Shocking customer service, sold the car we paid a deposit on and signed a sale contract to buy. Apparently human error not updating there system. No regard for the fact we now have no car as ours was sold and due to collect 48hrs later. We are still waiting for our deposit back and customer services keep saying the finance department hasn't processed it they will chase it up and call us back and dont call us back. Kind of service I expect from a low end used car dealer not mercedes official garage especially when spending 15k on a car!
🚫 Scammed with no course of action. Tracy and the Dealer Principle, the mafia of car dealerships. Woe betide those who dare cross them Told me my car needed new tyres when the old ones were at 3.4. I was told it would fail the MOT on the cheap tyres fitted 🤔 I only found out after the new ones were fitted that the old tyres were In fact absolutely fine and they did not need replacing. I challenged this in the form of a complaint to head office and in less than 15 minutes we received a shitty email and the manager personally impounded our car in the yard because he presumed we are the sort to steal cars without paying lol. What a lunatic We have 5 cars in the business including 2 AMG and we have never been treated like this by anyone so not sure why we were treated like street scum I make a genuine complaint about a miss sale and then in response no less than 15 mins after complaint we get an email from head office saying the manager believes we take goods without paying. Utter baseless slander. This is based on us collecting our other mercedes-benz that was waiting for a recall for 3 days,months ago,without it even being touched. It was promised to take a day and it still was not done in 3 days so I collected it to use for the weekend. No money was owed as it was a recall. I would also highlight the vehicle was outside before I complained This is totally different to this situation, they have completed work I requested in the form of an MOT and obviously I went in this morning to pay for that but because I have the audacity to question tyre charges they labelled me a rogue. Terrible business and customer service to a genuine customer I am a very reputable and honest, God fearing, local man. The manager has decided that he can throw his weight around when someone proves a missale and he can slander customers with ridiculous precedent. I also took an American express card with me which was not accepted which I didn't know. itwas then turned into evidence we could not pay hence the car being impounded and the email insinuating we would steal it I mean that's just silly. Yes my Amex was rejected and we needed a diff card to pay lol. The work cards I had on me didn't have enough to pay the £496. Not embarrassed as they don't carry balances all the time, just a personal way of managing my finances ha. Why try and shame us for that. I can only laugh it off during a cost of living crisis where you label us as 'Povvos' 😂 cause of a decline on a card. We returned less than an hour later with a debit card to an ingreegiously rude email and a car locked down. The bill was also higher so still needed to add money to the debit card I took with me 💰 Shame on mercedes-benz for trying to break customers who challenge inappropriate extras on costly services. You won't upset me. I will never put up with displays of bullying like that. You only moved the car after I called out your mis sale on the tyres. Funny how you felt the need to protect yourself after I pointed out the visual pre check clearly shows new tyres were not needed. Rather than admit any flaw on their side. In this situation the GM Mr. Price would rather go one to one on personal slander lol. What a guy I find myself banned now for life for calling our liars to be liars and asking for a personal apology from the manager Who cares. I leave with my self respect. 📷Pictures to evidence the fact new tyres were not needed and were then mis sold. Please note, job card for a MOT with an advisory from me saying please check the tyres to see if I need new ones. Merc then lied to me and said I did when they were fine. Costing me £496. I could have done with not buying unnecessary tyres.😭💰 Shame on you as an organisation. I complained but was told no further action can be taken. Avoid unless you want to have your pockets hoovered and be treated with a strong level of disrespect. Remember the staff are better than you street scum🤣 Also car returned with low coolant and a broken chair suspicious given timing Don't believe me. Check out other reviews..

Had about 10 Mercedes cars through the last 25 years and Mercedes Macclesfield is probably the worst dealer I have purchased a new or second hand car from. No back up--Managers DO NOT RING back.. Still awaiting call from August after various calls. and texts Phil Rushton

Just taken delivery of our new car. Simon Lovatt provided us with a brilliant level of service throughout the purchase including periods of delay on delivery. Our experience whilst looking showed that this quality of service is lacking in most dealerships. Brilliant service from start to finish - Thankyou Ali Mohammad at Macclesfield Mercedes branch for superb service throughout buying this vehicle.
On arriving virtually unannounced at Macclesfield, we were greeted firstly by a very pleasant receptionist who introduced my husband and I to salesman Rob R. From the start he was professional and knowledgeable. 24hrs later we had ordered our first brand new Mercedes. 4 Days later we were met at the station to take delivery of said vehicle. Rob went through every aspect meticulously and we left Macclesfield 2 very happy customers and with a brand new Mercedes to enjoy. Thank you Rob
