Really happy with the service we received at Mark Evans. They guys were happy to answer all of my stupid questions and for us to put the car seats and kids in the back of the car to make sure they fit properly and our three kids were comfortable. I’m normally a bit wary of used car sales people but these guys were very helpful and honest. We’ll be back when our daughter passes her test!

We recently purchased a 2010 VW Polo from Mark Evans Car Sales and i have to say the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. Upon arrival we were very impressed by the presentation and quality of vehicles that were available. Mark and Ben were great to deal with, knowledgeable and informative but not pushy. They had alot of cars which we liked but settled for test driving two cars and then decided to put a deposit on the Polo. We picked our car up 3 days later with a new MOT. Mark and Ben were a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend these guys if you want a great car with minimal hassle.

Picked up my lovely new car today from Mark Evans Car Sales. I have to say Mark and Ben were lovely to deal with and did all that was agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guy to anyone looking for a quality low mileage car (which is hard to find in Cornwall).

After two phone conversations to check its suitability, I made an appointment with Mark Evans Car Sales to inspect a car which I wanted to buy for my wife (it was her seventieth birthday the following day). She has "life-limiting" cancer and we need a small runabout for her while she can still drive. I made arrangements with our insurers to cover the car immediately if we bought it and I transferred the money needed into our current account so that we could pay with our debit card.. We drove to the dealer (more than an hour away, so not great for my wife in her condition) and arrived at the promised time only to be told that, in the intervening two or three hours they had sold the car to someone else who had seen it when passing by. I later checked our phones and they had made no attempt to contact me to save us the wasted journey. Obviously they should have told the other person that an appointment to view had been made (and was imminent) and that they would contact them if the car was unsold. However they chose a quick sale in preference to honest professional business practice and proper customer care. By so doing, they caused us considerable distress at a difficult time and I shall be ensuring that our many friends and business associates in the area know about this appalling behaviour.
