Mark Andrews Car Centre. DO NOT have a car from this place Mark Andrews Car Centre , we bought a car last year on the 15th August 2015 and this week it was due it`s first MOT, it failed on tyres,,, the tyres on the rear of the car both sides had been installed incorrectly, there is a stamp on tyres that say `INSIDE` this wall of the tyre goes on the inside of the wheel arch,,, my wife and children have been driving around in a car for the last 12 months that was dangerous,,, because the tyres have been fitted incorrectly they have worn in a manner they are designed not too, making them extremely dangerous in wet conditions such as today as the tread on the tyres is the wrong way round meaning there is no grip to the road surface and water is not displaced correctly, this could cause severe Aqua Planing if an emergency stop situation occurs, not only this but last year when we bought it and took delivery of the car it should have been an instant MOT failure, i contacted the garage in Bilston that conducted the MOT and Passed it to ask why a car with MOT failure tyres was passed in the first place, they said it was fine when it left their garage, these tyres are a full matching set and have never been off the car since we have had it, there`s not been any punctures or any cause for us to have the tyres replaced, there is no spare tyre so were we to have had a puncture Green Flag would have been called out and would have a record of this,,, we took the car back to Mark Andrews In Walsall on Wednesday to request they address this issue,,, they refused,,saying for all they know we could have had the tyres replaced even though we showed them that they were a matching set, they said they would book us in and get the car up on the ramp and sort it out for us but they didn't call us back either,, so my Wife is now at a tyre garage having the tyres replaced and there is NO LOCKING WHEEL NUT in the kit in the boot, i'm not all that bothered about having to pay for new tyres or having the good tyre on the rear taken off and turned around,,, what i am bothered about is the fact they they are selling used cars to people that are MOT Failures and people aren't realising this until 12 months later when a new MOT is due, i am disgusted by their lack of customer service, their lack of concern for customer safety, My Wife has just came home because the tyre place can't remove the wheels as we don`t have a locking wheel nut.

I cannot thank your reviews enough. I have come so close to dealing with these people but after my phone call with someone from their Dumfries branch with a promise to call me back which they didn't bother doing. I thought I would check some reviews out for this company and it doesn't matter where you go on the internet for reviews on this company 90% of all that is written is negative with some false & some questionable 5 star reviews. Having read the reviews about Mark Andrews, I feel so sorry for those that have been misled by this company and have suffered financial loss and stress. I am just glad I did some research before pursuing things any further.
They sold us a car car with a previous immobiliser box from a previous finance company which unabled the car to even start for MONTHS. Let alone they didnt tell us this but the way they treated us when we complained about it is what is seriously shocking! Their warranty is of no use as the garage they recommend that 'accept' the warranty will keep bowing you away and are unprofessional. Sent them so many emails to complain and never got even an apology back. P.s the car was sold to us DIRTY. They offered £10 to compensate for it after lying saying the car was all valeted as the contracts were being signed. They will deny all responsibility for selling a unreliable car but we are letting the ombudsman do their job! Be VERY careful! No matter how desperate you are like we were, DO NOT just take their word for anything. As soon as they will have your money, they will treat you like rubbish.

I totally agree they have done the same to me and my wife terrible company cant even get there paper work in order or anything for that matter now im gonna be without a car that is now putting pressure on me with my job terrible terrible company.

Not to mention, they blocked us on facebook when we wrotr the complain on their facebook page! I won't let this go without getting justice & you should do the same! Complain to the ombudsman! They shouldnt be treating people like this

Excellent service from the whole staff. Walm welcoming atmosphere and they made me feel comfortable whilst I waited for my car. So happy with the service made it all seem so easy. Would recommend to anyone who is in need of car finance
I purchased a car on 13th may 16 2 days into having the car there's problems, in which Mark Andrews took the car back done repairs as they say ? Got the car back a day later and still the same problems again 2 days later my car is back in the garage having more work, baring in mind I live 30 mins away and was having to take time out of work to get to and from the garage, then more issues with the car take the car to the warranty company in which they say nothing is wrong and the noise would be too much of a big job to find where it's coming from ?? but yet my car is making really loud rattling noises?? There happy to leave it like that :/ after chasing mark Andrews getting no calls back, being put on hold I gave up. The next issue my contract was so rushed they let me take the car home to ring me hours after saying he forgot to take the deposit and could he meet me I said no il drop it in the office which I did the next day so that shows there the paper work wasn't done properly! The next thing I have a letter three saying I breached my contract and now need to pay over 10 thousand pound or my car is being repossessed ?? Iv only had the car 32 days and now having all this stress. There's loads more I could go on but to cut a long story short I now have the financial ombudsman dealing with this situation I can say for least they know what they are doing very professional! Just please don't use this company, it just not worth the headache.

Stacey whist we appreciate reviews of our service that are factual we find that this review is not exactly truthful. You obtained finance and were made aware that the lender required you to have fully comprehensive insurance with an excess of no more than £500 , you chose to select insurance with an excess of £3000 and due to this the lender has informed you that you either have to obtain insurance as per the agreement or pay the finance in full now this is between you and the lender and has no relevance on our service. You then claim that you have a problem with your vehicle yet despite numerous contact with ourselves you have failed to mention this to us until yesterday and then decide to leave a review without even giving us any information or any opportunity to resolve.

I believe you, iv had nothing but trouble myself and a lot of others too and since they cant be bothered to resolve this or even phone me back. Im taking a case up with the financial ombudsman.
Staff were all extremely polite and couldn't be more helpful. Neil and zack found us our car and we couldn't be more happy. We got a good fair deal considering we took out a bad credit car finance. Neil is absolutely lovely as were all the staff and made us feel very welcome. We are more then happy with what we came away with and would recommend this company to anyone. I went to Mark Andrews to enquire about some cars I saw on their website. The salesman went above and beyond to get the deal done i m happy with the service and would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a vehicle.I got me the car i wanted hassle free and made sure rates were right would recommend to anyone. Zack was awesome to deal with and treated me with respect and made sure everything was taken care of.
Andrews with 5 stars (I would have rated them 10 stars if that option was available). The entire team was wonderful but Lori exceeded my expectations as a customer. Lori did an amazing job in making sure my van gets repaired. She took extra care of every little concern that I had and she made sure that I don't leave with my van until everything was perfect and until I was absolutely satisfied.
We would like to say a GREAT big Thank You to your staff, especially, Tom, who talked with us on Saturday and started the paperwork for us to be able to finance another car. We returned on Monday and spent 2 hours with while he worked with the loan until he found a car to fit our budget. which we really appreciate... he went above and beyond to do this for us...and we have the "perfect" car for us.. we rate this car lot with the 5 Stars that they advertise...Thank you all for your hard work to get everything just right...
