Bought a Hyundai i10 for £6000 from Motorline Hyundai in Gloucester in December 2018. 13 weeks later took it back for its first mot and service. They failed it on brakes, discs, undertray missing and 2 tyres worn. I’d driven 2,000 miles, mainly going to and from work. They refused to discuss and kept repeating ‘wear and tear’. Will never buy a Hyundai again.

We are hugely impressed with the service team at Hyundai Gloucester. We take both our cars there and we had an issue with one of the cars, which was fixed with no fuss, in a swift professional manner. We couldn’t thank them enough for the service we received.

Took my car in for a software update at Hyundai Gloucester for my I40, and it went wrong. Was told they would need it back in at some point. It was not until I was half way down the road that I found out this meant they had broken the whole computer. I now have no sat nav, temperature control, Bluetooth, radio or even a clock. Was told I would get a call Monday morning and got nothing. Called and told they had not even looked at ordering the part. I have had to cancel a trip to see friends as traveling without a radio, sat Nov or temperature control and a young baby is just not feasible. Was told by Motorline they would only provide another car if they had one free but, they had nothing (this after me giving a courtesy car back to them after not being told there was a Problem!). Was also told by them this could take a couple of weeks and therefore complained to Hyundai direct and this has made them say it will be done by the end of the week but, again no calls or updates. Very disappointed and constantly just being told they don't have enough staff with illness and people leaving. Seems like it is not a happy working environment and management need to improve their standards. I would recommend staying away from Hyundai if you live in Gloucester as you will get stuck with this garage unless you are willing to drive to Bristol.
Westlands Hyundai were spot on, everything was really easy and straightforward. I just went, in signed some papers and picked the car up. There was no dramas, the car was spotless and the lady who assisted me was very friendly. The communication between the dealership, the finance people and myself was also excellent. I'm still waiting on a second key for the car but that's not enough for me to knock the rating down.
