Paid a visit to the dealership today l was looking to buy a car today i was not to sure of the colour to choose when approached by the salesperson l said that I looking at the colours his reply was they don’t sell colours here we only sell cars not the reply i was looking for needless to say I just walked away
I ordered a Mercedes B180 through Motability. Salesperson Mark Miller at Mercedes-Benz of Glasgow was excellent throughout and kept me well informed including return of phone calls promptly. Motability car was for my son who has an ultra-rare disease and COVID-19 is currently around and this was worrying. On collection they cleaned the entire interior of the car with dettol wipes, and ensured the safety of myself was forefront. Emma Mair was the person who handed over the car and she was excellent. After I had ordered the car I found these reviews - . I don't know if the staff have changed or if they are just upping their game. Everything went smoothly for me. Only downside was there was only 62 miles of fuel in the car and the fuel reading was in the red. They knew I was coming from Edinburgh to Glasgow to pick up the car so I had to refuel on the drive home. Thanks to all in the dealership.

We have used this dealership for thirty years both buying and servicing. that may end soon. No visit in the last year has been trouble-free (we have an S-Class and an SL). Several have been because of unsolved problems from the previous one. We have a service plan and have never argued about prices - until now. S-Class in for a service; "my engine management light is on, please check that". Response; "it's not booked in for that; it'll be £140". "Just leave it". We will go to the independent Merc specialist less than a mile away. Is anyone at MBUK or in this dealership listening? Expensive customers for decades now walking away. Get some staff who know about cars and/or customer care; you have neither.
Shocking customer service is the only constant from the dealership. 1 year in from owning a GT 63s which wasn’t an inexpensive car & I have genuinely been astounded how bad a business can be from the initial meet & great, upflift of car, the non prep of car, the cars first service the list does go on. If you want to buy a car buy it somewhere else.
We bought our 3rd Mercedes from this showroom last March, and found the customer service was dramatically poorer than earlier years. To be honest, when (if) we buy another Mercedes we will go to another Mercedes dealership. From the initial viewing of cars to walking out the showroom after buying one, we saw 5 different staff, none of whom seemed genuinely interested in assisting us. We stuck with the Milton St showroom as it was near and they had the car we wanted at a price we were satisfied with. We had to call them about 3 times after collecting the car to remind them to put in car mats, for a couple of questions we had they never returned our calls, we could never get through on their phone number - and forget receiving a free umbrella or bouquet of flowers on collecting your (expensive & luxury) car - we got nothing! We got treated much better at Arnold Clark picking up our 2nd family car Volkswagen, golf. The whole attitude of the staff was just disappointing. I’ve heard the staff are no longer on commission based salaries, maybe that has something to do with the lack of service?
I would suggest you go somewhere else for a car or service. This has been a truly awful experience and the saddest thing is the dealership have no recognition that they are offering an appalling service with no apology or acceptance that this is so far away from good enough. I was about to buy another Mercedes and after this experience, I am looking at other cars! Don`t touch Mercedes Glasgow with a barge pole! Awful

I'll be brief about Mercedes Glasgow. No return of calls, e-mails replied hours later, incorrect figures/invoice at delivery, waited days for refund after forced to call MB Customer Services, I could go on. Sales Manager (Richard) called me and resolved refund very quickly. Thank you. Come on MB, you have a prestige brand however badly let down throughout the sales process. On a positive note ( and the reason for 1 star ) the car is superb.

I visited the showroom to enquire about an E Class. The initial visit was very good and the Salesman Ali couldn’t have been more helpful. However a week has passed and nobody from the sales team has bothered to contact me regarding purchasing the car. Stratstone Glasgow obviously don’t need the sale so I will take my business elsewhere.

Visited Mercedes Milton St last week, no hard sell was needed by the staff I knew exactly what I wanted! Mercedes GLC 250d AMG night edition. A young female member of staff came and spoke to me after sitting waiting for 20 minutes. I gave her all the details right down to the colour I wanted. She then said she would get her manager to work out a price. Enter Mark ..........he gave me an on the road price which seemed rather expensive when I questioned it he said no that’s not what you would have to pay. Well what is the price I will pay Mark? His reply was unbelievable............,.come back in with your husband and we will discuss it but I’m sure we will give you a good deal!! Needless to say neither I nor my husband will be setting foot in Milton St

Having found three cars that had my basic requirements for a C-Class Coupe, we managed to narrow it down to 1. The only question for me was whether I liked the colour, Iridium Silver. Mark, the sales representative at Mercedes of Glasgow, showed me another Merc in the same colour and I liked it. He then went away to speak to his manager and get a price. A couple of minutes later he came back to my wife and me with a price. After a little sweetener of a Merc watch, we agreed the price and we shook hands. A deal concluded.......I thought. My wife and I left to go home but on the way, I received a telephone call to say that there had been a mistake at their end on the list price for the car. They had entered the wrong number before working out the discount. When I went in the next day they wanted £4,000 more for the car and despite my protests and a derisory offer off £500 off OR 2 free services, they would not budge. The deal may still have been a good one, but I am not going to buy from a company that has little sense of what is their moral duty. The manager who Mark kept disappearing off to, did not have the dignity to even come and see me. He was even pointed out to me when he walked past a few yards away but did not even turn to acknowledge me or apologise. I believe his name was Ian. I will probably someday buy a Merc, but it will not be from this dealership.
