**Disappointing Experience with Marshall Hyundai - Gloucester** I recently purchased a Hyundai Ioniq from Marshall Hyundai in Gloucester, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Within just a week, the car started exhibiting serious issues. First, I noticed a disturbing noise coming from the rear end of the car when driving at around 50 miles per hour. I contacted the dealership and booked an appointment to have it checked. However, when I brought the car in, the mechanic drove it for half a mile at speeds under 20 miles per hour and declared that there was nothing wrong. This cursory examination was clearly insufficient to diagnose the problem. Secondly, I discovered that the boot lid had been repainted, indicating that the car might have been damaged or involved in an accident before I purchased it. This was never disclosed to me at the time of sale, raising serious concerns about the dealership's transparency and honesty. To make matters worse, after booking another appointment and driving the car for about 20 miles, I stopped for fuel only to find that the car was completely dead afterward. I had to call the AA to get my car towed back home. Overall, my experience with Marshall Hyundai - Gloucester has been extremely frustrating and unsatisfactory. The lack of proper diagnosis, potential undisclosed damage, and the subsequent breakdown of the car have left me deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable and transparent car buying experience.

I am very pleased with the service provided by staff dealing with an annoying rattle from the steering and rear brake squeal on my secondhand i10. In particular Sarah in Service Reception who organised everything. I would recommend this Dealer for car purchase and repairs.

Been a customer for over 10 years bought my new Kona Nline last year but the after sales support is very poor. Purchased the usual Gap insurance, along with the recommended Tyre, Paintwork/ Minor damage, Alloy wheel repair etc; but after about 3 months had a minor accident with rear paintwork and trim damage .Tried to make a claim but was refused a repair saying it was not included in the insurance. Marshall dealership suggested I make two separate claims which I did, to mine and their surprise it was refused again. Marshall manager said he would pursue the mater,3 months later they could still not get a resolution from the insurance company, I decided to contact the insurance myself and after reading the policies more in-depth I discovered that each one accept the Gap policy we’re not really worth the bother due to a lot of disclaimer clauses, so I decided to ask for a full refund,they only partially did this within 2 weeks I then contacted Marshall and asked for the balance of the premiums to be refunded by them as they sold them to me. This they did again within 2 weeks, I had not contact from them telling me this had been done, it was only by checking my bank account I realised it had. I managed to sort the problem with 2 weeks which they could not do in 3 months. I would strongly recommend to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle from them please read any extra insurance information before making a purchase. I will not be using this franchise again in the future unless a full apology and explanation as to why the did not bother to sort this matter quickly and keep me informed. So please take care if using this company.

In November just gone I discovered water getting into the boot of my Hyundai Tucson. I made an appointment to get this checked out and subsequently got an booking for my car to be repaired by a 3rd party repairer. I duly delivered my car to Marshall's last Tuesday, 2nd January and was told it would take a week. I have since discovered that it has only been inspected today, Monday 8th January and work on my car has not even been started! I have had to contact the repairer directly to obtain this information! The level of service, or rather the lack thereof, I have received from Marshall Hyundai has been appallingly bad, they never phone me back to inform me of the progress on my vehicle and there's always an excuse as to why they cannot provide me with a courtesy car! I am extremely disappointed especially after the excellent performance of the salesperson who I dealt with when I purchased the car last March!

After a puncture where the alert let me know I had low pressure I went to a tyre supplier and identified a tyre with a screw in the side wall. Unable to be repaired purchased two tyres. Fitted and inflated to 35psi, the recommended pressure. The TP sensor would not turn off telling me that I had a low pressure situation. Rang Hyundai Gloucester and asked for advice, was advised someone would call me back. Forty mins later no call so rang back, again advised someone would call. In all made 5 calls to this dysfunctional dealer, promised a call back each time. 6 hours later no call back., but I have resolved the problem by calling a friend in the trade, not Hyundai, 👿 Frankly your customer service is disgraceful, sadly your cars are good but I will not be replacing my current vehicle through Gloucester, I’m not sure if I will even return to Hyundai, (I have had a recent quote for a replacement vehicle which I was about to accept). Just so you can identify me my reg is VU21UHF. I am very sad to say that Hyundai Gloucester are very quick to sell vehicles but the subsequent customer service is non existent, I have had new vehicles from BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Volvo, yes good customer service has a cost but I now believe it’s worth paying for.
Contacted Richard Bishop at hyundai gloucester to part exchange my i10 for a Kona. Well, what can I say? Richard is a credit to the company. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained thoroughly from start to finish. Absolutely first class customer service.
