Despite the boasts of 'many fantastic customer reviews', and 'many happy repeat customers', I recommend any prospective customer researches this trader carefully before parting with any money.
The owner has sold cars with big expensive faults ie major engine or gear faults, including to myself. Hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds of work needing doing. And does not acknowledge the 3 month warranty he dishes out.
When a negative review is given online he calls them a scammer. Someone took him to court this year and won.
There's a fair old few that seem to say very similar things to the above.
And Mr Crook always seems to have what he thinks is a smart excuse. He is a terrible individual.
It has also been noticed that he has now started to amend his responses to negative reviews in the last few weeks. Some of these original reviews were actually created 5+ years ago. It makes me a little suspicious that he has just begun to do that...

Sold my car to Matthew at MDC Autos yesterday, he was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend this garage. I was all done in under 30 minutes, Matthew even gave me a lift home and took care of placing my private number plate on retention which is what I wanted.

I bought a car for 4000 took it back to mdc autos two weeks later with engine problems and was foged off even though I had three months warrenty then found rear window not demisting head light full of condensation car check multiple faults cost so far 410 will cost more to sort absolut ripp off my advice don't do it...don't do it!

This is Geoffrey Daniel Russell Foxall of Lea near Preston and he is a scammer. Garages beware and avoid selling / leasing him a car at all costs. We know of at least 3 other garages he has done this to locally. This is how the scam works. Geoffrey bought a 2013 Vauxhall Insignia from us back at the beginning of October. A few weeks later he brought the car back saying there was a fault. We brought the car in and checked it over, even performed a full diagnostic check but there were no faults present. We took the car for a test drive and again found no fault. We asked Geoffrey to keep an eye on the situation and let us if it happened again. That was the last we heard from Geoffrey until this review. As soon as Geoffrey left this bad review he was straight on the phone menacingly demanding cash from us. The original review said he had already paid £410 to another garage to fix the car. Since we started asking questions he has now increased his ask to £1,440 as you can see in his revised review above. He refuses to bring the car back and also refuses to show us any paperwork to show there was anything wrong with the car or that he has had it fixed at another garage. We have offered to fix it or give him a refund but he refuses both, instead demanding cash and refusing to let us see the car. He has since been constantly harassing our staff and demanding cash or “You’ll be sorry”! I’m sorry Geoffrey but we won’t be bullied and intimidated. Other garages avoid at all costs!!

We bought a ford s-max from here on Monday. Andy, the salesman was great from the start. He left us to look around the car but was available to answer any questions. He offered a great price on our old car for part exchange despite my old car needing some work.
We never felt like we were under any pressure to buy the car.
It's only been a couple of days but the car seems to run really well. We had an hour and 20 min drive from the garage, to our home and there were no issues at all!
All round great service and Andy went above and beyond to help us out.
Would definitely recommend.
