i20 would definitely recommend them.
I was up in moxley on saturday morning with a warm welcome, the service I recieved was tip top. My credit history is as bad as it gets but they still helped me and gave me finance on a 2009 ford focus 2litre tdci titanium, im over the moon and will definetley be back and totally recommend mark andrews cars to anyone. Thanks mark and staff.
My review of the whole process from start to finish was fantastic. I dealt with Dill from the Wolverhampton office who was friendly right from the moment you walk in the door, everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand and Nicola was also very helpful and nothing of the whole process was hidden, you could see it all and there were no hidden surprises like other company's do. Thank yoy very much, and I was able to get a car that I am very, very happy with.
Bought a Renault Scenic from Mark Andrews and had nothing but problems. Was told it was taxed for 6 months but after driving around found out it had no tax, contacted him and he said that it must have been another car he was talking about. Then had problems starting the car so he had it back and charged me 180 pound to fit a second hand throttle body. When I got it back I had a ATA qualified technician look over it. It was sent back in a dangerous condition. A clip was left of the break lever securing it to the braking system which means the pedal could have come off leaving me with no brakes. The battery terminals were not tightened so could easily come of and battery was not secured and battery cover was missing. The air in take pipe had piece snapped of leaving a hole clearly visible causing air been sucked in from engine bay. When I contacted him about the issues he was arrogant and saying I had purchased second hand car not a new one. He had it back where he then glued a piece of plastic over the pipe and put a broken battery cover on. There were still problems with it starting and I tried to get a refund to be told I couldn't get one and he would no longer be working on the car so the 12 month warranty was worthless. Tried to go through trading standards who were useless. Ended up spending more money to correct problems. I would never recommend anyone buying a car from these people.

Absolutely amazing customer service from the Dumfries branch. Especially Michael, Paul and Jade. Made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Love our car and wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to anyone.
This is my second car from mark i never had problem with my first purchase and am sure the level of work will carry on well done mark.
Avoid MA Cars. They always have a time to sell you a car. But they don't care about You later. I have an Insignia . that I paid £10 000 for. They said that the garage checked this car and everything is ok. However on inspection there was a broken lamp and no card for sat nav. I've being told that they'll send me this stuff in a next few days, however this was 4 months ago. I called them every week to chase this but to no avail . Pointless. Since owning the car I've changed the cambelt , break pads and plates, whole exhaust, front tyres, joints, lamp, engine oil, windscreen wipers, as card. I would not recommend Mark Andrews cars.
