Poor poor aftercare service from Mercedes Loughton. They never call you back, cars are not checked prior to sale and they don’t take ownership of anything. Try calling them and you will see that it will just ring out and if you eventually get through they promise to call back but never do. Prior to sale I was sent the wrong credit agreement for a different car, log book is in a different address and they kept my deposit for a month! I have had nothing but issues with my car. It has been returned three times, spent a total of 3 weeks in the garage having only owned it for 4 weeks and when returned it eventually broke down in rush hour and had the recovery service take the car back to the dealer. I am now over 105 emails backwards and forwards, loads of broken promises of refunds but still waiting. Last email wrote “ watch this space” well three weeks later and still waiting! Try calling them before you visit and you will see that you cannot get through and imagine having a problem with your car and not being able to get through or get a proper confirmed response or it being followed through! Avoid them and find a dealership that has better after sales care.
Service people at Loughton Mercedes are dire. Useless representatives of a useless brand.
Terrible customer service at Loughton Mercedes, Phones are never answered and poor attitude within the team. Not a great representative of the Mercedes Benz brand. Wouldn't go back.
Am surprised this dealership is allowed to fly the Mercedes flag. You simply cannot communicate with them as never answer their phones and when you do get through the service is appalling at best. Shame because I was looking to purchase a new S Class cabriolet. Their loss went to another dealership

Couldn't agree more with this.
Booked car for repairs 2 month in advance and dropped as planned first thing, received call late afternoon to tell me that they ran out of time to attend my car due to workload and will not be done. Tried to book for another day and was told that it will be over a month wait. Poor customer service.
I bought an A class in March, it took them almost over two months to return the deposit that was paid to secure the car. After purchasing the car they never replied back to my complaints and claimed that they haven't received several emails sent to them. I contacted their head office and they claim that they have no control over their dealership which is a load of rubbish, what is the point of having a head office. Dealer added Stargard with out having my consent. When the car was getting collected at the dealership a document for Stargard was given to be signed for, another wards it was already added on days before hand and obviously the person that was collecting the car, was under the impression that this was authorised and hence signed for it and now Mercedes claims that document was agreed as it was signed for. Clearly they should refund this as well but their head office is hiding behind the dealer and not willing to resolve a simple matter. I would continue buying Mercedes-Benz but never again from a company owned branch

Bought a Mercedes A-Class 65 plate when it was 6 months old from dealer. Recently I have been hearin a rattelinn sound. They said it was the exhaust so they booked it in quickly which was great. Dropped my car off, got a cab to and from work then went to pick the car up and it was not fixed becuase they did not have the right part. They reordered the part, booked it in, I dropped it off, got a taxi to and from work went to pick my car up and again not fixed due to not having the correct part. So that is four taxi journeys I have paid for when I could have just taken my car to work! Third attempt, exhaust was fixed but car is still making rattling sound so there is obviously another issue. I have now been waiting a week for a manager to call me back. Ridiculous, expected far more from Mercedes. Car is booked in tomorrow, supposedly they are going to pay for my taxi to work in the morning, 7AM as I am a teacher, no idea who the taxi company is or if they are coming. I have now rang Mercedes again and am waiting for them to call me back with this info.
Bought a 2011 e class in 2015 within 6 months seats started tearing up but seats stitching came of with hardly any passengers ever at the back called mercedes where I bought the car from in loughton mercedes and they said they can't do anything about it £17,000 car and they won't do anything even with warranty on the car waste of money interior looks ridiculous now and old not happy at all
Very poor service at Loughton. They carried out a service when I stated I did NOT need a service. They took 8 days for an MOT and a minor repair. In spite of spending £3000 with the dealership and being a pensioner they did NOT offer me a courtesy car. When phoning for an update on my 8 day MOT they did not have any information about my car being in their possession. Even after making an official complaint I was told it was all my fault and in future I should give them at least 30 days notice if I require a courtesy car. I need to keep up my full MB service history but I would choose NOT to use this dealership again. Be warned.
I brought an 'Approved Used' vehicle from Mercedes Loughton. Whilst the sale was ok, as soon as I handed the money over, the contact slowed right down! After service is simply shocking! However the main part of my review, is my beautiful car that I purchased last year has paint blisters. And the only solution to get rid of them is to have the car stripped back to bare metal and resprayed!! Looking on the internet its a VERY common fault with the Fire Opal Red colour, but Mercedes are remaining very hush hush and are saying there is NO manufacturing fault. Having had a few independent reports done, its very clear that this is a manufacturing fault. Mercedes are now refusing to purchase my vehicle back, both the dealership and Mercedes UK are not bothered at all and are more interested in numbers on a spreadsheet. The most shocking part is Mercedes are STILL SELLING THE COLOUR, and trust me, they sure won't tell you about the issue! This is the main part of my review, not to mention the mechanical issues I've had with my 'Approved Used' car. Overall, stick with manufactures that value you as a customer! As I can say Mercedes don't give an interest!
