Having seen a couple of adverts on auto trader we drove down and had a look around the forecourt. Great, several cars that match my criteria, so went in to speak to the salesman (I use the term loosely) with the intention of buying a £5k car in cash which I need urgently. I mentioned I'd seen a few and I'd be interested in taking a couple of them for a test drive. First response was, no we can't move all the cars around to let you test drive a few, we'd have to have a deposit, then we could let you test drive one (he doesn't make the policies). He asked which ones we were interested in, there were 3 of the same model and 1 different make. Instead of trying to narrow down the 3 to 1, he just came back with the same unhelpful response. I've never heard a salesman trying not to sell a car before. They boast "At Medway Autos Ltd we offer the very best levels of service. We pride ourselves on the knowledge of our cars and finding the right one for you." I'm guessing that must only apply when you're buying one of their top end cars, as I saw no sign of customer service at all, no help to find the right one for me, no offer of letting me drive the same model that was easier to get to, NOTHING, not even an apology! Needless to say both me and my partner walked out shocked and absolutely disgusted.

Beware of Medway Autos, the salesman will lie to you to get a deposit off you telling you it's fully refundable, do not listen to him. I should have researched the company before going there and can only hope others read this before they go. There are plenty of other car sale companies in the area, can only advise that you go to one of these instead.

By far the worst I have ever dealt or nearly dealt with, went to look at a car for £6,500, after looking around it and liking it I wanted to talk details, the guy spend over an hour looking but couldn't find any paperwork for the vehicle and didn't seem to have a clue about it so said I would come back another day. So 3 days later I rang and asked to come back, test drive and go through details.... Not a big ask.... When I got there the car was behind 10 cars and he wasn't willing to get it out until it was 100% that I could get it on finance which I already knew I could, the car only had 5 months mot and at first he said he would not MOT before the sale, he told me it was full SErvice history but wasn't services for last 25,000 miles and he refused to service the car first, he didn't seem to want to tell me too much and was so focused on what money he could get that we ended up just leaving, absolute joke, went to a main dealer and was test driving same car within 5 minutes, serviced, mot, 12 month warranty and everything else, no way would I suggest going back

Just purchased my new car!!! In love with my BMW!! Staff were amazing! Arranged for a driver to meet me at the train station on both occasions when viewing it to picking it up Now can't wait to show off my sparkling new car!!! Thank you Medway autos!!!!
