Had a nightmare lasting months to take this seller to a judge to get my money back, despite it being sold with ''no warranty'', contact trading standards if you have issues after buying a car from here or anywhere. Also DJ Motors operates out of their premises, selling cars through MDM/AM on Auto Trader, so buyer beware, check your invoice, sales receipt. AVOID.

Similar issue same company different name M&M ,BEESTON,SM MOTORS,LEEDS CAR MART, in process with trading standards at the moment my daughters 1st car after just passing her test got a corsa as cheap est on insurance , so lucky to be honest that me and my partner picked the car up to drive it home from Leeds to bury area I was to follow in our car whilst he drove my daughters got as far as hartshead services on the m62 where I had to come off for petrol just got on the slip road looked in my mirrors and was shocked and devastated to whiteness the whole underneath of the car was ablaze with my partner still in it at this point a massive bang and the engine completely had gone his years of experience and calm attitude paid off keeping his foot on the clutch he was able to make it to the top to be able to park safely away from other cars and people had to call the fire brigade as the whole front of the bonnet was ablaze before another couple of explosions really shocked and shuck up from this experience even more so thinking what the devastated outcome would of been my daughter driving or myself as well as other people near especially being rush hour ,couldn't get hold of the guy all that night went back next day to be confronted rudely and intimidating by his wife constantly saying it's got to be the petrol how much did we put in followed by him and a couple of what seemed friends of his couldn't seem to get thru to her or any of them even showing them photos of the whole front burnt out and videos of it on fire they wouldn't accept responsibility and said claim off the insurance so far she has already lost 600 for the car the deposit for the insurance which was nearly 600 the price would rocket unable for her to drive again if she claimed of it.
Made an appointment to view a vehicle, drove 2 hours to get there only to be told that the car had already been sold. time-wasters - AVOID!!!
Discusting customer service. Be careful when buying a car from these so called car dealers. Make sure you take a mechanic with you to check over any car you buy. The Warrenty you get with your car is not worth the paper that it is written on. I would never buy a car from mdm motors ever again. Discusting!! To be honest I don't even know how they are still trading.
Bought a mini one off these car dealers for £1795 took it back three times in 2 weeks they didn't fix the problem we had to pay for it fixing are selfs then it was going to cost us another £500 as the water pump as gone which was not working when we bought the car the dealers are just out to make money out of people I don't no how they can just sell cars which are not fit 4 the road. I am disgusted with the MDM Motor Group, just check what you are buying people.
Called MDM Motor Group and was told car was motd and ready to drive away, got coach from Liverpool. Only to find car had been out of mot since October 15 even though it was in advert car was motd in Jan 16. Completely wasted my time and money, just glad I didn't hand over 4K.
Bought a Volvo XC90 looked fantastic. Paid a deposit travelled all the way from Exeter. the problems started before i left the garage. Managed to get back to Exeter.took it to the main volvo dealership who told me this car had several faults and would cost a fortune to repair. Took the car back to Leeds demanded my money back (not an easy task). It cost me over £500-00 in fuel, train and missed work time. The garage would not even pay a pound towards it. If you buy from this garage good luck.

Having similar issues myself! How long did it take to get your money back? Currently finding they are refusing to adhere to the consumer rights act. Do you have any tips?!
Saw the car on autotrader anyone that takes the time to take decent pics are worth looking at i bought it over the phone very helpful although I have a stammer he took the time to listen car was as described he even arranged delivery first class service highly recommended would have no hesitation in using mdm motor group again.
If I was to do it all again I wouldn't use MDM Motor Group. Numerous issues have come to light since the sale, the after sales care is none existent and the customer service during was really poor. I still haven't got an MOT certificate. Not happy at all.

I honestly have zero complaints, the transaction was super quick and painless. Once I chose my car it was a matter of simply signing a few documents and coming back two days later to collect the car. Other dealerships I've dealt with were much slower and less responsive than MDM Motor Group, I was very impressed.
