When first visiting Mattews & Son Motor Company we agreed to meet them at 1pm, he didnt arrive till 1.45 and was very rude. However we loved the car so bought it. We were then told it would come with a year warranty from then. Car had complete engine failure a few months after purchase, they claimed there was never any warranty and refused to speak to us about the matter. Do not buy from here. He is rude and a lier

I was searching for a van for my new venture, starting a electrical business. I wanted something which would give my business a professional image and I found one on the net that Matthews & Son Motor Company had for sale. I left a deposit over the phone and picked it up on the Saturday. Really lovely van pleasure to deal.. Thanks guys.
Absolutely would not recommend for anyone to buy from Matthews & Son Motor Company. Firstly he refused to give a warranty, despite advertising that all cars come with a 3 month warranty. He then knowingly sold my partner a faulty car, which broke before we even got home! When we called him to inform him of this, he told us he would sort it out for us, and insisted we take it to his garage to repair (not local to us). He then told the garage he would be paying for the repair, so repair went ahead. Once it had been done he then refused to pay, stating that he didn’t have to and was incredibly rude. I would want to advise anyone NOT TO BUY from this man.

I was looking for a new transit as my old one failed its mot drastically. Found a nice one on Matthews and Son Motor Company's website and it was as described! Which makes a change as there are many dealers who miscribe there vehicles. I had a lot of wasted journeys. It's been very reliable and just the job for work.
Definitely recommend Matthews and Son Motor Company Limited to friends and family as they were friendly, straight to the point. It was clean and well presented .Ive had no problems with the cars, its all good.
